Buffet salad
Kourtney W.

Had lunch buffet here with some family and I have to say it was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very roomy with lots of booth seatings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't busy at all but the food was still good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. service was ok.. a little slow. Took her a good while to bring us our refills after taking our drink cup.. maybe she forgot I don't know lol. I had about a plate and half and was so full.. I tend to pick the same things to eat at an Indian buffet lol They had a variety of items on the buffet selection .. a must try guys .. I had their corn masala which was very flavor and so good (I love corn anything) And also some rice and salad with butter chicken which was really good. After my first plate she brought out some garlic naan and those were amazing! I had some with my second plate of butter chicken. Delicious! Price wasn't too bad either I think it was around $23

So I came here for a wedding reception and I will say not only was the food amazing, and the service was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was super clean and the chairs are comfortable, the dance floor was large and the bathrooms were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was just a guest but the Indian food here was some of the best I have had at a restaurant. I really enjoyed the Marsala Chai and all the food. I would come back here in a heartbeat if in the area. I highly recommend this location.

Buffet - items empty or covered and no taste
Ankush P.

Reviews are misleading. Food lacks taste. We were party of 7 - Sunday afternoon and 0 service. No one to refill water or ask for Naan and the worst part they were not even refilling the buffet items. The pictures speak for itself. Chicken Tikka was overdone. Fish had no taste. Unfortunately none of the items were worth the price that they are charging. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is decent, they have spent a lot of money but if the food and service sucks, what will you do with ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Just as an update - this time around, the mild felt like a medium and the medium felt like a hot. Not sure if it varies night to night or if that's changed over time.

Overall good Indian food, especially because of a buffet style. It's been a hard time to find a good Indian buffet in the Sacramento area, but this is a good spot overall! Wish there was a bit more variety.

Not worth the money. The food is cold in the buffet, not authentic, no variety, and has very little flavor. Such a bummer!!!

Really looking forward to a good Indian restaurant since moving from Fresno. Lots of good ones…read morethere. Called to try to order takeaway but phone was busy. Drove over. Place was empty but clean. Cooks eating ( a good sign). Ordered dal, biranyi, Raita, pakora with chickpea, naan assortment. Friendly staff and she mentioned they were having phone issues. At home unpackaged the bag. Everything was packed well. Flavors were great. I thought the dal a little salty but my wife thought it was great. I wish we had ordered just the onion naan, it was great! Carmelized and delicious. The raita was delicious. Pretty sure it's homemade. Creamy and flavorful. Overall it deserves a 5 for food , prices and service and we will be back again. Hopefully the phone will be functioning and I remember to mention salt. Ignore the other reviews which are all over the place. Been eating northern Indian cuisine for 45 years. This family is Punjabi and know what they are doing.

The server only brought water with no ice, and it's room temp water instead of a cold one. Honestly, it really feels like we're back in India. The food was average! I've been thinking about this place since first trying it a couple weeks ago. I got the butter…read morechicken with a side of rice and naan to-go, just to see. The store was practically empty but the gentleman who took the order was very helpful and eager. I got the full-spice but it wasn't that spicy, which is fine because the texture was thicker than any other butter chicken I've had before. It was so much more satisfying, a good mouthful. The chicken was a little dry but it had that beautiful tandoori color and flavor, and honestly the sauce itself was just so perfect it negates everything else. I hope to come back soon

When I saw that they do have a weekend lunch buffet I knew I had to come over and try it. I really…read morelike Indian food and I do like trying different variety of curries and dishes when I am at a Indian restaurant. Lunch buffet would be the best option which is Affordable and it is only for $20. They have a wide selection of meats to vegetarian and really nice rice and biryani's. Also the lunch buffet do you come with some non and we got to try out there garlic naan which is my favorite. . In the lunch buffet there is a green Chicken Tika Which is Blended with Green spices and it was very moist chicken And had so much flavor . They also had a red Blended spices with curry and chicken it was very different and it was bone fall off and it wasn't too spicy but very flavorful. They also had a goat haleem which is Blended with mutton and wheat or lentils to make it very smooth like porridge and filled with stringy tender meat. I also like their song paneer which is a spinach and cheese which was really great vegetarian option in the buffet. I also like their zera rice which is a flavor basmati rice with dry onions on top which was really great. They're chicken biryani was very flavorful and I also like the fluffy rice and spices in it. They're tandoori chicken kabob was boneless and it was cut into cubes and it was really good and tender but it was a little bit salty for my tasting. Also they do have great selection for desserts gulab jamun like a fried donut with syrup and rice pudding too. . The service was really great and they were attended with refilling our water and asking if everything was okay. The Ambiance is casual and they have plenty of seating with a booth or table of your choice. . Overall If you're looking for an affordable Buffet this is a great opportunity to come try out new dishes from South and North India Cuisine. I also got to try their mutton Mandi off the menu which is a big platter filled with lots of flavor Biryani rice with spices, nuts like cashew and almond and dry onions and in the middle there is three giant pieces of tender flavorful mutton. This is a great platter to share with friends and family. . Also they have butter chicken here, the sauce is thick and flavorful and the chicken was moist and it was white chicken meat. All the meat here is served as Halal which I really like because the texture of the meat is usually more tender and juicy. . I also got to try cheese naan bread which was cheesy and my favorite is still there garlic naan which is thin and they really oven it to crispy and I really like that. The aroma of the garlic is just so irresistible good. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

Was looking for lunch in the area and saw a Fatburger sign at a pizza place. Remembering my SoCal…read moreroots that seemed like a good option. However, the restaurant is being renovated and they were not yet serving Fatburgers and so I left - disappointed and hungry. As I was about to get in my car, I spied this restaurant next door. I had long seen it but never stopped. It beckoned me and I went in. The space was dived into a rather large dining room and a to go ordering space. There was one other patron in the restaurant and I learned it was his first time too. His food smelled so good as it was brought to him sizzling on a platter. I ordered the Chicken Saag and added Thali style, which added bread, salad, and soup to the entree. Good is prepared to order which was lovely. My waiter was attentive and offered water multiple times before I got my meal. He did not speak much English as I learned as I tried to get more ice in my water. He persevered and figured it out! My food arrived smelling and looking good. I love spinach and enjoy it cooked this way. There was a generous amount of very tender chicken pieces mixed in with the spinach. The seasoning was mildly seasoned which allowed my palate to enjoy each distinctive flavor. The vegetable curry was also tasty - cauliflower, carrots, green beans and a variety of mild herbs and seasonings. I also enjoyed the dal - again no bold flavors - but tasty and satisfying. The rice was fluffy and plentiful - more than enough fur the accompanying components of the meal. The highlight of the Thali was the most delicious Naan I've had in a long time. There were two perfect slices with ghee spread on top. I made an Indian "taco" with one of the slices and the chicken saag and a bit of the coconut rice pudding dessert. Most enjoyable bite! As usual, I was unable to eat it all and boxed the remains for dinner later. All the while, there were Asian-influenced music videos playing expressing a meditative theme. I sincerely recommend this restaurant - nice atmosphere, good food, wonderful service. I continue my quest to support local businesses whenever possible and encourage you all to do the same.

I decided to order the lunch special with Chef's special chicken curry . he asked what my spice level, and I said not too much. Medium to mild. Well obviously, there was a loss in translation somewhere, because the curry was pretty spicy. Right up to the very edge of what I can handle for spicy. There was a salad that was basically onions and tomatoes, the tomatoes helped cut down the spice a little bit. It tasted OK, it was just way too hot. It came with two sides, which were good, as well as naan, and basmati rice, which I love. The price was reasonable. I will come back again, just the next time I will be absolutely sure to ask for the mild. Thank you.
