Second Addendum: I now need to revise my overall review based on Curbio's excellent responsiveness to my complaints. First, Curbio called back the original (sub)contractor to re-seal the leaking windows and repair resulting drywall damage. Second, after reviewing our receipts for plumbing and electrical work that was done improperly and/or not to code (same subcontractor), they reimbursed us for the expenses that were within their original scope of work. Finally, after doing some digging, I found out that our furnace was NOT installed by a Curbio subcontractor. (The selling agent hired them herself.) So, in the end, Curbio (Warranty department in particular) did their best to make things right. Thanks Curbio! Update: Several weeks after posting my review, Curbio resolved this matter satisfactorily. They refunded a portion of their fees.

Ours wasn't the biggest job...an empty out and clean, but they did a great job and I am looking forward to using them again in the future.

This company is horrible and I will never ever refer another client to this company again. The my clients project is almost a year in (was supposed to only take 4 months) and is not even halfway complete. No one from upper management will respond and the regional manager is no longer answering our calls. I've never seen anything this unprofessional and I will be asking my brokerage to cut all ties with this company! read more

As a realtor, you need to be aligned with good companies and good people that you refer, because ultimately it reflects on you. I had never used Curbio but the fact they allow you to pay at closing helped a client of mine. The project was very small, a 550 square foot condo, simple paint, flooring and a few fixtures. They quoted us a price that was lower than my go-to contractor, but after all the change orders that their contractor came up with, the price went up by 35%!! The project manager (Maggie) they assigned was so difficult to get in touch with and was uncommunicative. She had no idea what was going on at the project itself. She told us that the project would be done on Monday, and by the following Thursday she still hadn't reached out to confirm if the project was done, despite numerous inquiries by myself and my clients. I finally had to escalate the situation to her boss, and then she responded to tell us it was complete. I go over to the condo to check, and the appliances were out on the balcony (in 100 degree weather), the place was filthy, and nothing was done like she thought. This project, which should have taken less than a week, has dragged on for nearly a month. I'll never use this company again. read more

I had a simple project start in February 2023 as July 28 it is only 20% complete. It was supposed to be no longer then a 7 week project. The cost was a lot higher but I thought it would be worth it. The quality of workmanship is horrific and the business model creates nothing but inefficiencies and mistakes. I still don't have all the materials needed to complete the job because they can't seem to order timely or order the correct material. My house is in worse condition now than before I started. My recommendation would to run from curbio. read more

I hired Curbio to renovate a home I own but was not living in. Every time I visited the home there was a new problem caused by Curbio. Many months passed and nothing was done. When they finally started working I visiting one time and found that their workmen had gotten into my liquor cabinet and drank a bottle of whiskey. The home has three heating zones and twice I found all three furnaces set to 80 degrees. The furnaces were left to run like that for several days. And, worst, the rear doors were left unlocked so anybody could have entered. The quality of their work was good but not excellent. Switches reversed so that on is off, faucets reversed so that cold is hot. They covered over one of the heating vents in a bathroom which makes the room cold in the winter. Unless you are able to closely watch over your project checking behind them daily I suggest you consider another company. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Curbio here in Alpharetta, GA! In the beginning, the condition of my home in addition to my recent disability was so very overwhelming. They were unable to even get a sub-contractor/tradepartner to agree to do business with them for 60 days!!! Nothing was easy, transparent or reliable. They have hidden fees that just pop up out of no where that they will later be charged to you. Do your research on them and their "licenses". There is too much to list here, but as an example, I was sent lights for the shower from Amazon that weren't even waterproof, a 400 pound vanity was left in the middle of my driveway with no signature needed, and they claimed to apply for permits but never even did. Astonishingly terrible. The material selections don't even match what was sent to my home. Run from this organization. read more

Cubrio does not use Qualified Contractors and does not hold them responsible for Damages to home systems, electrical contractors do not know basic electrical wiring and fried my HVAC unit, even after the contractors was using the A/C when they was painting but after the electrical work the system is was working anymore. the company does everything they can to say it was not their contractors fault when the house was vacant and they were the only ones working in the home. they do not check behind their contractors work. read more

Please do not ever use this c ompany. We are currently under a contract to the tune of 54 thousand dollars . For a 1200 Sq ft home. We needed flooring and paint and 2 refurbished bathrooms, deck work, and an appliance or 2 around the home and a cornice in the kitchen. We then requested blinds which they obviously forgot or didn't care to out in with their 3d scan the first time they gave us a quote. And without anyone there from the company to look at things we were quoted 52k. Now after they hire a gc to do the bidding and hire other workers from wherever they can find they will.claim a walk-through and a finish date. Close to the finishing our workers decided to spray paint the receptacles to match the paint. After trying to fix the deck piers( which 2 of the 4 were undeveloped and still.crooked to this day) they still recognized the issue and claim it will.be fixed. Then the wrong size vanity came in. The wrong color microwave was delivered. And then so called work manager didn't even buy a name brand unit to match our brand new Samsung stove. Now moving forward to why I'm calling the BBB and probably the local news station is that we asked for 2 run of the mill ceiling fans to be purchased and installed . They quoted us 1,500 us dollars to buy and install 2 ceilings that cost 200$ after taxes. So that's a 1,000 in labor. Are you crazy. Anyone please call an electrician and ask. I don't even need to provide proof here..it's clearly exuberant. Then I asked about the receptacles the workers had painted and we need about 30 of them for the home. They cost 5$ each... They quoted us 1775$$$$$$ to install and buy 30 light/switch receptacles.. so that's 1600$$$ for a electricians helper to do a job which can be done before lunch. I know this becasue I used to install residential and commercial lighting. They think I am stupid or they actually just rip people off like this all the time that don't know any better. Oh yeah and the flooring company they hired screwed up our floors and it had to be redone. So again that's empire floorings problem they they can't follow directions either. Now they charge us for a contract due at a certain time. So this company uses their own money to hire these people while charging you 1000% return on their money. I will go to grest lengths to have them investigate for fraud and general irresponsible unethical behavior as a company. And this was just the bad points of the job. The good one was they fired 5 people over the course of 1 month. Who knows how much we would be behind schedule if that didn't happen. I'd never recommend them or use them again. The quality of work is so poor and they do not know how to install anything. I'm sorry to say but Curbio is terrible, we signed up with them in Feb. 2022 and were told that 6-8 weeks it would be completed. We relocated to NC from Ga so they had no one to follow up on the progress daily We are nearing the end of June and it has been a nightmare, incompetent workers damaged as much as they fixed and had to be repaired again. Project Manager was fired for lying to us, we have seen 11-12 homes with our same schools and less that a mile or two from us be sold. My wife is a Real estate broker and has ties to a few companies. they are all shocked how this is turning out. I have tried to escalate this up the chain and have never gotten a call back from anyone read more

Absolutely horrible company. Curbio came in to lay flooring in an unoccupied home I am selling on behalf of an estate. We received a buyer and were under contract with a 5 day due diligence period and a very fast close. Upon turning the water on for the inspection, the HOUSE FLOODED because Curbio contractors DID NOT CLOSE THE WATER VALVE OR RECONNECT THE WASHER AFTER MOVING IT. After I made multiple phone calls to them, Curbio told me they sent ServPro out to dry the carpet. They never came out. Curbio never communicated updates on anything. We had to reschedule the inspection several times and THOUGHT that things would have been handled by the final reschedule, since we were told they had sent ServPro a few days prior. Nope, still no contractors had been sent. Buyers now want $9500 off because they are purchasing a home with a ruined and sopping wet carpet and subfloor, and likelihood of mold. Would have been better off not replacing the flooring at all as I now STILL have to pay Curbio for ruined flooring due to their negligence and needed to come down in price of home to ensure sale still went through. Curbio then tried to speak directly to my realtor (not me) and asked if the buyer would accept a "promise" that Curbio would fix the damage. It has been over two weeks and I still have no idea if they have sent anyone to address the damage they've caused. The communication from Curbio has been abysmal at best and they have now cost me $4k (after negotiating with buyer) in addition to the $8k I owe them for ruined flooring as the only other option was to lose the sale of the home entirely. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I could leave no stars I would but you have to in order to leave a review. I was referred to this company by my Realtor to help with the sale of my house. They came in and made everything seem great. I signed the contract and everything went wrong afterwards. They finished the work on my house a month and a half after the contracted date of completion, making me put my house on the market in the worst possible time. I subsequently had to take my house off the market and pay for the work that was done. Now that Im living here, the work they did was terrible. Appliances are not working and have dents where it has been bumped or dropped, piss poor paint job meaning nothing was sanded or prepped, the toilet moves from side to side and more. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The dishwasher wasn't hooked up to receive water and I have to pay someone to come hook it up. Sooooo much I had to do on the back end once I moved in. Contacting my PM, who's name I will not list, was easy but she kept sending the same person out to fix what he messed up. Like using this company was truly a nightmare. We are now going on 7 months...need I say more! I have written to the "curbio customer service" address to no response! The PM has been taken off the job, unsure what project management the PM actually provided and now the PM's boss is involved and has assigned a new PM. I really want to give the PM's Manager the opportunity to make things right and so far no fixes to the many errors & incompetent work that has been done! In my contract it notes the whole house painting will be 2 coats and minor wall repairs - the old PM made the decision due to running very behind that all walls would only get 1 coat of paint and no wall minor repairs or prep work so wouldn't that then warrant 50% reduction of costs for the areas only covered with one coat and no walls being prepped?! Please Please Please anyone considering this DO NOT use this company! DO NOT - it will not go well! My glass shower door is not only upside down but backwards and opens in to the show NOT out ...ok DO NOT use Curbio. read more
