Came in to get work done on a 2017 Mustang GT350 and 2014 Focus ST. On the GT350, got a DSR (Rockford Fosgate), and upgraded front audio to Focal K2, 3 way components. Henry (CEO and owner) quoted prices I just couldn't pass up; he genuinely came across as not caring as much for the sales dollar as he does for making sure you get the best you can. Ultimately Art did the actual installation and he truely works on every project with so much pride, as if it's his ultimate masterpiece!!! I couldn't be any happier with the end result of the GT350. I then had the previous speakers on the GT350 (JL audio C5, 3 way components) installed in the Focus ST with a new DSR (Rockford Fosgate). The catch here is that the focus stock can only accommodate 2 way components. Art once again worked his greatness and engineered his own "pods" from a 3D printer, which he molded to the car and wrapped everything making it look stock!!! I was literally blown blown away when I saw the end result!! Not only was the audio quality amazing, but the way Art made everything look inside was ridiculously crazy!!! I'm really glad I found Henry's shop, he is susper knowledgeable about my car it's a 66 Mustang. Right off the bat, he is super easy to reach, my first appointment with him about installing a car alarm was great he went over all of my concerns and took the time to hear all of them and answer all my questions. He said he would look into all my problems like my horn, car door panels and locks and went beyond for my dash lights that were totally burned and replaced them. He did everything I asked even got my horn to work. He did an awesome job, even when I had a problem later with wiring he took time out of his schedule to come take a look to find out the problem. I normally don't write many reviews, but I feel compelled to do so in this instance after reading another persons poor review of the car stereo shop I was at today. Apparently, the lady goes by the name of Jackie and just about everything she said was a lie. I was having some follow up work done on my Yukon and was there for the whole day and I can tell you exactly what happened. First, let's talk about what was the truth. Jackie did show up and ask for her sub box to be removed along with her amp. The crew did that and returned her car to her without a complaint. A couple of hours later she returns with her boyfriend and that's were the truth stops. So this is were I fill you in on what she just happened to leave out. The boyfriend comes into the shop cussing F*** this and F*** that. I want my money back. You took advantage of my girlfriend because she is a girl. You switch amps on her. She had a teal/blue amp and you replaced it with a black one. The owner Henry tries to explain to the guy that he didn't take her amp, but he wasn't convinced. So Henry lets him review the security footage from today, cameras are all over the place. Henry's coworker seeing that the boyfriend is still not convinced says look you came in with a JVC sub box and a JVC amp and you left with a JVC sub box and JVC amp. Does that convince him nope. So I try to plead to his logical side and tell him why would they want your old used amp when he sells new car amps and does custom installs every day. His answer was so he could make money off of it. That just doesn't make sense. Anyways, Henry makes one last attempt to show that his girlfriend was mistaken about the shop stealing the amp. Henry takes the JVC amp back out to their car and shows the boyfriend where it was mounted. It's an exact match in length and width including the mounting holes on the amp lining up to the holes that were already there. So they are saying Henry stole there amp and just happen to have another one the was the same dimensions including mounting holes unlikely. Oh and before the boyfriend leaves he threatens to kick everyone a$$ in the place including mine lol, but then says out loud if I did that I would probably go to jail. Bingo that's the first thing he said that made sense to me. At no time did anyone laugh at the couple or be unprofessional at anytime. As a return customer I just wanted to set the record straight. Henry has always been fair in what he charges to do his work and has always been professional in his advice including today. It's hard to find honest people who do honest work, but Henry is one of them. He will have my business now and in the future. Look at the other yelp reviews and decide for yourself. Stay away from this shop unless you want things stolen from you! I brought my car here to have my amp and subwoofer uninstalled since i'm pregnant and i'm going to need my trunk space for my baby's things, and i honestly wish i never stopped by.. i had a $200 amp when i came into the shop, when i got home i realized they stole my amp and replaced it with a cheap one worth $50! To top things off, they half assed the job by cutting out all my wires instead of removing them the right way! So I went back to the shop with my boyfriend after he got off work to try and get my amp back and the "manager" there acted so unprofessional and basically laughed in our face saying he didn't steal it and there was nothing he can do but show us the cameras which were pointless because my whole car wasn't even in the frame! I'm so disappointed they would steal from a pregnant women.. they seriously have no shame. I believe in karma though and these assholes will get theirs one day. read more

I have been a car audio/customs enthusiast for over 15 years, so when it comes to audio and customizations I am well-rounded. The owner/installer, Henry, was impeccably educated in the car audio and customs realm; which is crucial to me. I recently came to this location to have a full audio system put in (subwoofers, amps, in-dash tv-stereo... the works) and I was in and out with-in the hour. To my amazement, the installation job was so professionally done, I did not even know he ran all new wiring, harnesses, etc...., unlike most shops (that leave a trace of where they have worked or damaged parts and would have taken 2 days to finalize) everything looks OEM and flawless! There was not any molding pieces loose, damaged or not attached correctly; it was a job well executed! For a custom job this impeccable, I was charged a "fraction" of what I would have paid for a job that would have been poorly installed. I also began a conversation with the owner in regards to other custom jobs such as air-ride, tinting, electrical work, fiberglass, lambo-doors, engine mods, and mathematical breakdowns of speaker enclosures, etc.; without having to look at his computer or phone he gave me all of the possible fitments, wattage range (RMS not Peak), bulb sizes, tire sizes, etc., that are the perfect fit to my car(I have had my vehicle for over 12 years and have done extensive research)! This owner is thoroughly knowledgeable and educated in his line of work. Ergo, when comes to the future endeavors of my vehicle modifications, Custom Audio Designs will definitely be the place where I will take my car. Henry is honestly amazing. I've already taken my tundra and my girls Corolla to him, both jobs he did are nothing short of awesome.
