One word that sums up my experience at Curries today, WOW! At first, I was slightly hesitant driving into the lot as the restaurant is adjoined to a 7-11 store. Secondly, parking is limited as they share the 10 or so spots with 7-11 customers. Third, the place was completely empty when we arrived - a red flag in some instance. Our growling stomachs were too much to ignore so went ahead and ordered anyway. My buddy and I got the 3-entree lunch special (which also included your choice of a bottle of water or soda). Final verdict: As Guy Fieri would say, the flavors were out of bounds. The sauce for the butter chicken had a watery consistency. However, the flavors made my eyes roll to the back of my head. Talk about packing a punch. The starch I chose was the regular naan. O-M-G! They were not skimpy as they served four huge pieces. The naan came right out of the oven and smelled oh so heavenly. The best part was dipping the bread in the flavorful butter chicken sauce. I just died and gone to food heaven. My buddy and I were having intense mouth orgasms as we uttered "mmmm" and "ooh" with each bite. haha.... I also had the palak paneer. It was not bad for a spinach dish. At least I got my daily intake of greens for the day. Service wise, the kid at the counter was helpful and informative. He came by a few times to check on us. As for lunch prices, 2-entree plates will cost you $7.99 and 3-entree at $8.99. Remember, that comes with a FREE bottle of water or soda. Buffet on Sunday runs about $9.99. Would I come back? Most definitely! Flavors are on point and service is outstanding. Maybe, just maybe, they will have more selection to choose from the next time we visit (hint, hint - tikka masala). read more

A hidden gem in Everett! This tiny little restaurant makes some of the best Indian food I've ever had! The vegetarian samosas were very good. I couldn't get enough of the mint cilantro chutney...it was the best I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken were so good. The hubs and I were so happy with the food and service. We can't wait to go back! The man and woman working there were friendly and helpful. I think they must've been the owners. Most Indian restaurants I've been to weren't friendly or welcoming at all and haven't had the best service, so I was really happy about this! The restaurant was very clean and tidy. We were driving home from a road trip and decided we wanted Indian food. We have not eaten at this establishment or in this area before. Several Indian restaurants to choose from, but we chose Currys because of the number of reviews and the high ratings. First off, we have eaten our share of Indian food!! We love authentic Indian food with the right amount of spice and flavor. We chose the chicken tika masala and the Malai Kofta. At first, we were a bit disappointed as we noticed the Malai kofta was in a yellow curry sauce instead of the traditional red cream sauce we are used to. However, we decided to give it a try and it was quite delicious!! Definitely not your typical kofta sauce. But it was packed with quite a bit of spice and flavor that left me wanting more! As far as the chicken tikka masala... It was the traditional red sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very flavorful.. not as rich and heavy as other places we've had this at. We also got the samosas as an appetizer, and they were quite delectable!!! We wish we had two orders! We also tried the naan that had the spicy potatoes inside...it was YUM-O!! I went to Curries today with my family for lunch and it was great! The restaurant is small, but very clean and well-arranged with at least 7-8 tables. Since it was Sunday, we went for the 12-3pm lunch buffet! To give you a general sense, Today's lunch buffet consisted of: goat curry, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, daal, korma, channa masala, turnip masala, basmati rice, papadum, and delicious naan. For dessert there was rice pudding. The food was well-spiced and flavorful, and the owners were incredibly nice and welcoming! Definitely worth trying out if an Everettonian, it's a hidden gem on west casino road. They also have great lunch combos! read more

I wasn't a huge fan of Indian food until I ate at Curries!! This food is amazing. Everything we had was delicious! I ate at another Indian restaurant in Kirkland by my house a few weeks later and it was not nearly as good as the food at Curries. Their food is so good I actually crave it and will drive all the way from Kirkland! The tandoori chicken was so flavorful, the butter chicken melt in your mouth and their naan is so very flavorful-the perfect amount of garlic and roasted to perfection. On top of that the owners are the sweetest people-making sure our food was good, even offering a free drink while we waited for our take out. So glad we found this place by accident! I was super excited to finally be able to try this place out. The restaurant is clean and the employee that took my to-go order at the register was a nice lady (in her 20's or 30's). Combos were over for the night so I ordered a la carte. Order of paneer korma 2 star, butter chicken 2 star and 2 orders of garlic naan. Little over $30 for everything. Everyone at their tables were obviously enjoying their meals and the lady serving them was prompt and attentive. Took about 30 minutes, so made to order; which is great. Got home and the garlic naan was fresh but barely had any garlic on it; way more parsley than anything else. It was soft but not flavorful. The curries were okay, chicken was really good quality; but the paneer was shriveled and a little on the old side. No hint of heat to the dishes and no discernible cashew flavor in the korma. I wanted to love this place the most out of any curry place I've ever been to. Sadly that didn't happen. I will try this place again and try some other items. Excellent homemade Indian food. The garlic nan bread is really good, price was surprisingly low for what I had which came with 3 different curries. The amount was more then enough for me. While I sat there I saw a consistent flow of study customers who requested their "usual" so it must be consistently good. I will return. The place looks pretty run down from the outside, but it is really clean on the inside. I ordered the Mango Chicken Curry. Man, all the flavors just exploaded in my mouth like a freaking fire craker. Mom and Pop restaurant. They use natural and fresh ingredients. For example; not powdered garlic, it's fresh cut. Everything is really good and for a good price around 8-9$ for a pretty good amount.
