This is more for the process and office experience than the quality of the care. First thing is that they ask you to enter your credit card details in a form which is neither secure nor necessary when you will be paying in person during the appointment. When you tell this to them, they say it's just policy. Policies that aren't secure or user friendly should be called out by customers. Second thing is that the front office person is exceptionally rude and lazy. It's funny how those two qualities always go together. A receptionist is supposed to be at the front office during work hours. When a person comes up and says they can do the form in person, you don't insist that they do it online if you care about your business. In hindsight it was good that I didn't enter my credit card details because I didn't end up using the service. Oh ... And the plaza with their office is dingy. read more

This place is amazing! Not only do they offer chiropractor services but also massage therapy! I started going to Dr. Mati for Prenatal care and went back to her for postnatal as well. She addressed my postnatal arm/hand pain(tenosynovitis) and overall wellbeing. It took a year for my tenosynovitis to go away post-pregnancy but the sessions I received through her expertise were very helpful. Her suggested exercises were also helpful for my recurring upper back pain. Now that my baby is a toddler(and is a big sized ones), I'm experiencing body ache at times due to my toddler always wanting to be held. So I booked a massage therapy session with Therapist Maria Espinoza. My first 90 minutes massage therapy was out of this world! Maria is very knowledgeable and really good at what she's doing. My body felt lighter after the session. Both chiropractic sessions paired with massage therapy sessions really helped my body feel good. Oh, I also like the ease of online booking process by getting to see the therapists and doctors availability! So much easier to set appointments! read more

I experienced significant lower back pain and found Custom Chiropractor on a Saturday. They didn't have any appointments but did book me for Monday morning. The office is small and pleasant - try the blue massaging pillows by just leaning back on them. Side note: available on Amazon! Dr H diagnosed the issue very quickly (to my relief) and worked out the muscle strain (thankfully, no spinal issue) with a combination of massage with active release therapy, scraping and suction cups. I had never tried suction cups and not sure if they worked for me. It definitely leaves a mark with a shade of red that can run pretty deep so beware of the lasting impressions. I also appreciated Dr. H's advice to start icing (I had been doing the opposite with heat padsd) to reduce inflammation. I left with a set of stretches and excercises to perform at home, and the peace of mind that comes with the assurance that I had the right treatment plan. In about a week, I regained 90-95% of my flexibility and reduced the pain level to nearly zero. As a relative amateur in the fitness world, I found myself indulging in random YouTube or social media exercises with relative success, but I'd always find myself tweaking either my arms, neck, or back when trying to push myself to the limits. I'd always be set back for weeks or even months and I told myself that time is usually the ultimate cure/relief. (sorry I forgot your last name ), she explained to me where I potentially may have went wrong during my workouts, and she felt out the muscular imbalances in my back stemming from my slight scoliosis and went right to work ameliorating my discomforts. I was highly skeptical at first since another chiropractor I went to left me with a ton of bruises, but her touch was firm yet gentle. The psychological tension dissipated along with the muscular tension. She was very likable, and I learned a good bit of Canadian heritage (we talked about maple syrup, oddly enough). We somehow got to the point about talking about tapping maple trees and I was originally as anxious as if I were about to be receiving a spinal tap. This review is way overdue I went to four different chiropractors in a period of five years trying to handle a lower back pain issue and I would always go through the same process with all of them, first few sessions are great and the rest of them are repetitive, with no progress and no effort or focus on the patient, and just doing their best to keep them in the loop to make sure they keep coming back. I started going to a chiropractor in '97 from bad car accident injuries. I've been to a few different ones since and can tell a good vs bad chiropractor by the way they adjust you. Good ones typically adjust areas that 'need' to be adjusted and bad ones have adjusted everything i the affected pain regions. I've been going to SCCC for over a year now and have been more than pleased with Dr. Ledia Mati's treatment. Aside from just adjustments, she tries to get to the root cause of the problem and makes preventative suggestions. I recently had a workout injury to my lower back (on top of all my other issues) and Dr. Mati got me back to normal within a month and would accommodate last minute visits for emergencies. I have been going here since August 2019, and I only have amazing things to say about this place. My favorite parts of going here are that I receive friendly personalized care starting with the helpful receptionists to each of the doctors. I feel that I am especially helped with the stretches that I am told to do in-between appointments. I've had work done with Dr. Amos Chon, Dr. Ledia Mati, and Dr. Sarah Schweter. I saw Dr. Chon for almost a year, and he helped me with whiplash (and the re-injuries that followed due to car accidents and snowboarding) from August 2019- March 2020. He was efficient, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He always did muscle work, cupping, then adjustments. My first adjustments after injuries required me to ice, and he facilitated that easily and as comfortably as possible. The stretches he prescribed helped lessen a curve in my lower back after several weeks. Dr. Mati has been treating me for residual neck and upper/lower back pain and stiffness since April 2020, and I like that I have gotten a variety of treatments. I've had plenty of active muscle work and massage, Hypervolt work, taping, cupping, RockPods, stretches for range of movement, and adjustments. She will occasion do the Graston tool techniques/China Gel as needed and is great at explaining what and why she is doing something. Dr. Mati is fantastic at giving me tailored stretches to do between appointments. I've seen Dr. Sarah when I needed an emergency visit and Dr. Mati wasn't available, and she is just as great! We did the same types of treatments, and I left feeling much better! Though the individual price ($80 a visit if you don't purchase a package) might make some people hesitant, I HIGHLY recommend this place because the 30 minute appointments are filled with much-needed muscle work and valuable knowledge. read more

There are several chiropractors at this office but this review is for Dr. Mati! Working at a desk all day for my job I've dealt with forward head posture issues, lower back pain, and neck tightness. I've seen many different chiropractors over the years and never been able to commit to one because I felt like they were wasting my time and money without actually helping my issues. Dr. Harjot Grewal is absolutely amazing!!! I had several different issues that were preventing me from running regularly. Dr. Grewal used different techniques based on the kind of pain and discomfort I was feeling on the day of my visit. She always patiently answered my questions. I had a appointment today with Joseph Kim for an hour of deep tissue massage. Let me first begin by saying this isn't a place to get a massage if you're looking to get relaxed.... (which is not something I was looking for anyways) I've had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, especially on my right side. He used a pressure point technique. Which was very time consuming, my appointment was for an hour and he only got to do my right neck and little bit of right shoulder! He had to rush my left side which is now the side that's hurting and is very uncomfortable. He didn't get to work on my mid or lower back at all. He was nice and asked a lot of questions which I think some of them were unnecessary!! Overall it was ok! My right side that was hurting is now feeling a little better however after leaving the office my left side of neck and should hurts!!! I expected more for 110$+tip read more

I'm so happy I found SCCC. I started going here when I was 10 weeks pregnant as I was dealing with migraines and other pregnancy related ills. Dr. Mati saw me through most of my pregnancy and she's amazing. She was so helpful and made me headaches go away. Dr. Sarah is great as well and saw me through the end of my pregnancy, up to the day before my due date, which I think helped with my labor and delivery of my daughter. I also saw Florence weekly for massages to help with the severe hip pain that was plaguing me. Not only are the providers great, but the front of the office staff are as well. Dr. Wolfer is amazing! I was having some neck issues causing constant pain. She worked the tissue very well. It hurt but that was because it hurt to touch the area. Worked through it and now 6 hours later the pain is all but gone. It's amazing! I appreciate her honesty and not trying to take my money.
