This is hands down one of the best Indian buffets I've been to. The food is absolutely delicious, there's a great variety for both vegetarians and meat lovers, and the value is incredible for the quality and selection. Great flavors! Some of the dishes definitely packs a delicious, but spicy punch (for those who are not used to it), so I would recommend trying a piece before loading up your plate :) The people who run this place are so kind and welcoming--you can really feel the family atmosphere. I came here with an Indian friend for lunch. I've notice this restaurant for the last couple years and have wanted to try eating here. The place is simply decorated with interesting murals. The service was quick and friendly. I thought everything tasted really good. The butter and garlic nan were more doughy than other places which I prefer. The chicken tills masala was very creamy and savory. The lamb vindaloo was very tender and tasty. The fried goat biriyani was very filling. The value was great. They had a BOGO for their samosas. For me, personally, the food is underwhelming- I could not really taste the spices in the samosas or the tiki masala. I do think the food is geared towards the palate of the people in the area though possibly. I am used to spicy and strong flavors in Indian cuisine. However, I am still glad I tried it. Someone who does not like spicy may enjoy this place more than a person who enjoys spicy and well-seasoned food. read more

We were excited to find another Indian food buffet. One staff member seemed to oversee things and another was attentive and eager to please. There was a number of items on the buffet, but I could only eat a few of them. Several were fried. I was sadly not impressed with this place. The decor was busy; it felt like a themed cafeteria. The naan was covered in some oil. The chicken was tasty but had too much batter. The beans were cold by the time I sat down to eat them. The Sunday lunch buffet was delicious and good selection of dishes. Their masala chai was very nice and hot. I loved their fresh and delicious pani puri station. First time there dirty fork,second time one of our orders never arrived and they dont check on you,third time I really wanted to love it but plates were dirty with food on it from previous person,spoon was dirty with old food on it asked for garlic naan and they gave us plain naan,when I asked for new plated/forks they were soaked wet as if came out of dish washer? The buffet is decent- some chaat options (pakodas, garlic gobi, a sweetish pakodas, pani puri, a corn mix), 3 vegetarian curry options (including dal), 2 non-veg curries (chicken vindaloo, goat curry), fish fry, tandori chicken, spinach chicken, plain rice, tawa pulao and chicken dum biryani, and fruit custard and gulab jamun for dessert. There are some fruits too. They have chai and get naans by order. The curries were ok. Our favorites were actually the garlic gobi, the corn mix, spinach chicken and the fish fry. The chicken biryani was very average. The pani puri was good. The gulab jamun was good. The custard was quite sweet and felt like it had been made from the instant custard mixes. Their service is average. There was one server handling the restaurant and he was nice, but forgot the extra naan we had asked for. The ambiance is very casual and average. For the price we paid, the buffet was fine. This is also my first Indian buffet in Sacramento. This is definitely a hidden gem in Folsom. I tried a few places already including Vegan only spots in the area and this restaurant with their lunch buffet by far is the most flavorful and great use of spices. Everything I've tried including the veggie dishes was seasoned well. The side dishes was also really good. The butter chicken and chicken korma were really good. Now the bbq chicken Tandori usually are bland at most Indian restaurants but this one was also seasoned well. Overall the servers were attentive and nice, the restaurant was clean and the buffet was excellent. I was missing the lamb or goat curry. But overall I will would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch if you have to pick an Indian restaurant in this area. The price here is even a better value. Must try. read more

First time coming here and we really enjoyed it. Felt very authentic to Indian food. I love that it showed south and North Indian food. The food was so aromatic and very flavorful. They did forget one of our orders which didn't come out till when we were done with our food. They offer buffet here and I'd love to try their Indian buffet. The portion size is small but still shareable. I enjoyed their garlic naan, a little bit thicker than what I am used to but no worries. My wife took me out for a birthday lunch, and as she wished to window shop at the outlets, we chose here. One of the appeals was a lot of food without a long time commitment (buffet). The buffet had the standards, but some additions as well (some chicken dishes I'd never heard of, goat, vegetable dishes, etc). Definitely more diverse selections than a standard Indian lunch buffet. The customer service was really good. They always checked on us, but not in an overbearing way. One of their services they offer is that they make you an Indian style vegetable crepe-type thing. Not sure what it is, but it came out fresh, and my wife enjoyed it. Pricing was fairly standard....not cheap, but not super expensive. Not really around Folsom too often around lunch time, but for a quick, hearty, and tasty lunch, I would recommend you try here read more

Friendly service & flavorful food! The servers were very nice and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The samosas were fresh, onion pakora was crispy, and butter chicken was perfectly spiced. The butter chicken comes in medium or spicy, and the spicy option is absolutely perfect for someone with the tolerance. I also appreciated the generous amount of chicken. It seems the menu has something for everyone, with plenty of vegetarian options and cuisines from different regions of India. Came here after work, greeted by the waitress. She had great customer service. We had the curry fries, tandoori chicken, butter chicken and chicken vindaloo. Garlic naan as well which could've been fresher but Everything else was pleasant. We had a bit of a problem of chicken not fully cooked but they handled it with care and brought us another order. Review was overall experience. This place is a very much you serve yourself lunch, which is fine. However, some of the customers do not pay attention to communal hygiene. For the chips area some will use their hands to grab chips. Which is maybe ok? But, they will grab and drop and pick and choose. Then another customer found a long hair in her goat curry, she told the owner and the owner didn't replace the whole batch and just left it there. This was one of the most enjoyable food experiences I've had with my kids in a while. They are little, 3 and 5yo, and the youngest almost never eats. Well, this was our first time at Curries and Biryanis. We ordered the Mango chicken for the kids and a couple things for ourselves including the egg dish. To say that the kids liked the mango chicken curry would be an understatement. My little one actually ate more than I would ever think she could have of the rice and mango chicken dish mixed together. It was very sweet and flavorful. The 5yo does not like spices, but we got him to try the chicken 65 and he seemed to enjoy a couple bites followed by water. The adult dishes we ordered medium I think but they were mild and honestly I'm glad. I enjoyed them immensely. The lamb was tender and the spices complimented the meat's flavor. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the sauce gave them a nice boost. We have leftovers for lunch tomorrow and I can't wait! We will definitely return again. There was only one waiter for the whole restaurant, he had to seat people, serve people and wipe down tables, which took him a very long time. Great little restaurant with fun cartoonish murals on the walls of all the different food's they serve. Server's are pretty attentive and always offer up tasty treats when I go in to get orders to go. I have eaten inside a few times also, but I get takeout from there consistently. Really friendly service! I'd love to come back to try their lunch buffet. There is no dinner buffet. They have a wall with cute cartoony characters and dishes from their menu which I guess is representative of their different locations. The curries come with basmati rice. We had one Hyderabadi chicken and chicken saag and Manchurian 99. They were all sooo delicious! Very flavorful without putting your mouth on fire. I love their lamb/goat options but I think they only offer that on weekends. We typically come here during lunch on Fridays. We've brought many others and it's been a hit.
