We brought our wedding suit and dress here to be cleaned with care, based on the positive online reviews. I prepaid for everything upon dropping them off. My husband's suit came back with 5 noticeably damaged buttons on the vest, and the sport coat was also pressed incorrectly so the lapel doesn't lay flat. I asked for a supervisor to call me, but no one did. I had to call back. Kelley offered to replace the buttons with something similar. (The suit was custom tailored at Nordstrom's; so random replacements would never suffice). I expressed concerns about my wedding dress being there for spot cleaning, due to the lack of care and quality check we experienced with the suit. She said that when the suit was cleaned last week, she was gone, and the owner was responsible for cleaning the suit. She literally blamed the damage on the owner Cindy. She also said that there was no guarantee on my dress not being ruined, asked me to come pick it up while raising her voice at me and being short of breath! I politely pointed out that there was no reason to raise her voice at me, and she hung up. I had her on speaker phone with my husband present and we couldn't believe her tone and lack of professionalism. I prepaid $325 for my dress to be cleaned, and the employee who took my order in did not mention that there was any risks or lack of guarantee on hand spot cleaning my dress. UPDATE: the owner, Cindy, reached out to me and said that she doesn't remember the vest buttons being damaged upon cleaning but she did mention that the buttons are made of shell. So, she was deflecting all responsibility here. I was not even offered a full refund, she just wanted me "to come pick up the dress". I had to ask for a full refund! It's been a couple of days and there is no pending refund on my credit card. This company is also false advertising, as they claim to specialize in wedding dresses and that each dress comes with a consultation for best cleaning options. read more

I was in there recently early & was informed the soonest I could have my item ready was next day mid morning. Yes, they're a good dry cleaners, in town many years. But their prices are sky high. If you have high end clothing, and lots of cash, this is your place. But if you have inexpensive clothing, say workwear, find somewhere less expensive. This place is a drive for me, but if you have a garment you want to have well cared for, consider Bud's your new dry cleaner. Took a Carolina Herrera tafetta dress to a very highly rated dry cleaner prior. It had spots on it they weren't comfortable cleaning, and in the end, they said they weren't comfortable cleaning the entire dress as they didn't want to ruin it. It was for a gala and I expressed that I needed someone who was confident they could care for it properly because it was very expensive. Called around to several places till I landed on Bud's. Spoke with the owner and caught her up to speed. She assured me she could clean it. She sounded very confident, so I made the drive. Happy I did. The people at the counter said the owner would take a look at it when she was in next and likely wouldn't try to spot clean the dirt marks on the long dress ties that had been dragged along the ground as it might ruin the dress (water spots/ remove the color and sheen), which I was fine with because i had read the same online. Got my dress back within a few days for a decent price and to my surprise, it was in perfect condition. She had been able to get ALL the stains out. I was very grateful! I have gone to Bud's dry cleaning once before, and I had a good experience so I came back the second time. I brought in my dress for a cleaning just for a refresh, and I had planned on wearing it to a wedding this weekend. I went to pick up my dress, paid for the service, and then I was informed that because the dress had elastic material, the elastics all came out. My dress was entirely ruined beyond repair, and I was so beyond upset because I had a wedding the following day that I intended to wear that dress to. The lady at the front told me that that's what happens with elastic materials, and took no responsibility for damaging my dress. I asked for a refund or a reimbursement and was denied. I asked to speak with or contact the manager and I was denied. I told her that as professionals, it is the cleaner's responsibility to know that elastic material is meant to be cared for in a very particular way. I was so beyond frustrated and was met with 0 accountability and 0 rectification. I had taken my dress in perfect condition and got it back completely damaged. I just picked up a sport coat I had pressed and a pair of slacks that I had altered. Both are an excellent quality Italian fabric and were handmade in Italy. I formerly used a so-called "boutique cleaners" service agents in the area and was extremely disappointed with not only the quality of their work but the customer service when I had an issue. Buds is so far superior and I am hugely impressed with their customer service. They know how to treat fragile fabrics and their hand work and workmanship is impeccable as well as having extremely friendly customer service people! I could not recommend them highly enough! They are what we used to regard as a high-quality "French laundry". Handmade shirts come back beautifully pressed for both French cuffs and collars. They really take pride in what they do! They did a nice job on dry cleaning a suit and tie. However, the disabled access to the shop irrational and inaccessible. There is a step up to get to a ramp to enter the shop. There are more steps at the main door. I noticed this because my husband has difficulty with steps. A ramp starting further up in this small strip mall collection of businesses was blocked by open doors. I am very surprised they haven't been hit with an ADA complaint that might make it worthwhile to make that ramp truly ADA compliant. If you can't do stairs, go somewhere else. The Granite Bay Bud's location has better disabled access accommodations. read more

Omg, I have heard about this place, and read many reviews about them, hence I wanted to give it a try. I dropped 3 of my dresses to be washed/dry cleaned. When it was time to pick them up and pay, my jaw dropped when the cashier said, "your total is $96.00!!" WTF?? 3 regular cotton and linen material for $96.00... I was shocked to say the least.. I have never paid that kind of $$ for dry cleaning 3 non formal, non gowns, or beads, just regular dresses. Well, I will not be returning here again...I don't care how good of job they do, but I can't afford this type of pricing. And that is why I live here instead of Hollywood. Do NOT bring your wedding dress here!! Or anything for that matter. I brought my wedding dress here to be dry cleaned as I have a tradition where for my anniversary I wear it, and was looking forward to wearing it for my 2 year anniversary. I dropped off the dress and was told it would only take 2-3 days to be cleaned. A week went by and I got no call about it. Come my anniversary day there still wasn't a call so I came by to inquire about it and it still wasn't ready. Worst part is the lady who was helping me admitted that it had been snagged by someone there but quickly said they could steam it out. She said all this very nonchalantly and didn't even apologize for the snag, I mean come on no one wants to hear someone messed with their wedding dress like that! They told me to take the dress home and bring it back later so they could stem the dress and complete payment. My family was furious when I showed them what had happened to the dress and they recommended I take it to David's Bridal, where I had bought it, to have them fix it. When I called Buds they told me David's Bridal wouldn't be able to fix it; that David's Bridal didn't know what they were talking about or doing. I told the lady on the phone I was going to have David's Bridal fix my dress and she rudely told me "good luck with that" and nonchalantly said not to come in and pay for the cleaning. Of course I wasn't going to pay for a cleaning- they ruined a part of my wedding dress! The worst part about this experience was just the lack of compassion and taking no responsibility on their end. Also, I had taken the dress in to be cleaned in a stunning David's Bridal bag and got it returned to me in a cheap see through plastic bag. Horrible experience I would never recommend you come here! I should have listened to the bad reviews about this place. I'm also expecting to get a reply saying that I'm lying (as that looks to be the response people who give bad reviews get) or that I somehow have the wrong place. Today was the big day I have been waiting for years!! When I picked up my cleaning, there it was attached to my shirts.....not my pink "Judi's" bag I had been using since switching over years ago, but my own, personal "Bud's" blue bag!!!! I am so proud that I finally made it! On a serious note, I have been going to Bud's for years to have our entire families cleaning needs done and while they are not the cheapest, they are the best, far and away. If you understand the difference between price and value, no one beats Bud's value. In nearly 10 years, I have never had anything lost or damaged. Often I get too busy and drop an old beat around the house shirt in my dry cleaning bag and it comes back, pressed and "no charge" as they know it was not my intent to clean the house beater. Really sad that I had to update my review to 1 star. My husband spends a lot of money here about every 2 weeks and brings consistent business without a problem. Today for some reason he did not have that same experience. Instead he was treated rather poorly and unsure if the owner was having a bad day or just treated him differently outside of his suit. Bud's saved the day!!!! I spilled vitamin e oil ALL over my bridesmaids dress one day before the wedding! It was a Friday morning and every dry cleaning place I called told me the same thing, there was nothing they could do until Monday. This was for my sister's wedding and my son and daughter were also in the wedding as ringbearer and flower girl. I was devastated that I would not be in the wedding if I couldn't get this dress cleaned THAT DAY. I called my husband in tears and he told me to call some wedding shops to see if they had any recommendations. One gal gave me the contact for Bud's where I desperately called in tears to see if they could help.
