Dr. Yannelli is extremely professional, smart and friendly. Her staff are also very pleasant and the office itself is cute with a good selection of eyeglass frames. They are very honest. No one tried to pressure me into pricey frames and they gladly offered to give me my written prescription in case I wanted to shop elsewhere for frames or contact lenses (I bought both through them but just the fact they willingly offered the prescription showed their honesty). My two kids and I had routine eye exams and we ordered new frames and lenses and two of us ordered contact lenses. Everything went great and we got exactly what we wanted. During another visit, Dr. Yannelli took care of my eye infection and everything turned out great. Regarding the people complaining about medical vs vision insurance, it really depends on what you're being seen for. Sometimes eye doctors bill medical insurance (like when I had pink eye), and sometimes it's vision insurance (like when I went to have my vision checked and contacts fitted). If you have one or both of those types of insurance, simply check with them before your appt, so you know what to expect and how much it will cost you. Leaving a bad review about this type of thing solves nothing. My only complaint with this office is that they really take their time. What took 10 minutes at Americas Best (now there is a TRULY AWFUL office!!) takes an hour and a half here. The appointments could definitely be shorter if they did their work a little more efficiently. An appointment of this type should really take about 45 minutes to no more than an hour. Anyway, I hope more people will take the time to leave a positive review for this quality eye care practice. It's such a shame that nowadays, most people only bother to leave a rating or review if they are angry about something.

I cannot speak to prices as I have insurance and have never compared cost to other practices.

Dr A also looked at her eyes to see what he could diagnose. My wife has had eye trouble for years astigmatisms, retina/macula problems. Dr A advised her to see a cataract surgeon as he thought there was no other damage that he could assess. Long story short, my wife went to a recommended specialist and she now sees better than she has in many years. Dr A is a great Dr. I highly recommend his services. Unassuming, quiet and humble but very professional and knowledgable. Great Dr! And, yes, my glasses are the right prescription and work great!
