Both times we have eaten at Twisted, it has been top notch! The food is made to order so yes you may have to wait a little longer for your meal. One of the owners used to work at O'Hollerans, she has brought the steakhouse vibe back to Brookings!

The initial rough start is clearly a thing of the past. The service was excellent, everything on the menu was available, presented in generous portions and perfectly cooked. Brookings lost all of its elegant or sophisticated restaurants for a special occasion or romantic night, post Covid restrictions but Twisted definitely meets that high bar! Speaking of bars, theirs is not just beer and wine, rather a full service and Angela pours generously!

The food was A.MAZ.ING. Everything was so flavorful and reasonably priced, even the green beans tasted marinated. The staff was literally so sweet, and there were candles on all of the tables. Get the Prawns, trust me!!

Phenomenal food! I had the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. I had a baked potato and a salad and everything was very good! My friend had the chicken cordon blue and she loved every bite! The service was fast, friendly, and attentive! Great drinks, full bar... the ambiance was perfect for a birthday celebration in that is was fancy but not stuffy. The prices are pretty on point with fresh seafood and the chowder is the best in town!! Trust me, we have tried them all!

A leveled up dining experience. The service and the food motivated me to write a review. Colleen was attentive and great at what she does. My husband had the top sirloin and I had the Fruita De Mar (seafood pasta). Both were delicious!

Fantastic new restaurant in Brookings Harbor next to the famous Mattie's Pancake Restaurant. Only opened for a few days but the famous Chef and the manager from the old O'Holleran Steak Restaurant now long closed command a throng of old faithfuls like my wife and I to show up on Monday evening without a reservation and saw the huge remodeled beautiful restaurant fully occupied. There were over twelve large and small tables all occupied with reserved seats and walk-in guests like us. We tried Coconut Shrimps, Stuffed Mushrooms with Sausage, Cesar salad with chicken and Fettuccine Le Mer and two glasses of house Merlot and Cabernet. Absolutely delicious and beautiful service. You must try this new but very familiar and answer to my prayers for high class entity in Brookings! My foodies: Go forth and do not hesitate. Try everything! Five big Yelp stars.

The the beef and veggie soup was delicious. The spice was amazing. It felt like autumn in a bowl, the blackened fish with the veggies and baked potato with everything on, it was delicious, the blackened fish had an amazing cook and spice on it melts right in your mouth had an amazing flavor and taste, the dessert was amazing with a warm brownie in the scoop of vanilla ice cream on it with the chocolate drizzle over it it will have all the chocolate lovers and love with this dessert. The service was amazing even on a busy night, very friendly and attentive they brought out our food in a timely manner. The ambience was amazing. It felt like an elegant restaurant. Everything was 10 out of 10 definitely would recommend on going

They open at 11am and we came before 11:30 and there was only 1 other couple seated. The waitress was very polite and friendly. We were seated quickly, given menus and water. One lady in our group can't eat gluten and has a few other allergies so she ask if she could eat the "soup of the day". Our waitress replied "I'm pretty sure". My friend asked if she was sure or pretty sure. She said she would check but never came back. Then the weird part happened. We had placed our orders, the other tables were now full, but nobody had food, except that one party that arrived before us. We assume there was some problem in the kitchen but she never came back to explain or apologize for the very long wait. Not to us, or anyone. When she eventually brought the food out, there was no apology or acknowledgement for the long wait. And she brought my friend a salad instead of the soup which she had inquired about. She did explain that she couldn't get an answer to her allergy question so she wanted to be safe. But wouldn't you tell the customer before just bringing the food? Anyway the food was all delicious!! I ordered the halibut sliders which were cooked perfectly. The "soup of the day" was okay but needed salt and pepper, which we requested. They brought us 2 pepper shakers, no salt. My wife had pasta bolognese which she loved. Her salad was bland. So overall the food was very good. The service was below par

I was hoping for "great" in a coastal town, We ordered steamers as an appetizer and it came out with our dinner, not ideal. Good flavor but super slimy. That's either age or not cleaned well but either way they weren't great. I ordered the Yellowtail and it was great. I had the sweet potatoes on the side and they were the best thing any of us had. The boy ordered pasta which was kind of forgettable and my wife ordered the Gnocchi, which she said was good. (It was good enough she wouldn't share). :) The place is kind of a dive, you walk through some random slot machines and a little bar to get to the actual dining room which is decorated straight out of the 70's. That's less of a deal since you don't eat ambiance, Next time I'll try the pork chop (they were out) as it looks delicious.

Party of three and went in to celebrate a birthday. We ordered: 1 oyster shooter, 1 crispy oyster appetizer, 1 patty melt, 1 cheeseburger basket, and 1 fish & chips. She walked away and we had to call her back to order drinks. The oyster shooter came out quickly. It was huge! We also saw another guest with a whole crab. We then realized that there was a seasonal crab menu. Our server never told us about the special menu. I would have easily ordered the whole crab or seafood tower (I forget what it's called but it had scallops, crab, sirloin, etc.). Our meals came out, patty melt, cheeseburger, fish and chips, and crispy oyster appetizer. Wait...what? Why didn't the crispy oyster come out with the shooter? Oh...because our server gave us a meal instead of the appetizer since it had a pile of French fries with it and we were charged for it! Overall, the meals were good. Our daughter enjoyed her patty melt. My crispy oysters and fish and chips were OK, nothing to write home about. Also, the server did not ask how I wanted my fish and chips since the menu offers them deep fried or grilled. They came deep fried. Either way is fine with me but if there is an option, the server should know that and ask. After our meals, we ordered two slices of brown butter cake and instead were served two pieces of mile high chocolate cake. At this point, it was useless to complain to the unattentive server. Probably won't go back.

The vibe is exactly what you expect from a awesome little Irish pub. Lots of beer artwork on the walls, cool little tree of life art, and the friendliest staff you'll ever find. The bartender Holly was the most friendly bartender I've had in I feel like a decade or more, and the bar back Josh was pretty awesome himself. He gave us some wonderful tips for some other places to eat at as we travel around the state, and all in all both of them gave us some pretty epic conversation. We almost never said at the bar, we decided to this time and I'm so glad that we did! The food was so so, nothing to really write home about but nothing really wrong either. It's bar food, you get what you expect when you go to an Irish pub. Taco Tuesday was well worth it, I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish taco and then tried their awesome potato taco and enjoyed the potato taco the most actually! I wouldn't pay what they normally charge for these tacos, they're pretty basic and the tortillas are not grilled nearly enough, but Taco Tuesday made three tacos only $10.50 and I could mix and match between all the different types so that was totally worth it! My wife tried the honey mustard chicken salad and unfortunately it did not live up to what she had hoped for. It was a really basic salad the veggies were fresh which was fortunate but it was basic, nothing was really seasoned, the honey mustard dressing didn't taste like mustard at all and the chicken was basic breaded chicken that tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. It was fresh, but still tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. All In all, the drinks and the bartender will definitely keep us coming back. Next time it'll just be for some drinks and some fries probably, but I definitely can't wait to try the steamer clams with jalapenos.

They do have a food menu, but it's a martini bar first and restaurant second. The food was pretty decent, but the knife work, plating and ratios showed the experience behind the stove. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could order fish tacos even though it wasn't on the menu. I love a good grilled fish taco so I went for it. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well, the green and orange sauces were good if a little too mild, and the tortillas were the right style but not grilled quite enough. Also, there was very little cilantro or onion and almost no cabbage so they weren't as filling as I would have liked. My wife had the Katsu Chicken Salad. It arrived plated like it was deconstructed: the katsu on a bed of lettuce greens with very thick slices of vegetables around around the plate and the dressing on the side. It was odd, clunky and the katsu was under seasoned. The peanut dressing was divine though, my wife said she could have drank that like milk. There are some other dishes I'd like to try and their drinks were fantastic so we'll definitely try them again.

My wife ordered the Agedashi Tofu & Pork Gyozas and I had a couple of rolls, the spicy Rouge and a plain Jane salmon, avocado and cucumber roll. Everything was fantastic. The fish was super fresh, the tofu cooked perfectly and the gyoza sauce tangy and yummy. We only had a couple of small issues, more personal preferences really. 1 - my wife enjoyed the tofu, but the dish is described as having an agedashi broth but really it was more of a thicker style sauce smeared on the plate the tofu was placed on. It didn't really have a true broth. 2 - the habanero marmalade was not spicy. The roll was described as a spicy roll, but the marmalade was sweet. Unfortunately, the jalapeños were sweet as well. I know they can't control capsaicin in peppers, but that marmalade needs way more habanero. It would be WONDRFUL on toast though! Note: looking at their menu now they have updated this roll to replace the marmalade with a "tangy sesame". I look forward to trying this to see the difference. If you want a wonderful coastal option that isn't fish & chips, give Pacific Sushi a try.
