I got in a car wreck in early March and was the only vehicle with damage so decided not to repair it thought insurance to save a little on my monthly payment, I made this clear throughout the entire process. I did an online estimate with Curry that came out to $2700. I took it to two other places and their estimates were way over. I made an appointment with Curry thinking it was to drop off my vehicle, because it did not state otherwise anywhere. When I got there they did an in person estimate and brought it down to $2500 and then told me I could bring it back in June! 2.5 months later! I waited until the end of May and called and they said they could get it in a week earlier. When I dropped it off, I filled stating it was self pay NOT insurance and mentioned one of the tires had a slow leak. They said they don't touch tires but would keep it filled up for me. Three days after dropping it off they called me back and said the estimate had increased... to $5000! Doubled! I asked to speak with someone to understand what had happened and I was connected to Steve who was very rude. He claimed that it was only an online estimate to which I replied he had done the in person estimate that I still had. He said they didn't know certain things were missing such as my fog light, but there was a gaping hole in the bumper that was obvious in person and in pictures. He finally said I "must just be trying to save a few bucks" and "it's called an estimate for a reason". I told him that I planned to pick up my vehicle the next day and would be taking it elsewhere. The next morning he called to apologize and admitted to driving up the cost because they thought it was through insurance and brought it back down to $2800. I decided to let them work on the car because I had already waited so long to get in, I didn't want to start over at a new shop. Last week, we called to get an update and were told that it would be done in the next 24 hours and they would call us back when it was ready. We didn't hear anything and called back on Saturday morning, when we realized they were only open during the week 8-5. This week, I called again and they said they were wrapping up and would call me when it was done. They called back shortly after and said they were missing another piece and they'd have to order it. Luckily, I saved the chunk of my bumper that came off and they were able to reuse it. I was finally able to pick up my car a week after they said it would be ready within 24 hours and almost a month after dropping it off. When I pulled out of the lot, my tire pressure light was on. They had not filled my tire up once in the entire month it was in their possession and the PSI was down to 9. The only saving grace is that the work was done and the car looks good, but I will NEVER use or recommend Curry again. read more

I had a accident Saturday on April 23 and the sheriff came out to the accident and the the Georgia State patrol, so I called my insurance company to come towed my car,but the sheriff told me to let Curry Collision come and tow my car, so I did . I called Sunday to pick it up,but they was closed,so I called Monday and they told me to get my car out it would be 500 dollars and I told him that I tried to get my car out Sunday,he was verynasty to me and he said what you want to do get your car out or if you let it stay you will have to pay more,so I ask him can you give me a discount because it's not my fault y'all close on Sunday,then he said whatever you want to do just call me back,very unprofessional. I didn't like his attitude. I don't think that's fair that you charge someone 500 dollars for just two days. I wouldn't recommend no one to call them, because they are a ripped off. read more

I had high hopes for Curry's Collision because of google reviews. I went to Curry's after my wife was in a fender bender, the insurance does not list them as their shop. An adjuster came out and told me to take them the estimate. Curry's "fixed" the car in about a week and called me to come pick it up. I went to the shop and went outside to take a look. The car looked okay but after I laid on the ground to check out the repairs behind the bumper cover I could see that they didn't fix the metal support behind the bumper brackets. It was still dented-in and needed significant work. It appears that this shop repaired the car to "look" as if it was fixed but it was not actually repaired. I walked a technician outside and showed him the damage which was still visible under the bumper cover. He told me more work would need to be done to the car. I am not sure how they could overlook this damage. The bracket was replaced behind the bumper but there is a bar which the bracket mounts on to. It looks like a ribbon because of the damage; they only pulled that section enough to make the bumper straight. That section itself is damaged about 6 inches in length and they didn't fix it at all. When I asked if they charged to fix it they said yes, and it must have been overlooked. I feel like that is not true because anyone would have been able to see that it was not repaired before that bumper was placed on the car. It doesn't matter if they actually missed that or if they didn't do it to save time and money, the point is I could have driven the car home without all the repairs completed. I would recommend going to another body shop and not using this one. It appears they have some issues to iron-out. **Since this review we have picked the car up. It appears they fixed the previous issue. So here are the problems with their finished product: some runs in paint around bumper cover corners, a section under the tail light of the bumper cover does not fit right, and the car was not pulled correctly in order to center the trunk. (The accident caused the trunk to shift and a larger gap was created on the right side which makes the truck not look right) They seem to want to help and they provide popcorn and a nice waiting area. They also have always been very nice when dealing with them. I just cant recommend them due to the work they produce. **Update: I think the google reviews are fake because most reviewers only created an account to make one positive review on this business.** read more

There was a bad accident in where one off our vans was messed up.. there were dents, the paneling around the drivers rear door was coming undone.. mainly a bunch of things on that particular side. Well they said it would take about 3 days and that was fine the insurance said that we could have the rental for up to a week. Day three came and went no call, so we called and the nice lady who gives you popcorn said it'll be finished today. More days go by, more calls, now we're beyond the 7 days and we're saying we have to take this rental back oh it should be back... nope. 9 or 10 days it took and we get the car back it had ants on it like it had been sitting left open. So there was now something else to fix (the ant problem). The work was horrible. The window panel is still broken. Long story short just skip the headache and try anywhere else. read more

Very disappointed! Never received a call on the status of my vehicle finally after a month of them having my vehicle I called everyday for almost 2 months. They had my vehicle for 3 months and every time I called their story was different had a different excuse every day. My car was in paint literally 3 times a week and I still had to take it back after getting it due to paint drippings on my car. Upon receipt of my vehicle front bumper was cracked notified them next business day since I didnt get my vehicle till late Friday eve after closing hours and they glued it and screwed it to my car. They promised me one thing and got something completely different. Very dissappointed. My step son got into a wreck took it to Perdues and they text them daily or called about the status of vehicle. Will be going there if I ever need anything again. read more

Body work was fine, damaging my windshield and blaming my boyfriend and refusing to fix it? Not so fine. The boyfriend never "admitted" to damaging the windshield, like you lied and told my insurance company he did. You guys could've replaced my windshield for the price of my deductible, a measly $100, instead you chose to have this honest review plastered all over the internet. Whatever you did to my windshield, even though you guys miraculously "don't possess any harsh chemicals" at a BODY SHOP, caused such damage on my windshield that it created a dangerous glare any time I drive at night, which significantly reduces my visibility. Because of you guys, I will now be out $100 to return my car to my standard of safety so I can feel comfortable again with my child in the car at night. On June 1st, my wife hit a deer while driving to work. After contacting my insurance agent, I took my truck to Curry Collision because it was a "recommended repair shop" on June 2. Each time that I would call to inquire when my vehicle would be ready, I would be told either "in a couple of days" or "at the end of the week". After 3 weeks of this same mantra, I contacted my insurance agent to try and determine why was it taking so long to repair body damage (doors, quarter panels, headlight, etc...). The next time that I contacted Curry Collision, the manager asked me (and this is a quote), "why was I trying to make trouble for them?" I should have seen this as a sign of the woe to come. I arrived on the 26th to pick up my Toyota Tundra. As manager pulled it out front, I immediately noticed that the large TSS (Toyota Super Sport) Logo, (approximately 9"x12" decal) on the newly replace rear quarter panel was missing. When I inquired about why it wasn't replaced, He made some comment about that decal coming from the west coast. Now granted at the height of its success a hundred and thirty years ago, the pony express could deliver a piece of mail from the east coast to the west coast in 8 weeks. Yet today, we can't deliver a decal from Texas in 24 days? I know that Memphis is home to Fed-ex but do they not cross the Mississippi river to pick up or deliver packages? Where is big brown when you truly need them? Something about driving around with the logo on one side of my truck and not the other seems off-balance. So not only had they had my truck in their possession for 24 days but they failed to complete the repair work. Had either of these been the biggest issue, then I would have considered myself lucky to escape so easily. Please keep reading..... My wife and I rarely have claims so we have a high deductible to keep the insurance cost as low as possible. So our deductible is $1000 dollars, which I paid using my debit card. Big Mistake!!! The next morning, which was Saturday checking my bank statement, I saw that they not only took a $1000 dollars but decided to take another $1000 for good measure. Maybe I am just being paranoid, but I can't help but recall the manager's words ("why was I trying to make trouble for them?") and think that quite possibly this was done in a retaliatory manner on their part. I talked with my bank representative on Monday and she could clearly show that Curry Collision ran my debit card twice each time for $1000 dollars, however conversing with the Curry manager; he assured me that it was an error that my bank had made. The following Monday afternoon, I took my truck to have the oil change. The technician/owner of the oil change shop asked me who had recently painted my truck. When I told and then asked why; his reply was, "orange peel." Please keep in mind that I know nothing about automobile painting so I had no idea what he was talking about except to say that my truck is white so the word "orange" should never be in the description of it. The next day at work, I asked a couple of guys in our maintenance to inspect my truck's paint job. Both had the same identical reply. Oh and there is a small dent in a "brand new" quarter panel. I still am not sure what the term "orange peel" means but it is not a compliment. Truth be told, it is a truck and I can live with a less than desirable paint job, however, I can't help but wonder if Curry Collision did such a terrible job on the parts that are easily seen (poor paint job and missing decal) then what about the parts that are hidden? Bottom line, if you want your car or truck fixed correctly and in a timely manner, then I would suggest avoiding these guys at all cost. I have often wondered what happen to Larry, Moe and Curly after their 3 Stooges fame. It appears that they moved to Griffin, Georgia and opened an automotive repair shop. Went to Curry's because it's the hometown place. What a nightmare, they fixed all of the "little shiny" parts first and my vehicle was close to being totaled anyway. Well they went to put it back together and guess what, it needs new axels because it was in a bad crash. Really.... I was told that they couldn't find that type of damage until the very end, Steve at the shop told me "I'm not going to total your car out now, it's almost completely done" sooooo, I'm stuck with a car that cost more to fix than the vehicle estimated out to be because they didn't take the time to do a thorough estimate 5 weeks ago. Oh and that's the other thing, expect phone calls like "be ready next week, be ready next week, be ready next week" hope you don't have to have a rental car like me and shell out cash everyday so that they can just sit on their thumbs. I went to this center for a refurbishment to my SUV, I was quoted $1300 for a paint "blending' rework OEM pinstripe and add an OEM rear bumper, hitch and wiring... $1300 turned into $1800, I never got the pinstripe, but I did get the burnished marks on my paint where they stripped the old decal off, I had to have my wiper arms repositioned, I never got the "Grand Cherokee" logo put back on my drivers door, I have gouges in my door and the mating door frame from something they closed in the door, I never got the OEM rear bumper, just a cheap fading knock off, and I never got the wire harness for the bumper! the "person" I dealt with referred me to a manager at time to make payment, after they jacked up the payment another $500, and the manager said "you could have taken the vehicle any time you wanted" (albeit disassembled and not roadworthy) and then he said " the price increase was for rubber hood bumpers and door bumpers", $500 worth of rubber hood bumpers???? Bogus hack maintenance, dragged out the repair estimate time an additional 3 WEEKS and left my vehicle looking worse! I'm sure this place is ripping the insurance companies off, but that's on them, this was an agreed upon list of items to be worked at an agreed upon price with the individual, and they lied and failed. OEM only applies to the insurance company, not the individual. they post on their website that you have a legal right to a quality product, but that is only with the insurance company and their laws. they don't care about the individuals product. Seriously, find another collision center if you are wanting individual service. read more
