She arrived to the first cleaning appointment 25 minutes late. She cleaned for 3 hours and said she was finished. I had an appointment I was late for and since she was late arriving and took longer to clean than she had initially said; I paid her and we parted ways. After arriving back home, I began to look at her quality of work. My first stop was the master bath as this was one of the biggest priorities for me. While the shower glass and door had been cleaned well, it was immediately obvious she had not even touched the shower walls or floor. They had dried by the time I arrived home and you could still see the soap scum on the walls and especially on the floors. The picture I've attached shows the amount of soap scum I got off one small section of one wall in a few minutes. The faucets in the sinks had been shined as well as the mirrors but the counter nor sinks had been wiped down or cleaned. The counter is light in color so you can't see the dust that accumulates but you can certainly feel it. The items on the bath counter had not been moved nor cleaned behind. The sinks still had soap and toothpaste residue around the drains. The kitchen sink had been sprayed with cleaner but not actually cleaned. The microwave had also not been cleaned. At this point, I reached out to her via text to express my disappointment, and share with her the items I'd found thus far and requested a partial refund, as she had clearly not cleaned the items I expressly asked for nor the items her website says she will clean. Unfortunately, she replied with excuses, exaggerations about my requests and then blamed me for having 'standards' that were too high. I was also told that she didn't do the interior of appliances, i.e., the microwave, but her website clearly states she does microwaves as part of her '51-point checklist. ' I don't appreciate overpaying for a service and then being lied to about what is included. Her website says she offers a guarantee; there was no offer to come and re-clean the items in question. While she did clean some things well, I found it very frustrating that complete items weren't even touched. The master shower walls nor floor were cleaned, the laundry room sink, the kitchen sink, microwave, kitchen table were not cleaned and there were missed items in our family room that didn't get dusted. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture. My baseboards and woodwork weren't even touched - even though she claimed she'd have a hard time 'overlooking' them during the walk through AND the '51-point check list' says they will be included. For someone who charges $50/hour and asks you to pay cash so she doesn't have to claim the income, her thoroughness and quality are severely lacking. Her '51 point' checklist listed on her website is a joke. In no way did she complete all of these items and then lied to me about them after the fact. She did do a nice job on my hardwood floors and I would have given a higher rating if it hadn't been for her poor response to my complaints. She tried to make it my fault and shift the blame to me for expecting too much. The claim of "100% clean guaranteed," is clearly not the case. She advertises she will clean to a certain standard, includes a list of items she will clean and offers a guarantee ~ none of these things were met by her. If you are looking for an honest cleaning service to clean ALL the things she advertises -then your 'standards' are too high for Brooke.

SCAMMERS!!! Do not use Deep Blue Clean!!!…read more Deep Blue Clean forced me to pay $975 for an unnecessary "deep clean" of my house to begin service with them; but they did such an awful job (and broke my glass chandelier) that they had to come back and do it over again. Then, once I started the routine bi-weekly cleaning service with them, they quickly went back on their original quote and increased it by over $100, claiming the original quote was a clerical error. When I voiced my frustration, the manager Soliani said "this isn't going to work out" and essentially cut me off instead of taking accountability and trying to make it right. That's just bad business. I told her to terminate my account with them and to send me a check for my broken chandelier, but she said she cannot do that without me providing a receipt/link of my purchase (which I no longer have access to, as I've had the chandelier for 5+ years). What a crock. At the end of the day, Deep Blue Clean has been an extreme disappointment with mediocre cleanings and shady business practices. BEWARE!!!
