We talked to four companies about replacing an old wooden pergola over our front patio with an aluminum one. Out of all of them, only Jason at Soltech was able to design one that perfectly matched the original. His quote for the aluminum pergola was also the lowest, and his team did an excellent job with the installation, which was completed sooner than expected. Jason also noticed that our tile roof was directing rainwater so that it missed the gutter and offered to fix the problem by installing new flashing at no extra cost. The office staff - Shana, Melissa and Linda were all very nice, thorough and easy to work with. When my roofer made some roof changes he found some loose stucco. Had another contractor repair the stucco and came back to Soltech to finish installation of the downspout and redo the seams on my patio cover and do some other minor seam repair. Andy was on top of the problems upon arrival and worked diligently to make sure everything was handled in a timely manner. The office staff was very friendly and explained the process very well. When I mentioned that I would be painting prior to putting the gutters on the gal said "wait, I'll give you samples so that you can get a color match". The color match worked perfectly. The install crew showed up on time, were clean cut and friendly, and were happy to show how they fabricate the gutters on site. It's a rather cool machine. The installation looks great and after a year still works fine. But then last night there was very high wind and one of the gutters sounded like a jackhammer all night long. The next morning I contacted Aquasoltech and the office's first response was "oh, we'll send a crew right out". It was a cool couple guys who got up there while it was still windy and cold and they battened down the gutter so now it's quiet. (I live on top of a hill and it was exceptionally strong wind.) Plus it was warranty work. I felt bad that I didn't have any gold to tip the guy. This company is one of those rare honest, professional, and competent companies. read more
