The store was clean, everything was well stocked, and even with plenty of people coming through, the service was fast and organized. That's one thing I like about Buc-ee's. They can be extremely busy but somehow keep everything moving. I got the North Carolina BBQ sandwich, and I loved it. My wife enjoyed hers too. The food is one of the main reasons we stop at Buc-ee's instead of a regular gas station. There are so many options, and I really like seeing the new food and snack choices they continue to put out. Every time we stop, it seems like there is something different to try. The selection of Buc-ee's snacks, popcorn, crackers, jerky, sweets, and other items makes it hard to walk out with only what you came in for. Another thing I love is the cheap fountain drinks. When you're traveling and making several stops along the way, it's nice being able to grab a big drink without paying ridiculous prices. Of course, the bathrooms are another huge plus. They were clean and well maintained, which is something Buc-ee's has built its reputation on and one of the reasons it makes such a good road trip stop. Plenty of gas pumps, clean facilities, good food, tons of snacks, quick service, and just about anything you could need while traveling. Buc-ee's is more than a gas stop for us. It's usually part of the road trip. We'll definitely continue stopping whenever there's one along our route.

The new owner, new attitude has made this a fantastic spot now. The burgers are hot and juicy, fries are hot and perfect and the cheese steak, amazing. The other big improvement is the service. We have had 7 different servers stop at our table to see if we needed anything. The servers clearly operate as a team approach, not individual. We talked to the manager and she explained her training process and it's all about service! The burgers are now hand formed and cooked an a flat top, not in the press.
