We have not made a decision yet but left here after a pleasant experience. Buzz is awesome. He took the time to walk us around and show us what we might like. He tried to stay under our tow weight limit and explained what all of the different numbers meant as we asked about the trailers. He was knowledgeable, polite, and even made the teenager smile. We dropped off our RV for a simple yearly inspection which they wants $450 a week went by we received a call that it would be another week 3 weeks later they still haven't done the inspection so we decided to pick up our RV & take it back home the next day we called a mobile RV mechanic made an appointment he came out did the inspection in 1.5 hr paid him less than what affordable RV wanted this was not the first time this happened the first time we took our RV for repair we waited a month and an half. Dropped my dump trailer off at Affordable RV almost a month ago for what should've been a quick fix and a couple upgrades. Little did I know it would be parked longer than a retired RV in a trailer park. Not once in a service bay--just sitting there like it was on a meditation retreat. As for the price? Let's just say the only thing affordable was the sign out front. I finally went and picked it up, did the repairs myself with a buddy in under an hour--with tools, brains, and zero invoices. When I showed up to get it, the place was emptier than a campground in a blizzard. If service had a speed, this one would be reverse. We bought are trailer at I 15 Rv no problem there. But when we did the inspection with Michell at the part department affordable rv we did let her know that the window was scratched up and the bathroom door wasn't good. She said she go make the call before the forest river warranty closed so she can order the door and window. When I called the warranty few days after I found out she never reported the window only the bathroom door. Had to talk to Robert the sale manager he finally got them to call up and take care of it. We'll long story short I was wondering what happened to the door and the window I talked to Robert he called me back and he was told they came in round memorial day weekend. I found out from forest river warranty Jason and Victoria received my window and door on the 12th and the 15th 2 weeks later no call I went up Victoria gave a bull excuse and they said the appointment is 2 months out for brand new trailer I called up forest river warranty complained and I was able to pick up my window and the door Wednesday the 3rd bring my trailer to major rv fixedvit in 2 days. I will put 0 stars on affordable RV but you have to put something so it's a 1 I rather put 0. I'd bought (and returned) six that *almost* fit from Amazon, but nothing beats bringing the old part in and getting quick service and a loaner to take out in the parking lot to see if it worked. The service and parts department are excellent. We had a recall on our Keystone toy hauler. We scheduled an appointment to drop it off and told them we had an upcoming trip planned in two weeks. Even with needing to order parts they managed to have it ready for pickup within12 days, just in time for our trip. Great customer service, kept us updated during the entire process. We've had to take in our 5th wheel for service so many times and it's nothing but a headache with these guys. Affordable RV installed our baseplate, coiled cable, complete wiring, lights and tow bar and brakes. The complete tow system wiring. We used the tow 2 times and the electrical wires to the tow install started to melt due to faulty wiring. The reason we were able to catch the issue before it caused a fire in my jeep engine is because the coil got hot. I called the RV place and took it down. They said that it wasn't their work the wiring!!!! Made all kinds of accusations repeating not taking responsibility for their work. I told them the invoice shows it's their work. They still kept saying it wasn't their work and that someone else did it. I gave them the coil and during the next phone call they said there were cuts in the coil. Fortunately I have pictures before bringing the coil to them. This is illegal to lie and not take responsibility for their workmanship Very unethical business. This is going up to the manager. Let's hope they change their tune and fix their faulty work. Further legal action will be taken as I would not want someone else to endure this type of unethical practices. read more

Horrible Service! I made an appointment to bring my trailer in for some warranty items to get repaired. They originally told me it would take about 4 weeks because they were a little busy. After 4 weeks went by, I kept calling for updates and they kept pushing the finish date back. I finally told them after 10 weeks that I have a schedule camping trip and I need my trailer. The rushed and fixed a couple of safety items and told me I will have to bring it back for the rest of the work to get done. I schedule another appointment to bring it in and I got the same run around. After all is said and done, they did a horrible job fixing some items and told me they did not get authorization to fix my other warranty issues. Do not waste your time with this business! read more

We took our brand new rv in to be fixed because the slide stopped working only 3 months after we bought it and only after one use. They were extremely unprofessional and argumentative with me and my husband. Once we got the rv back, we took it out close to home to test it and discovered our toilet had been used. There was piss stains all over the seat and floor and there was poop in the tank when we flushed it. We had not used the bathroom previously. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. I will only use them because we have a warranty through them unfortunately. Do not use them if you can help it. read more

If I could give them a minus*I would. They're very friendly it took a very long time to get an appointment. When I finally did receive an appointment I took my vehicle in and was immediately talked in to a $380 inspection fee. I wanted two things done I wanted my generator checked and To have my refrigerator repaired. I waited two weeks and was called that my vehicle is ready to pick up. I was charged $499 for the inspection and was told that my refrigerator was repaired and I would need to have $2100 more work to be done. That was of course an estimate. My Refrigerator did not work and another problem that I had pointed out was not taken care of until I picked up the vehicle and pointed out that it had not been taken care of. I have a lot more to say about this but I don't believe there's room or more. Overall I would not recommend this service at all. read more

This is my opinion of Affordable RV to continue on Saleena W rating. I am 63 years old. I just retired in Nov 2021. My kids have invited me to go camping with them for years and due to my career it was impossible. I've been in auto repair for over 20 years. Being retired I finally took them up on their offer and went camping Thanksgiving 2021. What fun it was and I committed to doing it as much as possible. We stayed in their 2014 fifth wheel. I'm old an was a little uncomfortable. Out of the goodness of their hearts, when we return they went a purchased a $90,000.00 fifth wheel from Affordable RV so I would be a little more comfortable. It is beautiful but we found a few things wrong. Under warranty they dropped it off for repair in January 2022. We have missed 3 outings due to the extremely shitty service. I've done it and most would take care of the repair and deal with the warranty later and not screw the customer. Unbelievable the lack of service they have provided. I'm in the market for my own RV but would never use Affordable based on my kid's experience. I reside in a senior community here in the high desert and on the HOA board. Not once but twice I was provided with astonishing customer care by a member of the team at AffordablelRV High Desert. First, through telephone contact, and a week later, upon my visit to the parts dept. The member answered the phone (my first contact) and took down the information I gave him to let him know what I was looking for. He asked me to wait while he searched for the parts I was seeking. After he searched and could not find them, he gave me tips on where I could go to continue my search. We ended up purchasing a travel trailer. It was on sale. We felt comfortable with the staff that helped us. He was very personable. Sales department was a little too much. Didn't really make us feel comfortable with our original purchase. Kept up-selling, and telling us to "listen" to his offer, after we stated several times we wanted what we wanted. The facility is very dirty, not very clean. Dingy walls, and windows. It's an old place that is not kept up very well. However, we are happy with our trailer, they have a discount with the repair shop, which will end up being helpful when we do repair work in the future. Overall, would I recommend this dealer? I would say, shop around and come knowledgable before your purchase. We chose them to support local businesses up here in the desert. After getting empty promises and the runaround from an authorized Thor dealership (Giant RV, Colton), who refused to complete a safety recall on my 2008 Fourwinds Hurricane Motorhome. I reached out to Affordable RV and spoke with Bobbie, she did not give me the runaround at all, she was more than happy to help me out. Bobbie contacted Thor directly and coordinated having the recall part shipped to Affordable RV, and called me with a date to bring my motorhome in to perform the safety recall. If it weren't for Bobbie my motorhome would still be non-op and nothing but a big paperweight in my yard. Even though I explained to Giant RV that this motorhome used to belong to an uncle who has since passed away and it had great sentimental value, I still received empty promises and the runaround. We had problems with our 2002 Montana 5th wheel. Needed new jacks, and a solenoid for the hydraulic system for our slides. Jacks were not a problem but they had a heck of a time finding a solenoid, it is not made any more. If we had to put in a whole new system $6000.!! Wow they found one that would work!! They gave us a great deal as cash buyers and Taylor or sales guys was great. Chris did the paperwork and he was sweet as can be. I am very happy with what we got. The service from affordable RV was amazing. J R did our orientation and was very knowledgeable about everything. I am really clueless and he was so great at taking his time and explaining everything at my level. I was surprised at the prices in their store because they are much cheaper than larger stores down the hill. They offer 15 percent off of your store purchase when you buy an RV. Never again! They said it would take about 3 weeks.. 3 months later we still don't have our trailer. Josh didn't know what he was doing what so ever.. we have INSURANCE he "couldn't get ahold" of our insurance so he never ordered the part. We bought are trailer here and took it in for our 6 month check to keep our warranty. They kept it for a month, paid $150. Once we picked it up it was all dusty with Cob webs, we took hours to wash it before we dropped it off too. They could not even rinse it off after having it for a month. Another problem we has was on our first trip they said they did a "full inspection", but our hot water didn't work out in the middle of the desert. They didn't do their job. read more
