We were referred to Dream Stone by another satisfied customer in our neighborhood. We selected…read morethem to install new countertops and backsplashes after investigating numerous candidates. The price we were offered was lower than the competition, and the quality of the installation was excellent. We chose our materials from an outside provider, and this was not a problem. Our service representative, Michael Childress, worked with us from start to finish and was always available to answer all of our questions along the way. Two slabs was all that was required to complete the countertops, full back splashes, and breakfast counter. There was even enough material remaining to do a bathroom vanity, and a (free) cutting board. See attached pictures.

We had Dream Stone install our kitchen countertops and a massive kitchen island, and every detail was so perfectly executed - I love the way the corners and edges look, and overhang were better than I envisioned. We cannot say enough good about the quality of work from Dream Stone - they were able to understand our timeline and help us meet those priorities (came prepared prior to our meeting for a quote), was consultative and gave great advice (material, how to finish out construction, etc.), and post-install, was still incredibly responsive and helped us make a slight adjustment on one of the edges. They knocked it out of the park in every way (pricing, reliability, responsiveness, professionalism, honest workmanship) and we look forward to working with them again and again. TL;DR: Happy with our experience…read more I'm always nervous about projects around the house and the people we hire to do the projects. My husband and I met with a few different bathroom remodeling companies to change out our uneven shower stall that pooled a lot of water to the side of the shower and therefore didn't drain. We decided to go with Rodney at Full Circle Kitchen & Bath. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate for the same day that we called him. When he arrived, he gave us a flat base price for the shower stall and the labor, and then told us how much the extra shelving, seat, and grab bar we wanted would cost on top of the base price. Once we called Rodney to tell him we wanted to move forward with the project, he sent us a contract to review via email within about a day. After we reviewed the contract and agreed to it, he visited our house again to sign the contract, collect the downpayment for supplies and re-measure the shower stall. Rodney uses Sentrel products for the showers he installs including the showers he installed at his own house. He ordered the Sentrel shower stall and other accessories and once those arrived, he called to schedule installation for that same week. Rodney is eager to start working early in the morning at 7am. He only works on one project at a time and doesn't split his time between clients, so there aren't half-finished projects that sit for days or weeks at a time when you hire him. He works weekends as well as weekdays. Rodney is prompt to answer questions via email and phone. My husband and I stayed home while Rodney and his assistant worked on the shower stall. They covered the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Rodney is a serious worker that strives to do a good job. He told us every time he was going to shut the water off and for how long it would be off, so we could prepare for that. He called us over to look at any strange house issues that would interrupt the progress and to get our opinions about how to proceed. We had a very uneven floor, floor joists too spaced apart, waterpipes that were coming up through the shower floor instead of behind the wall, and a giant hole carved out of one of the floor beams for the drainpipe. The new shower handle was defective and leaking, so Rodney put in a temporary handle for us to use the shower until the company sends a replacement that he can swap out. Also, he showed us how to change the handle ourselves if at some point in the future we decide that we want a new handle or need a new cartridge. Additionally, the previous owners had put up tile around the old shower stall on the walls that we wanted to keep if possible. Rodney was able to save that for us. Rodney also uses the expensive silicone sealant so there shouldn't be mold growth and we shouldn't have to re-caulk. He used Pex pipes to replace the copper pipes that were coming in at weird angles. We haven't used the shower yet as we're waiting for the sealant to dry completely, but I'm feeling good about the experience we had and am glad we hired Rodney.

Rodney partnered with Quality Stone in Virginia Beach, and their service--from selection to installation--was superb. Rodney provided a very fair price and handled every detail, including removing the bar, relocating an outlet, replacing 3 other outlets and installing a new sink and faucet. He even suggested a beautiful backsplash tile and helped me replace a 15-year-old over-the-range microwave with a new Whirlpool at a great price. Rodney is incredibly reliable, punctual, and truly available seven days a week. I highly recommend Full Circle Kitchen and Bath and will definitely call them for out next project

When the carpet came in to be installed, the carpet padding was the value option, not at all what he led me to believe and very thin. No padding at all! At that point all of our old carpet had been ripped out, all our furniture moved, and I felt trapped and went ahead with the install. Additionally I had my bathroom floors redone and he never let me know he was using 3/4" round instead of 1/2". It is huge and looks horrible in such a tiny space. The Cortek rep confirmed that 3/4" was recommended but not necessary. This was never discussed. We waited 10 years to be able to have this work done and all I want to do is cry about the results. Buyer beware, I should have held his feet to the fire but he seemed so trustworthy . The only positive thing I can say is that his installers do a fantastic job.

Warning to Virginia Beach Neighbors Regarding JES Foundation Repair…read more I am a senior citizen living in the local area. Last year, I paid JES Foundation Repair $22,000 for their top-of-the-line crawlspace encapsulation and joist stabilization to ensure my newly purchased home was structurally sound. The inspector explicitly told me everything else was perfect and to ignore any future inspectors who suggested I needed more work. Fast forward to last week: a different JES inspector came out and found a foundation sag that they completely missed last year--and they handed me a bill for thousands more to fix it. When I tried to contact local management to resolve this clear oversight, they avoided my calls and have ignored my formal emails. Please be incredibly careful using this company, especially my fellow seniors. They do not stand behind their work once they have your money.

So the idea of a permanent planted arrangement seemed like something perfect for the patio. McDonald's was contacted over the phone a week + out before Mother's Day. I worked with Patrice who emailed different ideas they could do from pots to plants etc. He was so passionate about his trade and left me even more excited that he alone would be the point. Ultimately hydrangeas was chosen as the plant with sweet potatoes. They had many pots to choose from, but a more neutral with a butterfly seemed perfect. The cost was $97. Patrice assured that the plant would be watered and ready for pick up days before Mother's Day. On Saturday I went to McDonald's and after locating Patrice he rolled the plant out. I must say I was overwhelmed with the size. It was huge and gorgeous! Patrice did a video of care instructions as he took ownership of seeing everything through. He also at no charge through in a ceramic tray to hep with transport, but also for any leakage of water with a weep hole at the bottom. The delivery was marvelous and enjoyed by Mom. I cannot say enough positive about this experience. Other staff assisted me and were helpful and enthusiastic about their job. You just don't see this in other big box places ole Lowes and Home Depot. McDonald's is a one stop locally owned since 1947 garden center. They can do it all and the visit is impressive to see the selections. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about Custom Stone. The end result was exquisite, but that was the least remarkable part of my experience. In today's times when customer service is extinct and businesses have lost sight of the fact that it is the customer who ultimately keep them in business or that you should have pride in what you do and strive to do your best everyday, somehow Custom Stone has managed to keep all of these things in the forefront of doing business. In fact, I didn't realize it until I was writing this review, but on their website under "About Us" they display their mission statement. It says "we take pride in our extraordinary craftsmanship, attention to detail..." and that is spot on. They strive for excellence and they definitely hit the mark, if not surpass it. From the start, working with Jane was a dream. She listened to all the nuances of what I was looking to achieve and then went to work pulling samples and taking photos of the samples with white cabinet doors to give me a true sense of what could be. She really listened to me as I explained the look I was going for, as well as the things I didn't like and why. She gave constructive feedback on options but was never pushy or impatient as I mulled over hundreds of possibilities. She pointed out things to consider, such as natural lighting and how it may bring out different colors in the granite at different times of the day, that I would have never thought of nor would any other consultant have taken the time to mention because she knew it would be important long term on how satisfied I would be with the finished product. When I had concerns about certain asthetics, she sent me photos as examples of the feature, process or hardware to alleviate my concerns, which underscored their experience, knowleldge and expertise in the field. It took me weeks to finalize my countertop selection, the finishes and edging preference -- changing my mind several times. Jane stayed patient, attentive and committed to my overall satisfaction, despite her workload and hectic schedule juggling similar jobs for other clients. I'm a stickler for customer service and communication. It's my pet peeve. On top of that, I'm VERY particular. I'd give Custom Stone an A+, which seldom happens for me. Dominick was my installer and fabricator. He was outstanding, knowledgeable and meticulous. His workmanship and the pride he has in doing excellent work is exemplary. There was a mistake made on one of my slabs which created a less than perfect fit around my sink. Any other company's installers would have tweaked the fit as much as possible and continued to install it hoping the customer didn't notice especially when it meant they'd have to take the blame for the error and the company would lose money if they had to buy a new slab and recut the piece. Not to mention that redoing the fabrication would mean additional days before completing the install and a possible irate customer due to the delay. Despite the potential for negative consequences, Dominick immediately made me aware of the issue, called to make his company aware so they could secure a new slab of quartz ASAP and went into resolution mode. He rearranged his subsequent installs to ensure the piece was recut correctly and that he was the one who finished the job and that I was satisfied with the end product. If you are looking to have new counters installed or or any other stonework, Custom Stone is who you want to trust your money, time and home with. They are one of the few remaining businesses that handle every aspect of the job. They consult, assess/measure, cut the stone and install it. In order to ensure they give the best quality product, craftmanship and service possible from beginning to end, no piece of the work is subbed out to a subcontractor, as is the standard practice of most competitors today. They have the utmost integrity and professionalism. I can't thank Custom Stone enough for a job that is absolutely stunning -- and their prices were lower than the 3 or 4 other major competitors in the area despite the fact that I ended up picking a fairly expensive quartz. They also have their own employees who do the work, not subs, so you get to know them. They are easy to work with and I thought the price was very reasonable considering how much they did. I would definitely hire Marjo's again.

Sean, the estimator, came out right away, gave us a quote, and they had the project started the very next week super fast and smooth process. Kyle, the foreman, was great the entire time. He answered all of my questions and made sure any concerns were handled. The crew even took the time to put back the bricks they had to remove and fixed any grass/areas they disturbed, which I really appreciated. This was not an easy job, but they got it done quickly and professionally. Overall, an amazing team and I would highly recommend them!

She took us to stone places to select the stone for our countertop. She guided us through the selection and colors of the cabinets. She was always available for any questions we may have had. She scheduled all the people doing all the other work, plumbing, sheetrock, electrical and installation of the cabinets, floor and backsplash. They were all there on the scheduled times and days and completed on time. All the work was done to perfection. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen.
