Our second visit was great We were there on Christmas Day I had the Carnivore pizza and was very impressed The service was very good and I was very pleased with the food quality and the service

Look closely you can see the amount of chicken sadly more curry than actual meat at this location. Shredded lil bits of chicken.

This visit wasn't the same positive experience as our first. The butter chicken was disappointing, with very little meat--just a few small shreds of chicken. Additionally, the service wasn't as attentive or friendly as it was when the restaurant initially opened. We'll probably choose the new Curry King spot in Crescent City from now on, as their food offers more flavor and a more generous amount of meat. Maybe stick with the pizza they offer here in brookings.

I had the pleasure of trying Curry King on their opening day in Brookings, and I'm excited to have a new Indian restaurant in town! They kicked things off with a buffet for $19.99, and while they're still getting into the swing of things, I'm sure with time and practice, they'll find their rhythm. The buffet offered a great selection, and I especially enjoyed the Paneer Makhni with vegetable rice--so flavorful and delicious. I decided to take my meal to go. Looking forward to seeing how they grow and improve in the weeks to come!

We're coming from grants pass and we really needed this, little did we know we would be met with amazing service and the generous opportunity to try new dishes. Thanks so much to the generous people here at Curry King.

Where do I start? We have been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened and my daughter just tried it yesterday...she called and told us it was AMAZING! So, we went today and it was just that...AMAZING! Every dish we tried was so delicious and WOW-they make an AWESOME BBQ chicken pizza!! The naan was perfect and the samosas...YUM! The waiter was sweet and kind as was the owner who came out and greeted us! If you like Indian food you're in for a treat, and if don't, try their pizza! You will be so happy you did!!

Wonderful Indian food! The Butter Chicken was so delicious. It was all delicious. And such lovely, polite young ladies waiting the tables.

Well, we didn't get too far outta Medford, before some of my crew said they wanted lunch. We're…read morejust about into Grants Pass and I knew from my web browsing, there was an Indian restaurant with a lunch buffet. I know there's enough stuff to keep them happy at these buffets. I'm not the most adventurous when it comes to Indain food, so I mostly just stick to Tandoori Chicken and Tikka Masala over that basmati rice. Oh yeah, I love the naan bread too. The place is a bit off the freeway, so I let the GPS do the directing. You head south on the 99 off the 5 and it's down a ways on the right, set back from the street by the big parking lot. Lots of easy parking. The lunch buffet looks like most Indian buffets. The server took our drink orders and we ordered several orders of the naan bread. The interior was pleasant as well. We all go up to the buffet and there's plenty to choose from for everybody. Me, I get the Tandoori chicken and the tikka masala poured over some of the basmati rice. This is all I need to be happy. I'll say the tandoori chicken was ver good, tender nad moist not all dried out or all the scrap pieces like the back and rib cages. I love the thighs. WE all got our fill and lunch didn't have to take 1 1/2 hrs or anything, we're in and out pretty quick. Not as fast as fast food, but this is more civilized. The naan was good too.

First the naan was some of the best I have had, fluffy and pillowy and just awesome, also enjoyed…read morethe pakora and the lamb was not bad. The tikka was pretty hammered (over-cooked) tough cubes of chicken and the curry was what I would describe as dumbed-down for American taste. I realize this is not a politically correct thing to say but all the warm spices I am used to & crave were super muted. Those warm spices are what makes this cuisine so crave-worthy in my opinion. My advice to the proprietor would be not to change a thing about the naan but turn the volume up on all the other dishes in terms of warm spices. Make it the way you want to eat it.

A beautiful piece of art in their restaurant. Wish the whole restaurant had this vibe. The rest feels like an old 80's diner.
