I was shown where the battery wasn't bolted back in place and one of the connectors had been broken. I'll have to take my car it to the dealership to have it replaced. Was excited for this service for the convenience of having a mechanic come to me to replace my…read morealternator. The first sign of trouble was that Visionary Conceptions was not communicative and rescheduled multiple times. However, the real problem was that when he finally did show up, he installed the alternator incorrectly. After installation, the alternator was seated so that it was touching the water pump drive pulley. This caused my car to overheat, my timing belt to break, and cost me $1,000 more to fix my car. After getting a new mechanic to look at it, I explained to Visionary Conceptions what had happened and he refused to admit he had done anything wrong and refused to give me a refund. However, the new mechanic was able to prove that the alternator was installed wrong by showing there are notches on the pulley where it was getting snagged on the alternator. Edit: the response below is a bold face lie; as nothing about my tensioner was ever mentioned or communicated to me.

I tried to work with the owner of the company that I got in the accident with and Alpha and they could would work out the payment arrangement. Big mistake. I visited Alpha for the initial quote which I received. They were going to order the part and let me know when I arrived. I went back about a month later. They looked in the system, said that there was note and he said he would have to call me back. So I left. Another month went by and I did the same thing and left with the same result. My guess and its just that, the owner of the company that cause the accident and Alpha got together and decided not to work with me. I don't know. Only my mirror was damaged after a work truck crossed into my lane and decided not to stop. I filed a police report and I should have just called a lawyer. Lesson learned. Thanks for nothing Alpha.
