Of course, the part that was needed to repair the dispenser door was not available, thus I would've had to order an entire freezer door..... which besides the cost would've been very unsavory.... But Anvar performed some magic tricks and repaired my ice trap door! I am telling you not only is he as nice as can be, but he is a genius when it comes to appliances. I'm now waiting for his return because though he doesn't make repairs on range hoods...... he figured out my problem with that, so he will be back.....Anvar is amazing, punctual, communicative, responsive, his price is fair, and he does business the old-fashioned way.... I don't know what more I could ask for in a service situation…read more I submitted a Yelp request for service on my Maytag dryer that wasn't heating up so 6 service professionals respond, but SMA was able to do same day service and work with my schedule. The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.

Unfortunately due to water and environmental conditions the bottom rusted and leaked, necessitating replacement. Abt could not have been more helpful, in this time of need. The Abt office (Nathan) immediately and fully addressed the situation. The Abt plumbers delivered fast and truly excellent replacement with a new Reliance 50 gallon hot water heater and installed all the necessary copper pipe, valves and fittings---including full labor at no charge. The plumbers (Russell Cartwright and Tyler Fite) installing the unit were very meticulous and highly competent in every detail. They also were extremely helpful and courteous. I have used Abt exclusively for over forty years and recommended their products and service to numerous other home owners--no one has been disappointed. Their appliances and equipment are always top quality but their service and commitment to stand behind and service these products is both outstanding and exemplary. (Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. When he returned home, I asked if the staff was wearing masks. He said 'No. and there were customers in the store not wearing masks either.' I was livid. IMO, any retail business that does not have their workers wear masks is telling the customer 'We don't care about your health. We encounter scores of people everyday and we may indeed be symptom-free but covid-positive.' Deal breaker for me. And then to add insult to injury, I'm not pleased with the knife sharpening. I can run my fingers down the blade without any thought of cutting myself. In pre-pandemic days, I would have definitey brought the knives back to be sharpened again.
