Atrocious. Don't come here. My uncle got work done here and timelines deadlines never met. Work was ok. Went to another shop for other work.

They just recovered 60 year old foam. When I brought it back they wanted to charge me $600 to fix it. I'd never go there again

I contacted my dealer, and they told me most of the parts were discontinued and there was nothing they could do. I was seriously considering selling the boat and buying a new one. Instead, I decided to explore retrofitting the boat with modern digital systems. After some research, I found Gearhead Marine. From the very first conversation, I knew I had found the right shop. Courtney was fantastic. He clearly explained all my options and confidently told me, "When I'm done, you're going to have a brand-new boat." He was absolutely right! He completely overhauled my electrical and electronic systems, retrofitted everything to modern digital standards, and even took care of several issues on my trailer that I hadn't mentioned. He performed two separate sea trials to make sure every system was working perfectly before calling the job done. I couldn't be happier with the results. The boat now runs and handles better than it did when it was new. Courtney's expertise, attention to detail, and professionalism are outstanding. I will never let another boat mechanic touch my boat again. If you have an older boat or new one for that matter, that needs work, do yourself a favor and take it to Gearhead Marine. You won't regret it!

So this is our first boat and didn't have a clue what to look for When buying a used boat. I called…read moreJeff the owner of Sundance and asked would he be able to look over the boat? He explained in detail what they would look at. I looked up what that would cost at other shops and found his price range to be comparable with others. When we arrived his lead mechanic Ritchie greeted my wife and I. Within a few minutes Ritchie found and showed me what could have sunk this boat on the water. They had no problem letting us stand around while they did the inspection. We agreed on a price and within two days we were ready for the lake. This was probably the best experience with a shop of any sort I've ever had!!! I stopped by several days later when my new prop came in and Ritchie's assistant mechanic John threw it on in 5 minutes, gave me great advice on operating our new boat. The work they did was replace upper and lower bellows, shift cable, full tune up with oil change, checked wiring, lights and inspection the hull. Thank you Sundance for a wonderful and stress free day on the water. (Don't get upset when they stress not to forget your plug!!! They care about safety)

I had already replaced and tested several parts myself, but the boat still wouldn't run right. Richie took the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of just throwing parts at it. He found that the fuel pump was the main issue, replaced it along with the spark plugs, and got the boat running like it should. The engine now pulls hard, runs flawlessly, and got me through an entire weekend in Laughlin without a single issue. Richie was honest, knowledgeable, and communicated with me throughout the repair. He treated me right, got the job done quickly, and charged a fair price. It's hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but I won't be taking my boat anywhere else. If you're looking for someone who knows boats and genuinely cares about doing the job right, ask for Richie at Sundance Marine. Highly recommended.

If I could, I would give this business 0 out of 5 stars…read more The customer service is extremely rude, especially the maintenance technician with tattoos on his head and arms. When I purchased my trailer, the salesperson told us we could record the walkthrough while the technician explained how everything worked on our new RV. When the technician arrived, I started recording the RV so I could remember how everything operated. I had no intention of recording him personally or showing his face. However, he immediately responded in a rude manner, saying, "You can't record me." Less than a week after purchasing the trailer, the door stopped latching from the inside. Since it was under warranty, I called and scheduled a service appointment. On the day of the appointment, I spoke with the service advisor, who instructed me to back the trailer up so they could inspect it. As I was doing that, the maintenance technician (Moses) started yelling aggressively, saying, "What are you doing? No, no, no! Don't back up that way!" I stayed calm, parked where instructed, and explained the issue. After confirming that the door would not latch, he grabbed his tools and began working on it. While making the repair, he repeatedly slammed the door aggressively and handled everything with a very poor attitude. Concerned by his behavior, I started recording so I would have documentation to report the incident. As soon as he realized I was recording, he became even more aggressive, yelling, "Are you recording me? What the f** are you recording me for?"* His behavior was completely unprofessional and intimidating. There are a few employees there who are friendly, but the majority of the staff I dealt with were rude and disrespectful. In conclusion, they treated us very well while we were negotiating and purchasing the RV. However, the moment we returned for a warranty repair, they treated us like we were an inconvenience. It felt like dealing with a completely different company. I highly, highly do NOT recommend this place. I truly regret buying my RV from this company, and I would encourage others to shop elsewhere.

The original foam had broken down horribly and was literally specks of green remnants under the seats. He was happy to check them, and gave me a very fair quote. He was very helpful explaining how to care for these poor leather seats that had been under seat covers for 19 years. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and it was ready to pick-up the following afternoon. The original leather was still in fairly good condition so the seats only needed new foam. They turned out better than original as Oscar built with extra foam! As they begin to wear in with usage, they will still hold their shape. Not only did he do a great job on my seats, but he gave big Bertha a bath. What an awesome surprise! Thank you Oscar! #3: Our 2005 Travel trailer was desperately in need of an upgrade. It looked like it was from the 1960's with Grandma's big flower print in mauve! The foam in our dinette cushions was so old and rotten that when you sat, there was no "cushion", just felt like you were sitting on a board. Oscar came to our location to measure the dinette and see what we needed. I had purchased the same material as our new couch and chairs, to have the dinette cushions recovered. Oscar supplied the new foam and did a superb job of sewing the cushions covers, even double sided now, unlike the originals. We couldn't be happier with the quality of Oscar's work! His workmanship is top notch but his prices are reasonable. Definitely worth the wait!
