I called Anion after reading a stellar review from a colleague of mine (we are real estate brokers at the same brokerage, so our sphere is always sharing referrals for home-based projects). Each person I dealt with at Anion impressed me, starting with the very first phone call and ending with installation. Anion is a family-ran business, offering a noticeably more personable customer experience than dealing with larger big-name companies. They also provided me with the most competitive quote. Lucas came by for my original quote. I had only a very vague idea of what I wanted -- but he seemed to know exactly what I was trying to convey. He knows his stuff. He brought samples of several types of options, giving me the ability to confidently move forward. And - when I obsessed over the many shades of white options (ha) for a certain window covering, he so graciously agreed to come back with his swatches a second time to be sure I was getting just what I wanted. My installation could not have gone more smoothly, either. Rob is a true professional with an eye as precise as mine. He was enjoyable to speak with and I immediately knew I was in good hands! He has been installing window coverings for several years and it shows. He went the extra mile in more than one way and - though very efficient with time - I never felt the work was being rushed. One in particular stood out: Instead of gathering people to interact in three separate areas of the room, i.e., Bar, T.V., or Card Table, all separated by furniture layout, why not open up the entire room to include EVERYONE?! Brilliant!...and it didn't cost us a single penny for that advice. Yep! Candy was our gal! Considering the many textures in the room (Wisconsin Stone fireplace and wet bar, wood paneling throughout...with the exception of an entire wall of dark cabinets and shelves, ceramic tile and carpeting) her suggestions were music to my ears...especially when she suggested her ideas on the perfect window treatments to pull it all together! However, Candy had her work cut out for her as my husband wasn't as open to change and suspected he was being lead directly toward a major transformation. lol! Remarkably, Candy took his skepticism into consideration, exercising a patience I often times fall short , and easily worked with us both. After replacing our furniture, painting the paneling, cabinets, ceiling, cocktail and end tables, installing vinyl floating tiles, carpeting & widow treatments, our room was totally transformed! Not only did Candy open up the room & create an environment suggesting we "Come on in and stay a while", the new room layout directed our focus toward our beautiful yard that is seen through a set of double glass sliding doors on either side of a wall now housing our oversized TV Screen. In addition to being treated to a welcoming site when entering the room, we are now enjoying the beautiful outdoors while watching TV. This, by the way, was the most challenging for my husband because he was so accustomed to watching sports/programs while facing the fireplace. So happy he came around to our way of thinking! The transformation of our home makes us feel like we're living in our very own Bed & Breakfast and we don't have to leave home to experience its comforts & serenity somewhere else. I now take my coffee or cocktail (depending upon the time of day ) to my sofa, sit back to absorb our beautiful surroundings, and thank the Good Lord for reminding us..."Its a Wonderful Life"!
