I wore them outside 3 times within a week of picking them up and the color just washed off from the rain and wet ground and they looked like I never had them repaired. He charged me $45 for the repair, and they didn't even last a week. I returned 2 weeks later to ask him to please redo them and to please waterproof them this time. He said he did, and that it would cost me another $25 to have him do it again. I don't believe for a minute that he water proofed them, and i think he knew what would happen. He refused to fix them without me paying more money and said it was not his fault. I wear them so much that the heel tips were falling off and the metal was exposed. The heels were all dinged up, and the leather sole was falling off. Angelo took such great care of me! In just one day he replace the heel tips, shined and cleaned up the outside of the booties, and re-glued back on the soles. They look as good as new. All for only $13! I highly recommend taking your shoes to Angelo's!

I…read morehave been looking for at least 5 years for a cobbler who could replace the soles and repair the cork. The soles were replaced with a brand name BIRK. Mr Gomez always answered the phone and did the work within 2-3 hours while i waited. Mr Gomez told me where i could park which was very close to the arcade. I went to the coffee shop in the arcade and walked around reading my book. I felt the price of 2 pairs of repaired Birkenstocks were quite reasonable and i am happy to have my fave sandals on again. I feel that Mr. Gomez would accommodate any situation that you may have.
