He took photos, I gave him a site plan with dimensions, he made suggestions... it all went well. He left saying he would get an estimate to us by the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and went. I called him on Friday and he apologized and said he'd like to have an associate look at the site before giving an estimate. He'd schedule that in a day or two. Again, no word from him. Called AGAIN... he said he was with a customer and would call back when finished. Never called back. That was a month ago. read more

This is the second time I have used them, and though they warranty their awnings for 10 years, my first one is over 12 years old, and still is in very good shape. Though at first I was a bit concerned by the increased cost from my first one, I was assured that, "you get what you pay for" as they use the best materials. No cutting corners. This is why my first awning is still in great condition. I did not even bother to get another bid. When the new one was installed, I did have a small concern, and they fixed it immediately... no questions asked! Meet with John Woods in the past. He WAS a pleasure to talk with. He always visited me wearing a cool safari outfit with a safari hat. He wood give me an estimate. I hired him on some jobs. He got the work done. Gave him business. And then I don't know what happened with him. The last time I met with him. He was supposed to give me an estimate and never did. Many phone calls by me. Many voicemails I left. I finally got a hold of him on a phone I used that wasn't my phone number because he was screening my call. I asked him why he wasn't returning my phone calls? I asked if there was something I did? He said no. He seemed in good spirits. He told me I had done nothing wrong and he would call me back. Never did. Never used him again. read more
