The situation was made worse by the lack of urgency or accountability from customer service. I had to follow up multiple times to get a refund, and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the condition the item arrived in. Even more concerning: while the website sometimes labels certain pieces as "final sale," the reality is that all furniture is final sale, whether it's marked that way or not. This policy is not clearly disclosed at checkout and feels intentionally misleading -- especially when you're spending thousands of dollars on large, made-to-order items. This is not the level of transparency, service, or quality I expect from a brand that markets itself as luxury. After this experience, I'll be looking at other brands. I no longer trust Jonathan Adler to deliver on their promise of quality or stand behind what they sell.
