I've been coming to this dry cleaner since 2019 and never had an issue until this recent experience. Last week, I dropped off two sport coats, one khaki and one dark gray. After picking them up, I was getting ready to wear the khaki coat on Saturday and noticed it still smelled like body odor. I also noticed two stains--one on the upper right chest and another on the lower left chest--so I wore the dark gray coat instead. The next morning, I brought the khaki coat back and explained the problem to the employee working there (guy with beard). I asked him to smell it, but he said it smelled fine. When I pointed out the two stains, he started arguing with me about why I didn't disclose the stains when I originally dropped the coat off. I have a 3-year-old son and, like most people, I don't carefully inspect every piece of clothing before taking it to the dry cleaner. I'm bringing it there to be professionally cleaned, so I would expect stains to be noticed and properly treated. I asked him to clean it again, and his response was, "OK, I'm gonna let this one time." That really bothered me because I've been a customer since 2019 and had never brought anything back or complained before. I picked up the coat again on Friday and wore it to an event on Saturday. During the event, I kept smelling something like dirty feet. Eventually, I realized the smell was coming directly from the same two stained areas on the coat. I tried wiping them off, but the odor would not go away. My wife even sprayed scented hand sanitizer on the coat just to make the smell more bearable. I'm very disappointed, not only because the coat still had stains and a terrible odor after being cleaned twice, but also because of how my concern was handled. A longtime customer should not be argued with or made to feel like they are asking for a favor when bringing back an item that was not cleaned properly. So I had brought 3 gallons in made by the company Selkie, one of them had gone through Splash mountain with me and two of them got peed on by my dog. One of them is a fully sequin mini dress, and the other two are a little extra extravagant. I will be honest I fully expected to pay a lot to get these three dresses clean, but was quoted an amazing price. Went in January to get a new zipper on a brand new dress. The zipper was garbage. I clearly told them when dropping off my dress, that I wanted a brand new zipper and not have it repaired, said it twice! Well they scammed me and repaired it only to trust it and the zipper didn't work when I put it on, I was embarrassed because they never replaced it and repaired the faulty zipper, it was faulty not going to stay zipped up. I looked at the stitching and I knew then that they didn't replaced as I asked and paid for, it was not done and they had the nerve to charge me $30 for a zipper that was not replaced! I was dumb enough to take another retro dress and they were not capable of washing. Gave me my money my money back, at least. However, when I got home and I washed a dry clean only dress in woolite, the cherry designs on the the dress were no longer bleeding. They could've done it. Don't know who was lazy there! This past week, I gave them two jump suits to hem. My orange suit they gave back and when I got it, it was not done. I was supposed to get both back together and they took my number and never called me to tell me both were not ready. My partner picks it brings back orange and they scammed him. Yesterday he picks up the black and white one and that was not done either!! It still had the original stitching same length. They gave me back my money for the orange one to my partner! But they passed this one as done! Never again! Nothing but a incompetent workers! Stick to washing only stay out of seamstress work! Stay clear of this place!
