I should have read the reviews about their disorganization. The load of items I dropped off for cleaning weren't ready when promised and were unavailable even after I received a text, email, and app notification that they were ready for pickup. I still think Zip is great but... lately, and I will blame Covid and lack of staff. Came to get my clothing and doors were locked with a sign up. Ok not in a hurry I can come back tomorrow. Back the next day doors locked again during opening hours. Sill not in a hurry. Came back day three was finally able to get my clothing. Next time to pick up clothing a few weeks later. Computer system was down and couldn't get clothing. Came back a second time. Gentleman working was in a surly mood, not at all friendly. They have signs up to be kind to their employees because of staffing and pandemic related issues. But the staff also needs to do the same. Picked up my clothing today. I was so happy to see the young lady of color. ( I really have no idea what is PC today ) She is always so friendly and funny and always makes me laugh even at something as mundane as a hypenated last name. My clothing was lost by the Dirch Road location in Indianapolis. I was told by Alecia, the Manager to fill out a claim. I called after a few months and was told she can't find the claim, I filled out another claim and took a picture. She avoids my calls and will not provide an update. Her employees told me "This is normal for her". They lost new clothing and will not take responsibility. I have reported this before. I don't plan to go away! read more

I have moved over a year ago, but still come all the way on this side of town to use Zips because they are friendly, reliable and have gone above and beyond in service and support. Having not been satisfied by other more local cleaners, I will continue to give Zips my business. You can be guaranteed that if an item can come clean, they will get the job done, and press everything to look new again. This last time I came to pick up my order and my toddler and kindergartener had fallen asleep on the way. Gina was kind enough to bring my order to my car so I wouldn't have to wake them just to go inside. I really wish they would open a Zips in Avon/Hendricks county. Who knew face masks would be the hot new fashion trend of 2020? All jokes aside, it's super important to wear a face mask when out in public during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a great place but the owners have not adjusted their signing or messaging to match their hiring troubles. Sadly this location has not been able to hire employees. I dropped suits off on 2/22 and the women helping was very nice but did not have support from the owners. She quoted one week for cleaning but I am at 1.5 weeks now. Even coats, people! -Drop off by 9AM and its ready by 5PM. -Pre-pay so when you come in you can grab & go. -You can text while on your way so its already pulled for you! -They have free drop-off bags that can be set up w/your payment info and you can drop it in the bin and be on your merry way! -When the owner was telling me about the cleaning process they use one of the first benefits he mentioned was that it was safer for their employees, for their customers and for the environment. -The plastic bag clothes are packaged in are biodegradable Seriously, check this place out. It's a little out of the way, but worth it for me to continue due to the price and convenient process. I'm at the age where I actually care about the longevity of my clothes and preserving some of my more "timeless pieces." There is a grab and go pickup section for duvets and comforters, once they're ready, and although I used an awesome Yelp promotion this time, I appreciate the ease of prepaying and simply picking up. I brought a jacket and dress midday and they were ready for pickup the next evening. The 9-5, same day guarantee is great for those time crunches when you need something freshened up last minute. I had been meaning to get my comforter cleaned forever, and with all things pandemic going on this just kept sitting on my to do list. I was so glad a friend mentioned ZIPS had a $19.99 rate for comforters, and that they were fast, and did a great job. She was absolutely correct. I dropped my comforter off on a Saturday and it was ready to pick up on Monday! I love the text notification system to let you know when your items are done. I have been going to Zips for a couple of years and like their prices. However it seems that lately the management is lacking. I drive to the Ditch store all the way from Westfield to pick up my cleaning. I got there at 6:30 pm. The sign says they're open til 8:00 pm. When I got there at 6:30 the store was closed. This is the second time in two months that this has happened. I appreciate the atttactive pricing but the pricing is starting to take a second spot behind reliability. read more

They will not accept garments with "pet hair." I take clothes to the dry cleaner because they're willing to clean them for me in return for my payment. I have a pet, so yes, there likely will be pet hair on them. I received a call the day after I dropped off my clothes, telling me that they had been rejected, but that if I cleaned the pet hair off they would be happy to clean the garments for me. I picked up the garments and immediately took them to another dry cleaner less than a block away, who accepted them for cleaning without question. Zips has lost my business. I won't be back, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I just had the best experience at the Greenbrier ZIPS! I dropped a pair of slacks for dry cleaning a couple weeks ago and failed to get/keep my receipt. I absolutely was not paying attention all wrapped in my own little world! When picking them up it became clear they were missing from my account and the staff went above and beyond to find my garment! Totally my fault for not paying attention and they were fantastic in making me whole in just a few minutes! I highly recommend this location. If I could give this cleaners a below zero, I would. Terrible. I took my comforters there. Employee was so involved in her personal phone conversation, she acted like she didn't want to be bothered with customers. When she finally got off the phone, she had an attitude, and told me that my comforters wouldn't be back for a week. After I got home, the lady calls me and states "I'm sorry but we cannot clean your comforters, because they have dog hair on them" Really???? Are you serious??? The last time I checked, the whole purpose of a cleaners is to clean. I do believe that a cleaners should be able to handle dog hair!!! Give me a break. On top of everything, I had already paid them my money!!! Of course the woman said, "We are under new management, and this is our new policy". The only problem is that the new management happened a year ago. I had several comforters cleaned since the new management, so either this woman is lying to me, or they are telling people this sort of thing when it's convenient for them.
