I hired Soltech Patio Covers to replace an old wooden patio cover with an Aluminum one, for maintenance reasons and also fire protection. I got quotes from 4 other companies and chose Soltech, because they were reasonably priced and provided the best offer. Jason was a great project manager who offered many good suggestions to make the project result the best. The work crew was amazing. I am a bit particular when it comes to things being plumb, cut right, level, etc., and they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Soltech for this kind of project.

I first used Soltech in 2020 to add a patio cover. They were so amazing that we called them back out to extend our patio cover the length of the house. They were able to match everything perfectly! Soltech has been a pleasure to work with.

Louvered patio with recessed lights and heaters

My husband and I were interested in a louvered patio. We called three different companies and met with reps from each. Andrew (from Soltech) was the most professional and knowledgeable. Communicating with him was easy and he was the most thorough and detailed about the scope of the project. His project manager, Jason, is equally professional and knowledgeable and communicating with him was always quick and easy. Hunter was the primary person who worked on our patio and he was efficient, skilled, detailed and professional. He made sure to leave the job site clean at the end of each work day and respected our property and belongings. We have recently done several other home projects, including a bathroom reno and front and backyard (including pool) upgrades and working with Soltech has been exceptional compared to all others. I highly recommend them for any project. We could not be happier with our patio.

Aquasoltech installed our entire home's rain gutters, and our large patio cover. We recently damaged (our fault), our raingutter in front. They were AMAZING. The communication with this company is incredible, and they scheduled efficiently, arrived with ease, completed the job, and everything is great. Our rain gutters are a vital part of the design of our house. They are beautiful! And our patio cover is just gorgeous. They are meticulous, and professional. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted SolTech Patio Covers because I was interested in purchasing an aluminum patio cover to provide shade in our backyard. The owner, Andrew came for an estimate and did an excellent job of giving me ideas for what would look best for our project and took the time to explain all of the options for a patio cover. His estimate was the best out of several I received both in price and in the detail and customer service provided. I purchased an Elitewood Ultra lattice Patio cover in dark brown and am very happy with how it came out. The install went smoothly and they even made minor adjustments mid-install to better fit the look I was going for. I would recommend SolTech to anyone looking for a low maintenance beautiful patio cover.

I finally had it replaced last April 2025 by Skyline Patio and Sunrooms with an insulated cover. One year later, it has passed the test through hot weather, rain and wind. No more frying eggs on the concrete floor! I was very very happy with the service I received from this company. Joe, the manager, and Rick design rep, Darrin construction manager, Andrea production coordinator, Dianna sales coordinator, and others that came to do the work on site, were all professional and a real blessing in getting my new patio cover designed and put together with the features I wanted. The crew that worked on site demonstrated much care and passion in the work they did. The crew took time to answer my questions and even made a video on my phone so I could remember how the wiring was done for my patio light and fan. I have gutters on each side and also had outlets put in. Today the temperature in my backyard in the sun is 102°F. In the shade of my Avocado tree the temp is 96°F. The ambient temperature under my insulated patio cover is 84°F!! That's an 18 degree difference! The company responded quickly to my initial call and once material was in, had the work completed within 2 days. They took down and removed the old cover, prepped the areas needed, and cleaned up afterwards. Out of all the companies I met with, Skyline Sunrooms came out as my top choice. I highly recommend Skyline Patio and Sunrooms to anyone. They have a cute little showroom, too!

Response to owner's reply: To clarify for future readers,…read morewe were given multiple different explanations throughout this process regarding the materials. At one point, we were told the materials were being held at a warehouse due to financial issues unrelated to our project. Additionally, in the signed refund agreement, we were explicitly told we would receive a refund regardless of whether the manufacturer provided a refund to the company. Even after formal remedies were initiated, there were still opportunities to resolve this matter directly. Full materials were ever delivered to our home, and the patio cover was never completed. Our review reflects our direct experience based on those facts. Original Review: Working with this company was the most stressful experience we've had with a home project. We paid a significant upfront amount for materials and the initial demo and cement work for a patio in July 2025. The demo and cement were completed, but the materials we paid for were never delivered and the patio was left unfinished. After taking our payment for materials, the owner failed to provide them. Despite repeated attempts to get updates and resolve the issue, communication became inconsistent. He offered a refund, but that was never delivered either. We were ultimately forced to pursue formal remedies to try to recover our money and are still dealing with this as of March 2026. Avoid this company. It is not worth the stress, time, or financial risk.

Steve, the co-owner, was most patient and thorough in accommodating our needs, including drainage and lighting, and helping us think through the design and materials. The price was reasonable. JD, the project manager, was great, keeping us abreast of what was going on as the project proceeded. The crew--Jesse and Randal, Robert and Anthony--were likewise a pleasure to work with. The end product is a pleasure to look at, eliciting many positive comments from neighbors and thumbs-up from passers by.

This review concerns only my experience with Pacific Patio's bidding process. The proposal I received did not include any meaningful detail about the materials that would be used. When I asked specific questions--such as whether the support posts would be steel or aluminum--the salesperson refused to answer. Instead, he responded sarcastically, "Do you want me to tell you what kind of bolts we're going to use?" My answer is yes. The materials matter. The type of bolts, fasteners, posts, and other structural components affects the durability and safety of the finished product. Lower-quality hardware may perform differently under wind loads and over time, so it's reasonable for a customer to know what is being proposed. I repeatedly asked for a list of the materials that would be used, but the salesperson would not provide one. Without that information, I had no meaningful way to compare Pacific Patio's proposal with competing bids. Just as importantly, I would have had no clear basis for holding the contractor accountable if different materials were substituted during the project. The salesperson also became increasingly dismissive as I continued asking for this information. That lack of transparency and professionalism led me to award the project--worth approximately $100,000--to another contractor. I'm sharing this experience so that prospective customers know to ask for a detailed written description of the materials included in any proposal before making a decision.
