The master bathroom shower and toilet and sink started backing up with water. Couldn't figure out what was wrong we discovered when we went under the house that the addition on this house was actually made with a old galvanized pipe. Whilst I am not complaining about the effectiveness of their trade. I am however disgusted at the tactics this company have used to collect on a payment for services carried out for a Corporation owned house, a Corporation that I do not own or not an officer of. I was a contact person to schedule the repairs. I was the person who lived next door to the house that was in escrow. Custom Plumbing did not submit their bill to the escrow company for payment in a timely fashion, before escrow closed. I received several calls from them and I explained the situation clearly and gave them the information for them to contact the owner of the corporation. I was then harassed by a collection agency and I also gave the agency all the pertinent information that I had previously given to Custom Plumbing to collect on this debt. After many letters, the collection agency then contacted TRW and have now negatively impacted my previous good credit score. I am a senior citizen living alone, and I live off my limited social security income the bill is at $1,900.00 Needless to say I would not recommend this company. read more

John came out and fixed an old cast iron toilet flange that was rusted causing a leak. He knew just what to do and had experience with older plumbing (House is from 1949). He even cleaned up after himself and vacuumed. I have been trying to find a reliable honest plumber that knows issues with older houses so it was great to find them (recommended by a previous neighbor) also they called back right away! We needed a to find out why our water pressure was so low. We called and they arrived within a day. They fixed our water pressure problem that day! Then as we were talking we decided to upgrade our water heater. Again they were back within a week and installed it in one day. Clean, neat and very friendly. Now we decided on new toilets for the house. They have been ordered and we should have them installed within 2 weeks! We have more stuff to do around the house, might even remodel a bathroom. We have had issues with kitchen sink backing up in the past two years. It was snaked with a store bought snake both times. It only fixed the issue for a while. On a Saturday late afternoon, it clogged up again. We called Custom after checking out some other plumbers and were told they could get to it the beginning of the next week. We called custom and Patrick answered immediately. I asked if he could come out right now and after informing us of the weekend surcharge, we agreed. Patrick showed up within the next hour and after showing him the access points he proceeded to check the trap below the sinks first and then after diagnosing the issue informed us he was going to have to use the mechanical snake. After snaking it a number of times to get through the tight blocks he changed to a grinding head and snaked it a 3rd or 4th time well beyond the first two points depths he cleared the apparent blockage. He asked us if we we were senior citizens or military and gave us a discount on the invoice. Patrick was professional, personable and informative on what he was doing and why. Would not hesitate to use again, though hope its not on a weekend obviously. Lol Thank you Patrick for a job well done. read more

Gavin showed up on an extremely wet morning recently. He was holding a canvas tarp, to lay down on my floor to protect it as he did his work. They say it's the little things that matter, and that tarp was a home run. I had a shower that wasn't draining, hadn't been since May. I explained the problem, Gavin came in, glanced at the tub, and very politely and tactfully informed me that the drain lever was in the "off" position. I, of course, was sure it couldn't be just that simple (since I am a DIY genius, lol)...but it was. He was very thorough, checking flow in both bathrooms, and very kind in not rubbing in my error. these guys will be the first I call when I have a real plumbing issue. =) very professional. read more

Owner John Jones and his wife Mike went above and beyond in helping us with our plumbing emergency. The crew painting our house broke the tubing off of the angle stop valve to our toilet and we had to shut the water off to the house. They took care of our emergency with one hours notice after hours at 6:00PM. We were so impressed with their professionalism that we decided to have them replace our two toilets the following week.
