When load was dropped it knocked over a retaining wall there. Required 2 days of digging a trench to reset and rebuild the wall. Grade C- Homeowner grade for not speaking up - Grade F

The work was sub-par, leaving me to repair the mistakes this crew made during install. Wood fencing/chain link was installed at my home - posts are bent - crew split posts with their nails with no repair - left a few fence post holes half filled! This is on top of the severe attitude problem this crew had!! WOW - I cant even explain how poor this experience was. The owner simply said he cannot control his crew. As a paying customer I did not feel comfortable asking this crew to return to my property to repair the issues I was left with, as I am concerned they will just make more damage being angry. We had asked for 3 issues to be addressed after day 1 of install. These were not unrealistic requests - we simply wanted a good job to be done for the money we were paying. Exercising terrible customer service skills - the owner just talked over me as I was expressing my concerns, and his reply was "It will be fine" and "This is how I've always done it". At this point I had to get my fiance involved (an expert contractor) because the owner was not listening to me, and showed disregard for my concerns. It seems that the other "go to" response is an A+ rating on the BBB website - well, beware of this rating. The experience was awful. And in the end I still have to repair the items I asked to be addressed on day 1. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

The owner (Bryan) came out to my home and measured the job and then emailed my estimate shortly after. Their pricing was very reasonable and I gave him the go ahead to do the job. Bryan and his crew installed a new cedar fence and also a run of Jerith aluminum fence. They came out and did the install within a week after I gave him the go ahead. Both the cedar fence and aluminum fence are first class and we are very happy with the look and quality of the materials. As far as the install, the fence is perfectly straight and plum. I have a trained eye because I am a machinist by trade and the first thing I look for is for things to be straight and square. Overall we cannot be happier with the great job that the Chain Link Fence Connection did on our fence.

We went to Home Depot and to Lowe's but decided to check out Colonie Block also. We ended our search there. The gentleman who waited on us was very knowledgeable and helped us figure out what we would need for the project. Also they had a much better selection of patio pavers than the big box stores and the prices were comparable. But the very best part was the money he saved us by saying,"You don't want to put those pavers under a hot tub where no one will ever see them". We got heavy duty cement blocks that were each cheaper by $5 than the decorative pavers. We would never have thought of that ourselves and it added up to a significant savings. Also when we decided to extend the area we were able to get additional pavers without buying a whole pallet. We're really glad we gave them a try

We had looked for 3 months to find a fence installer that still did wooden fences. After searching…read moreand reading reviews ( which need to be read with care ), I decided to go to Bruce fence. Melissa in the office was fantastic and very personable, went through the options I had looked at, gave me the good, better, best run-down, and helped with an initial ( ballpark ) quote. We set up a date for the next week for Will to come get a site review. He arrived right on time, listened to what we wanted to do, and then proceeded to measure, make notes, and head back to the office to work up the quote and email it to me. The quote was received in 2 days, and I went to place a deposit that day. The installation was set for 2-3 weeks later, but they ended up having a hole in the schedule and were here in a week. The installers were to remove and dispose of the 136' of existing fence, and then put the new one up. Initially estimated to possibly be a 2 day job. The crew arrived right on time ( crew of 3 ) at 8:00 in the morning, re-walked the site, confirmed the placement of the posts, and proceeded with the work. One member of the crew went about removing the old fence and digging the new post holes, and the other 2 placed the posts and sections of the fence. They seemed to work straight through, with just a break for lunch and one or 2 short breaks. Levels were used to make sure that the posts were placed correctly, and when all was done ( by 4:00 pm), the new fence was in. I walked the fence with the lead foreman and pointed out 1 or 2 things which were rectified right away. When they left, there was no trash, yard waste, or leftovers to dispose of. They we easy to work with, did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for exactly what they quoted. The fense has stood up very well over three years. The only detractor is their prices are on the high side - but you get what you pay for. We are currently considering getting another fence installed and I plan to contact these guys first.

Please check this place out first. There is definitely more of a warehouse feel than at Home Depot or Lowe's but the prices are amazing. They will even help you plan your kitchen layout if you are trying to remodel. We bought a countertop, sink, and faucet (and all of the supplies needed) here and saved a lot of money. We are about to buy flooring for our kitchen here. They have a lot of options and even "project idea books" with all their inventory listed so you can take it home and sift through. Summary: Seriously great prices and quality. Don't overlook this place.
