First time in a long time to Sawpit beach. I can honestly say I was so disturbed by all the trash flying by along the sand. I've been here before as a young adult and don't remember the beach area being this dirty. It was so sad to see how the visitors were ok with allowing trash to fly away from their areas and not trying to chase it and pick it up. So much trash went into the water and just really made for an unpleasant visit. People have got to be better about policing themselves otherwise I really don't see this place staying open much longer. read more

1st I like to say, this is a Great place. We did some fishing/Catching here last weekend and the Pan Fish bite was on. Had a broken bolt while trying to get the boat in the water and the 4 people we asked for a little help all made excuses(especially this one jerk sho I overheard saying "Forget them- let's get in the water" his boat was called AVALON.Anyway me and my Brother Mike caught about 27 Blue gills,Red ears,Pumpkinseed and 1 cat fish. I honestly didn't know much about his lake until one day I received a picture from a relative showing their catch of the day. I never really catch anything at a lake, but I wanted to give it a shot. I should've paid attention to the signs when driving as I missed the exit and ended up on some dirt road (thanks google)! After making a quick turn around we made it to the lake entrance where there is a $10 fee per car. From a distance the lake looks pretty big and well kept, but as I started to walk around I found the cleaning station had fish guts, fish heads and trash. Anyways my family and I paid $3 per person so we can try fishing at the dock, which is a good price just to relax and enjoy the breeze. My 7 year old daughter caught her first fish and was super excited and soon she reached her limit of 10 stripped bass for the day. At this point you may be wondering why a 2 star rating.... well the story continues when we returned a few weeks later and rented a pontoon boat to try for larger fish near the dam. The dock crew were super nice except for the "supervisor" or "manager". The dock crew surely weren't too fond working for him and had some choice words to describe him, lol. After getting the kids secured in their vest, we headed out to the dam. This is where the 2 stars come from. The boat had a 15' anchor line, we dropped it and started fishing. Within minutes the boat drifted close to the shore! WTH, we relocated and the same thing continued to happen. After 3 hours we gave up and headed back to the docks to return the boat. After docking and telling the dock crew of our experience we were told that they know of the issue and have been trying to get it fixed, but their message weren't getting through to anyone. For anyone who visits Silverwood Lake, I would recommend fishing at the docks but DO NOT waste your money on the boat rental unless you want to just go around the lake and not being able to stay put to fish. read more

Knowingly us a damaged jetski and we took off as soon as we are away from the dock it starts to sink. Once we return the jetski they automatically tell us it's broken and charge us for it. A couple weeks ago I went on a day trip to Silverwood Lake for jetskiing and water activities. The last lake I can remember going to a few years back was Lake Isabella, which had left me with low expectations after Isabella clearly started to dry up. The drive into Silverwood Lake was quite nice. Not too windy, easy even when towing Jetskiis, and not too many cars. That is, until we arrived at SL. Word of advice: MAKE RESERVATIONS! Our two cars surpassed the long, slow moving line to get in. We probably entered around 10am or so, and the line was incredible at that time. Later in the day we saw a family on a boat which had to wait 5 hours to get in without a reservation. SL is very strict about the number of water vehicles allowed on the lake at one time. Which is probably why the place is so beautiful and clean. My friends told me that there are campgrounds but the reservation list is 6 months in advance. I'm not sure how far ahead the list is for day passes for water activities, but there is a beach area where no jetskiis are allowed, and places to fish as well. Overall a beautiful place that isn't overcrowded or polluted, not too far off from civilization, and great to spend (at least) a day at. read more

Upon the advice of a Lake Gregory local, my hiking friend and I took a day trip here on a Sunday afternoon. The weather was picture perfect. Not a cloud in the sky. We were confused as to how to get here. At one point, we saw a sign about the forest and ended up at some off road vehicle camp, which I believe was Miller Canyon Group Camp. Around the next bend, was the road to a prison camp! We beat a hasty retreat and found our bearings again. To get here, just get on the main road that goes around the lake, which is 138. Once you see the lake, keep your eyes peeled open. If you see the big EXIT sign look carefully. For some odd reason, the signs to Silverwood Lake are posted down after the OFF RAMP not before. Very strange. The entrance fee was $6.oo for day use. We waited in line at the entrance booth like everyone else, time consuming, yes, though bearable. The Marina itself was packed. Saw a man with at least 8 big fish, proudly holding up his catch for a photo op. After viewing the crowds at the Marina, we drove to the Cleghorn day use area, parking lots 4,5 & 6. Lot 4 was empty. Lot 5 had some cars. Lot 6 is designated for launching of hand carry watercraft. We settled on Lot 5. Spent the afternoon lounging in a grassy area, overlooking the swimming area. Parents dutifully watched their little ones on flotation devices, while some children squealed with glee. Older kids were overheard playing Marco Polo. A place where kids could be kids. All under the watchful eye of a lifeguard till 4:45 p.m. We sat in our beach chairs, drinking in the serene setting until it was nearing dusk. Although the signs posted here say they close at 9 p.m., the resident insect population started hours before that. They started kicking us out earlier e.g., by biting my friend's arm. closer to 6 p.m. My friend spoke of being bitten, then we agreed to depart. I would advise leaving before it's totally dark if you lack any sense of direction whatsoever. It wasn't easy making our way back around, up and over the mountains again, headed toward L.A. I'm glad we left when we did. Bring a flashlight and binoculars with you. read more

We had a great experience. We rented the longer aluminum boat and it was perfect for us, 2 adults 2 kids. The dock man was super chill and friendly. Didn't catch any fish but still had a great time. Lots of people complaining about drifting, we had that problem too but like the guy at the dock said look up Cedar Springs, there was a town that is now under the lake so the water is quite deep. He said they would give us an anchor but it only works in certain areas and close to shore. If you are staying at the Mesa/New Mesa campground it's about a 30-45 minute walk to the marina but it's a paved trail so that helps the walk. One negative is that they have posted in the campgrounds they deliver firewood but they told us at the marina only on the weekends so be prepared for that. read more

8.29.10: Silverwood Lake was not as small as I have imagined. It is a medium size lake. The drive there can be a little confusing if you are not paying attention. However, you can see a nice overview of the lake and the Mountains. It's quite beautiful. I was hoping the weather would be hot, but it was actually on the warm side with cold winds. The wind was pretty chilly it made going into the water difficult or of a matter even getting out of the waters. I was shivering the whole time. The winds were so strong that day it blew over our Easy-Up. So Sad. That's when it was time to say goodbye to this place. Overall, it was nice and chill, it doesn't have much land space, and if it does it's not sandy, a little on the rocky side. This lake its more for chillen and cruising on the boat. read more

Just returned from a camping trip here. Great site for camping and even better for water activities IE: Boating, Fishing, Personal water craft (jet ski). I'm going to break this into 2 parts. Camping and swimming. We did not have a boat or jet ski. Camping: *Please note! Some of the following is based on personal expectations and lack of camping etiquette. The camp site i choose was site #80. Close to the host site and restrooms. The first thing i noticed when first arriving at the site was how much trash there was all over the ground. Mostly plastic bottle caps, plastic utensils and little bits of annoying rubbage. i spent about 20 minutes cleaning up before setting up camp. The site had a great alcove in trees next to the picnic table that the tent fit into perfectly. This was a great spot until the site goers behind us set up their tent 3 feet away from ours...sigh not a big deal, but 5 kids up until 1:30am laughing at fart jokes etc... probably payback from the days of my youth doing the same thing...lol The fire pit was a 3/4 55 gallon drum with a semi grill top and a separate charcoal grill stand. Close to the restrooms was more of an invitation for other camp goers to use your site as their personal walk way. This was extremely irritating, especially at night when you are trying to sleep and you hear footsteps and see silhouettes that appear to be encroaching your tent! Squirrel's: BE CAREFUL! if you leave any food out even just to go to the rest room they WILL get into it!!! Bathrooms: Meh, fairly clean aside from the fact that most people don't know to push the handle in to flush the toilet. So most of the time there were alot of full toilets when i went into them. Showers are ok, cold water as expected and bring your quarters! Water: Not so great for full on swimming. Despite the 90+ degree weather, the water was cold. To cold to stay in for very long. However, if you bring a tube or some type of floatation device so you are not fully submerged in the water it would be much more enjoyable. The main beach (lot #1) has a snack shack, life guards and lots of picnic tables. This is a blessing and a curse. Since it is so windy there is alot of trash that blows into the water. lots of napkins, plastic water bottles and zip loc baggies on the shore line. They must clean this everyday or it would be un-swimable. Again the water was chilly, so we didn't last long. Lot#2: The parking area, picnic tables and restrooms are farther away from the water. It's a little bit farther of a walk to the water, but this helps keep the trash out of the water. there are pathways that are a bit steep if you do not want to walk around down to the water. The beach area was lined with families with ez up canopies. There was a jet ski staging area and alot of Dads returning with 1 child and leaving with another. Seemed like alot of fun. We hung on on the shore line and made sand castles. the sand was a bit less rocky than the main beach. I would def return to this spot next with a canopy and a cooler. There are areas you can hike down to the water from camp sites, but we never ventured that far... All and all it was a good visit, but a few things that held the rating down. read more

Now that my little girl is 3.5 years old, I've been on a kick to take her outdoors. Her mom had a big headache, so it was an impromptu father/daughter day to wander in the mountains. Went up the 15 freeway, turned right at the 138 highway exit, and drove a curvy mountain road to Silverwood Lake. As others have said, keep your eyes on the road and signs because you can easily choose the wrong fork in the road as well as miss the entrance road to the lake. Paid 10 bucks for the day use ticket, and parked in the second to last lot before you hit the boat launch area. One thing to know is that you cannot walk/hike all the way around the lake at water's edge. At some parts you can, but at some point you will be blocked by shrubs, trees and bushes. There are trails that are higher up above the lake that you can take to access shore areas. You take those trails then cut down to the water every so often. It is a bit of a pain when you have a kid. But I saw people dragging all kinds of gear. I'm good about being a mule, but these folks were impressive. On this Sunday, the place was crowded. Not to be elitist, but the general crowd was not great. A ton of shady looking folks with a ton of wild kids with ghetto blasters clearly blaring rap and club music complete with sex references and profanity. First of all, not appropriate for kids and families. Second, this music was not even fit for Vegas strip clubs... The music was THAT dirty. Water is actually clear, but looks a little murky at times, naturally due to the sand and dirt. That's fine. I just wasn't into the algae. There's a ton of it at certain areas of the lake near shore. In fact on the trails near water's edge, you can see sheets of old dried out algae. I was a great boy scout back in the day and I've been at all kinds of places. But I would not put my kid near this algae... Although other people didn't have an issue. We walked by an Austrian/German family on a more isolated part of the lake -- and they had no problem swimming in it. Like I said, I'll give it another shot. But on a weekday when it's less crowded. read more

It's a state park same as all the rest. It all depends on who gets hired as seasonal help, otherwise state rangers are all same. All the parks I gone to have rangers that do a great job of dealing with the public all day long. Is short I take the seasonal help with a grain of salt. Bill at boat rental is the only one I'm doing a bad review on. He's not a man of his word, he ruined my 1 year old grandson birthday. I called the boat rental for Silverwood in Hespiria ca. at 7 am I had 10 people to take on the boat my other grandson came with two others from Vegas, any how I got there at 11:24 at the main trailer for boat rental and sign on door said go to other snack bar building to rent boats . I got there at 11:26 and asked to rent the pontoon boat and the guy bill said to late to rent it. I said come on please bill I called you in the morning to let you know we would be there for last boat rental. His response was I'm not renting it to you. You should have come earlier, still I said please let us rent it I'll bring it back earlier and still pay for two hours even though boats don't have to be in by 2:00 pleading with him and he still said I'm not renting to you or "YOUR KIND". So was I discriminated on my race because no other reason.. he sucks don't rent from him if he's working the day you go there other wise every one else in the park was great read more

The surroundings are really beautiful...non desert like, alpine many different types of foliage. Being at a higher elevation makes it much nicer than most other reservoir's. The picnic areas and camp sites are really really nice. Peaceful, grass, trees, etc. The beach on the other hand is a nightmare! Riff Raff and yucky people everywhere! Yet there is plenty of other space to enjoy and becomforatble in. Plenty of picnic areas, away from the beach, but with lake views and privacy. Boating: BE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!!!!! They really control the number of boats and watercraft, so it feels really spacious. There are private beaches to shore up at everywhere. Being on the water you will for sure escape all the undesirables. Yes there is algae, but the water is super clear and sandy bottom, not murky at all. So wilderness gals such as myself wont have problems, felt great to be on and in the water! Who cares! I didn't see the trash and cleanliness issues other people experienced. Like I said stay away from the beach, get out on your boat and you'll be fine! Less than an hour away from OC, you cant really beat that... read more

I will never go to this poorly run joint again. I rented a 14 foot boat. I should have known when i got in the boat and saw only 1 anchor i was in trouble. When i asked the guy, "Where's the other anchor" he simply said, "Well, people are bringing the boats back in with just 1 anchor, their either loosing or cutting them" So, I'm thinking to myself, ok, well, if you give then 2 anchors and they come back with 1, charge them but never let a boat go out with just 1 anchor. Anyway, i take off, find a spot to fish, drop my anchor and i see it only has 10 feet or so of rope attached to it. So now, not only do i have only 1 anchor, its not even hitting the bottom so my boat is spinning in the breeze like a pin wheel and within minutes i had drifted within 30 feet of the shore. After trying to fish for 1 hour and having to restart my boat 4 times to get back to my original spot, i gave up. When i got back to pay for the boat, i was still charged full price even though i couldn't fish and i was given a pc. of shit boat. Also,when i got back in, another man was coming in after being out for only 1 hr., he had the same problem as me. Now, I'm going on the 4 Facebook fishing related pages and spreading the word, its not right to rip people off like that, especially when you've had complaints and you refuse to fix the problem!! read more

I went with my husband and son on a Sunday afternoon, we did not reserve a space, so the area for campers was full when we got there. We were only there for the afternoon, and it left a lot to be desired. The grounds were unkept and dirty with debris, and the area that was available for swimming was small in comparison to the swimmers in the lake. People brought there dogs into the swimming area along with an already crowded area with kids. Even our son was disconcerted with how dirty the water was. In my opinion the ride from Los Angeles was more attractive than the destination. We were very disappointed with this lake. I think it is much better suited for boating and jet skiing activities. read more

I came here with family for a day and had a wonderful time hanging out, laughing, swimming, reading... you know with all the other dirty brown people the other reviewers are complaining about. My kids loved it, my son swam further then he ever had before and we were so proud, despite the white family sitting nearby staring like we were wild animals. I've camped her 3 or 4 times in the past 15 years. During the summer months, you are going to see more of what people are complaining about in previous posts. During the spring months (April and May), it's really nice but the nights can get REALLY cold and the lake isn't swimmable. So pick your poison, I suppose. Possibly June would be the best time? LOL. Fire restrictions often go into effect by mid-Sept which means no campfires. It's become quite the spot for day use, but again, see previous posts for complaints. read more

Had an especially great experience with the staff at Silverwood Lake ,CA. Took my boat out on the lake and had a wonderful experience with the staff. Very polite and friendly at the entrance point; launch ramp and parking very clean and in good repair. Can't say the same for my boat, I broke down at opposite end of lake in high winds and resultant rough chop. Ranger came to the rescue and both rangers were pleasant and very helpful. No guilt trips; just professional and efficient. Highest recommendations! read more

I really like this lake. Close to home and pretty easy to get in if your an early bird. Easy to launch your boat and jet skis. The only thing is if you want to get reservation for camping overnight you must make them months in advance. That is the only downfall.. Book in advance for camping!!! That is key.. Many of these reviews made me laugh as I read through them. First of all, many of the people who visited the lake did so on a holiday weekend: Memorial, Fourth of July, Labor Day. These are all days to avoid the lake. Actually, any weekend during the summer can turn a happy family trip into a miserable nightmare. These are all days that Silverwood Lake usually goes to park closure and the remainder of the people who get locked out end up walking in off the highway. This is just a small taste of the crowds that you will come across if you come here on these days. Yes, most of the visitors that travel to the park are Hispanic and in most cases, these are the same people who care little for the comfort of those around them. Complaints are common and there is little that can be done. Come during the week. Take the day off and spend the day. As for the trash issue, the state has cut the funding for maintenance personnel which makes it nearly impossible to keep the beaches cleaned. I have been forced on many occasions to clean up a beach when I'm just visiting for the day. So, when visiting, please clean up your garbage when you're done. The campground gets extremely busy during the summer weekends. Reservations are required at least six months in advance. A bit ridiculous but it's the states decision to put them on the reservation system and people make them that far in advance. The park has no first come first serve system so if you come on a weekend looking to camp, you will be turned away. Plan in advance. The campground does tend to have loud and rowdy crowds. Some weekends are worse then others, but again, make reservations for during the week and you will have the campground almost entirely to yourself. The lack of funding has made it nearly impossible for any rangers to be on duty during the hours that most people are the worst. Quiet time starts at 10pm but no one seems to heed this. Reservations are not available for day use so if you're coming on a hot weekend, get there early, once the parking lots fill up, you will be turned away. Boat reservations are available and practically required on weekends during the summer months. Don't get stuck in line for hours. Quagga mussel inspections are ongoing at Silverwood. So far, Silverwood has remained uninfected and the inspections are to insure this. If you have done the homework on this invasive species then you would understand why this is important. The damage these things can do would be devastating. Boats are required to be clean, drained and completely dry. No oil or water will be allowed in a boat in the park. Especially coming from an infected body of water. True, the trash is a nuisance but the mussels would be a much bigger disaster. Green algae is a common occurrence on the water but it just means the lake is healthy. The warmer the water, the more algae they tend to get. This year, the algae was relatively low and their were rarely any complaints about it. The wind is a constant ordeal at Silverwood. It usually picks up at around 10 am and will last until 7:30pm during the summer. If the wind persists past 7:30pm then it will last until the night. If you come to this park, be prepared to deal with wind. There are speed limits on the lake, which was probably why some people speeding on their boats got dirty looks. They were probably speeding through a five mile per hour zone. Read the rules before anyone takes out a boat to avoid that kind of thing in the future. The people at the front entrance are friendly and knowledgeable and usually go out of their way to find a solution to a complaint or problem. They do what they can with what little they have. read more

I just went camping here and it is beautiful. We reserved 2 nights. Basically you bring all your own stuff to camp. They provide a bathroom, showers that you have to pay, a fire pit and a BBQ grill. Oh and the lake of course. Which is not to far from the campground. You just go hiking and you reach the lake. Its pretty much private. There was only one other couple with there kid there and us. And other people across the lake from us. Its just so peaceful there during the weekday. And towards the weekend when we were about to leave it got really busy and noisy. First it started with 5 other campers next thing you know it was full. Thank god we left when it got busy. I definitely recommend going on the weekday if you want peace and quiet. Also if you drive a little further down from your campsite there's a place where you can rent boats, seadoos, Kayaks and paddle boats. There's also lifeguards and a snack shop. Its a little bit busier there. We rented a little boat for $36 an hour and $6 after that. We only rented it for 2. It was fun but a little rocky and scary. Next time I'm going to rent the bigger boats and leave the dogs at the campsite. This is a great place for couples and families. Your kids will love it there and there not going to want to go home. Its just great without distractions like the T.V., computer, games, radio, and cell phone. I am definitely going back there. read more

We had a big lot #82 that we shared with our friends, we had a tent, they had an RV Plenty of room but not all the lots are like this.Generators go off at 8-ish and it's pretty quiet after 10, even if you might still hear people talking or laughing. Depends on what neighbors you have, there might be loud music during the day if there's group of teenagers or a lot of BBQ smoke if there is a family reunion or something, we had both but nothing over the top. Restrooms are pretty clean, better than other campgrounds we've seen. Went down to the marina and rented a fishing aluminum boat, about $50-60. Go in the morning when there are no waves, we had big waves around and after noon and it feels really unsafe. There is a small store that sells snacks, bait and inflatable devices. Some trails for hiking too, but most people bring their own food, music and some kind of floating device and have fun in the water. You can also rent pontoons and Sea-Doo's on the lake or bring your own boat. You can beach on one of the small, inaccessible small patches of sand around the lake and spend the whole day there, this is what we might do next time. The address or looking the campground by name is kind of hard to find, mark it on your phone's google map and get "directions to here". Couldn't check in since I didn't have reception there on ATT except a single spot in the campground and some in the middle of the lake but Verizon has pretty good signal there. read more

Very Mad, I was out on the water in my boat and some lady hit my trailer in the parking lot while I was on the water, Some guy saw the whole thing happen and told the ranger he saw a lady hit me ranger went and spoke to her and DID NOT A DAM THING!!! The guy who saw the lady hit me wrote her info down and stuck it on my car window, The witness asked the ranger why he did not call a supervisor and he replied they are too busy!!! So long story short after I called the Rangers the following day and made a report they said sorry we can do anything?!?!?! The lady hit and run and I have her plates and you can't do anything??? Made reservations to take our boat out on the lake on a Sunday. Got there around 7am. Was easy to get on the lake. The lake was pretty empty at this time. After about an hour though, every cool spot we saw we went to and a bunch of Mexicans were hiding out in them and tons of trash all over the place. Buckets, cups, plastic bags, you name it, it was floating in the water. Plus, the water is full of algae and looks disgusting to get into. After a couple hours the place became packed. Thankfully we weren't planning on staying all day and weren't wanting to find a place to bbq at because we would have been out of luck to find a place to chill. There was NO shade anywhere. People were hanging out on big rocks and fishing and giving us the "evil eye" when we would cruise by their fishing spots. And speaking of fishing, it was horrible! Didn't catch anything....but that is not surprising since all the trash probably killed the fish in the lake. Also, they spend so much time being concerned about the Quagga Muscles, but I am sure the trash does more damage than they do. They need to spend more time cleaning the lake than worrying about the muscles. We only stayed about 4 hours total since we couldn't handle all the excitement this lake had to offer.....(sarcasm here). I would not waste my time or money to come here ever again! read more

I've been going to Silverwood since I was a teenager and now take my kids there. We've been camping there every year, but will not be going back after this last experience. All boats require an inspection for mussels and we've never had problems before. Working for the State, you'd think they'd have some sort of testing kit or Prior Use Declaration form (required by the state), but they did not. Our boat had not been in the water for one full year, where it had been tagged by Big Bear and since then was verifiably in storage. One phone call to our storage facility could've proven that. We took it out, washed it down with hose water and because some of the hose water was still in the prop (it was evident the boat had not been in the water, the engine and inside of the boat were BONE DRY), we were not allowed to launch. The cop was nice, believed my husband, called his boss, but they still would not allow us to launch. Red tagged the boat and would not allow reinspection for 7 days. RIDICULOUS. Waste of gas, waste of money, waste of time and the kids were very disappointed. To boot, the employees at check-in were rude and made a mistake assigning the wrong campsite. However, it's the campsite we normally reserve. We had asked for it. Later that evening, the employee came by the campsite and my husband mentioned the boat situation again and asked if there were any way they could reinspect, that the boat was dry and it was only tap water in it to begin with. She snapped back with "yes, in 7 days". Then she said they made a mistake and asked everyone to move campsites and was very rude about it. By that time my husband was exasperated. He told her you just keep kicking us while we're down - a vacation, ruined. Boat reservations paid for - and unable to be used although our boat is clean as a whistle. (did I mention no refunds?) And then they want to move everyone out of the campsite after everything has been set up. He put his foot down and said NO. We usually enjoy the lake because it's close to home. It's been better in a motorhome, even though there are no hookups as the bathrooms can get nasty and short on TP by the end of the day. It can get windy and sometimes the lake gets a little green, but the good always outweighed the bad until this trip. After the treatment received this time, we will never go back. We will go back to Havasu. The employees at Silverwood should take a class on how to treat people. read more

Poor Lake Silverwood it has become the high deserts toilet. In all seriousness, Lake Silverwood used to be a nice place, but not anymore. Seriously, the place itself is beautiful; it's the people that patronize it that make it disgusting. In all honesty, it's hard to handle seeing so many rude, obnoxious and oblivious people and it if Lake Silverwood somehow indicates the direction of society, watch out! On a warm day one is likely to hear tons of blasting music, dirty diapers laying around, kids everywhere as well as some of the shadiest people you will ever see. The only time I enjoy Silverwood Lake is in the wintertime when most visitors seem to stay away, otherwise it's a place to visit only if you have patience and can stand being around people with no scruples. read more

We just spent a Friday and Saturday night in the Mesa Campground. The campground itself is okay. There's a decent amount of shade but the sites are directly on top of each other. We never did make it down to the lake because it got very crowded. The don't seem to stick to the 8 person rule per site and we had very rude neighbors that blasted their music well past curfew. The one blessing was that the campground emptied out during the day and it was pleasantly peaceful. We had an okay time, but probably won't be back. read more

This lake is ok! The water is clean enough to be in. The convenience is horrible is you have a jet ski. There are literally no tables nearby to have access to to keep your jet ski close you literally have to load up your jet ski and with your ice chest and belongings and find a spot beyond the lake then come back for the rest of your family. The patrol is good did not hassle us like at Bonelli. Its not great but it's not bad either. The only lake close enough that won't harass us for having fun read more
