These guys are awesome! I found out I had a crack in my wheel after thinking I only had a leak in the tire. I looked up where I could get this repaired and found Custom Wheel Refinishing. I spoke to Joe there and he really helped walk me through the process. Thankfully I went on a slower day for them and they were able to get me out of there within 1 hour with a repaired wheel. They also found bends in the rim which they fixed for no additional charge. Overall, they did a great job with this project and I am looking forward to bringing all 4 wheels to them in the future to have them cleaned up from the curb rash that have been put on them over the years. read more

I bought a brand new car and my rim got scratched on the curb. I thought there was no way my rim could be fixed on my BMW and I was going to have to buy a new one. It was a bad day when I hit a pot hole that damaged both my tire and my wheel. As a newer car that I lease, Honda said that it would only replace not fix and that came to over $600 for the wheel alone. Completely dissatisfied with that solution I asked if there were any other options. I was actually told by my Honda representative to go to this location instead to see if they could straightened out both dents in my wheel. He himself had taken his wheel there when it had cracked and was happy with the results. After calling around it seemed to be the best option and to be honest the most friendly. No appointment needed to be seen and that was so nice due to my busy schedule. I arrived around 3pm and less than an hour later Juan had already fixed my rim. I was able to see exactly what he was going to be doing and he explained it all before he did anything to calm my nerves a bit. I know that with anything there can always be a chance of it cracking but he assured me that he could fix it. Andre was helpful as well. He showed me how my tire was not salvageable as well. It had bubbles and had a hole that you just can't fix. I appreciate the time they took to actually show me instead of just saying something. I am not really an expert on anything mechanical so I appreciate them being open and upfront. A true humble business. So, after finding out that my tire was no good, Andre called around to see if he could order one for the following day. Sadly my exact tire was backordered but he found a comparable tire that would do the job. Thankfully I called around to the Honda dealership down the street and they had one in stock. Andre said that if I go pick it up he will have it installed so that all my tires match. It worked out perfectly and in just over an hour I had my wheel fixed, new tire, and it was installed back on my car. I HIGHLY suggest coming here if you want honest, hardworking, and a true fix to your wheel issues. No shaking since I have driven my car and it looks perfect next to the others. These guys hooked me up with a gloss finish on my factory wheels. Andre was cool. Initially I wanted the kidney grills done too, but he was transparent and told me the paint would probably chip off of the chrome over time. The way I came across this company is that a couple of the wheels on our car, suffered some road rash and I took the wheels to another location in San Fernando Valley, where they told me they would repair the wheel, but all they did was paint the wheel, needless to say after a couple car washes I noticed the patches of paint starting to come off. I typically do not write reviews, but I have to for this establishment. I hit a pot hole and bent my two front rims. I have a custom color on my rims and there is no paint code to match the color. The color of my rims are a blueish, gray color. I could not find any other place that could color match until I found Custom Wheel. I dropped off my car Thursday morning and the car was ready Friday morning. Andre even pressured washed and detailed my rear wheels as well for no extra cost. I found this place on here on YELP and thought I would give it a try since its close to home. I have an old 1974 Toyota Celica that has steel wheels that needed repainting. I was quoted a price after being asked what the application was being used for. When I returned to pick up the wheels, they looked nice from a far. After careful inspection, i noticed they did not sand some areas of the wheel and the paint has runs/blemishes. There was also over spray. When I inquired, He told me- "I asked you what you were using the wheels for. Based on that, I quoted you a price. I am not repainting these wheels." He did agree to touch them up - but the blemishes are still present. I wish I could post pictures here so you can see. I am not satisfied with the way this job was done, handled AND not corrected. Went to see Andre and Phil at Custom Wheel Refinishing after a giant pothole on the 5 freeway in Burbank. Recommended by the boys at Western Tire (Burbank), I headed over there and talked to Andre about the bent rim, and he explained all options. He quickly made a few phone calls to see if they could find a used replacement so that I had an option to repairing the wheel. He also explained that there was a chance that the alloy could crack, so that I had that in mind prior to taking a cent from me. (If it cracked, no charge). I picked up the wheel today, less than 24 hours later and they reinstalled it on the car. NO PROBLEMS. Wheel rides like new- no shake in the front end (as that was a possibility he explained before we got started) and I was outta there in under 5 minutes. They also refinish wheels too.
