They ended up saying they'll look for it and it's been another month almost and no update. So glad I paid $70 for them to ruin my jacket, what a great first impression.

But if you need actual garment care--like stain removal or attention to detail--you're not likely to get much beyond the bare minimum. This is the second time this has happened. Zips feels like a volume-driven operation, not a service-oriented one. I expected more accountability and quality control.

The cushions were ruined. The manager talked with the owner. The owner stated no guarantee with cleaning and did not reimburse for cushion damage. They only refunded cleaning fee. I expected and received the same level of service/attention to detail as well as pricing. Bereavement attire was handled *gratis*--- for which I am glad they had chairs still in place as my knees left me...and I will ALWAYS be grateful for the young Lady at the desk. I have returned thrice since. As of May 2025, New Management is in place (again) with a new name: FABRIC CARE CLEANERS. Same pricing, quoted time-frames were observed, Requests noted and executed properly. I have been a customer for over a year. Sterling cleaners has had some challenges the last 10…read moreweeks. The front counter ladies are excellent and unfortunately, they spend a great deal of time looking for clothing that has been misplaced and racked in a different area than the computer says. I brought in 3 shirts and when I went to pick them up only one was ready and they said the other two would follow. I received a ticket for the two that i was owed. Looking for the shirts went on for a month. I was finally called by sterling and they told me the shirts were given to someone else and that person brought them back. I went in to pick them up and they were no where to be found. Management handled this so poorly, they took another week to research. I was told they would have to look at video and totally disregarded what I was saying in addition I had two of her employees verify what I was saying was correct. Finally they admitted they could not find them and offered to reimburse $15 to $20.00 a shirt. I not sure where you can replace a dress shirt for $20.00. I was also told by management I picked them up and she remembered waiting on me. She has never waited on me. This situation could have been handled more professional and it took me 3 trips to get an answer. Management basically told me I was a liar which I find amazing when the two employess backed me up. I have moved on and will not do business with Sterling due to management. What a shame the front counter ladies are excellent. I think people should know the $15 to $20 replacement policy on shirts if they lose yours.
