Jeremy and Stacey were so nice and great to talk to in person, in the end I feel duped by them. Jeremy seemed like he was down to earth and ready to make things happen, he often offered fixtures and things that he had pulled from gut-jobs. He seemed like he was down to problem solve and make things happen. I trusted them and was really excited in the beginning. I was pregnant with my first child when I hired them to do our bathroom. My kid is now 19 months old and the work is still not finished. I don't even have the energy to truly outline all of my complaints. The biggest issue I have is that they have refused my calls and emails and ghosted me for a year now. I have been nothing but kind and respectful. I delayed this review to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for them to get back to me or finish the work. I am so upset and disappointed - I really wish I had NEVER done this. I feel like I wasted over 50k and had a bad job done. There is ONE outlet in the entire space, the switches and outlet seem to be writed insanely (I still can't tell what goes to what and why the switch at the bottom of the stairs overrides some things but not others), theres a hanging exhaust fan, no vent to the roof, gaps between trim and tiles, hammered and mismatched fixtures. They convinced me I should get a custom vanity made by them because it was the only one that would fit and be ready on time, which cost more than the one that I really wanted and by the time they made it I could have gotten the one I really wanted from West Elm. I had to contract my own stone cutter and they generously came back and forth multiple timess over the course of a week because the bradley built project manager couldn't communicate correctly about who was responsible for doing what and when. Their employees were constantly quitting or being let go. One day, the contracted tiler came to my house and demanded to be paid because Bradley Built had gotten into an argument with him about the cost and then they just hadn't paid him? Who knows, because of course they didn't answer phones or emails for weeks on end. But I was stuck in the middle of it! They tout their communication and transparency and pride in their finishing work, they took over 9 months to do the bulk of the work and then ghosted me. Leaving me with a newborn and a shower that I had to connect myself and now I am finally giving up, writing this review, and calling all over town finding electricians, roofers, tilers and plumbers to finish the job they were paid to do. It was my first experience as a homeowner working with a contractor and it lived up to ALL of the horror stories. Unless you're rolling in money, and can be their number one priority I guess they just don't care. Makes me really sad. I would love a simple apology, honestly.

He was recommended by our architects who were friends of ours, so unfortunately, we trusted the source. We provided him with a deposit in the amount of $4000 for the bed and $4000 for the doors. He made some visits, took measurements, and then never returned our calls and just kept our money...just as simple as that. We consequently sued and won by default as he never showed up to any court dates, nor made any contact with us despite our numerous efforts over the years, we only managed to put a lien on him and his previous company, Graywater, which he subsequently bankrupted to avoid paying. It took us over 4 separate visits from court appointed servers, then had to hire our own private one who consequently served his wife Stacey which was admissible. So, he just opened a new company, Bradley Built and put his wife up as the registered agent. There were similar experiences with other customers with his previous company which you can read on the reviews, which is why I assume he just keeps changing the company names. Please feel free to call me, I am a new construction builder and own Halcyon Development Group. There is no "misunderstanding" or anything of that nature. We work with 100's of subcontractors every year in my business, and never experienced such a theft, this guy is simply a fraud. Do yourself a favor and just read other reviews on Bradley Built as I receive on average 5-6 calls a year on people he has cheated or people wanting to find out about my experience before working with him. This is a repeated pattern for this guy, and there has been no self-reflection, no accountability for this man, year after year. He is exactly the type of person who gives contractors in the construction business a bad name, however, I can assure you most if not all are honorable, it just takes a small minority of unethical people to hurt perceptions in our business.

These guys made all three steps (pun intended) super easy and painless. When 1) I called for a quote I got a speedy but thorough response, when 2) we hired them bc their quote was easy to understand and a fair price and 3) when we hired them they sent an awesome crew that worked their tails off to complete the job. We also had a few minor imperfections which they quickly resolved. They didn't question 'why' we asked or debate they made sure we were happy. They didn't ask for the final payment until the HOA was 100% satisfied. What a positive experience it was working with these guys (Mike in office and Eddie the owner)! I'd highly recommend.

Eddie came out 15 minutes early to do look the place over and do measurements and came up with an estimate about 30% less than the competitors. I received an official contract proposal within 24 hours via email. Mike made sure to do a follow up to address any concerns and questions I had the day after I had received the emailed proposal. Contract was signed a few weeks later after I confirmed that E&B was licensed by the city. Work began close enough to the given estimated time frame (delayed 1 week due to daily severe thunderstorms) and job completion was a little under 4 weeks (there were a few days of thunderstorms that would've made it too dangerous to work). The work crew worked even during mid 90*F temperatures, much respect. Work entailed 5 lintel replacements, a entire front facade grind and tuckpoint with mortar matching closely to original with a 1 year warranty. Clean up was a power wash with masonry detergent. Throughout the process, any questions and concerns I had were promptly answered by Mike or Eddie within 2 hours of sending a text message or email. Customer service, communication and work is exemplary. I highly recommend.

MK has met timeline and budget with fair pricing on any extras, which is extremely rare in constructions. Materials. High quality materials, and I could choose what I wanted as brands and models for siding and interior finishing. I am still and denial my project went so well. I'm pretty sure my cats could've jimmied the door open if there was a piece of ham dangling on the other side of it. We looked around and decided on a Thermatru patio door. Lee Lumber sold the door and referred us to Dick Frye. I took a peek at Yelp reviews before Dick came to our house. In hindsight, I should've given the negative ones more weight, but the door distributor referred him, so I thought was a pretty good endorsement. He came out, measured and told us how he'd approach the project; at that point everything sounded good. At that point, we should have asked for references, a certificate of insurance, taken extensive pictures of the state of our back door before anything was done. Instead, what we did was ask him to send us a proposal. I was home the day the door was installed. I don't know much about door installations, but he seemed to take his time and for the most part, the door itself is installed well. There is one noticeable spot that's a bit off; it causes the door hinge to squeak, but again not the end of the world. Again, here's where we should've taken more pictures of the interior and exterior of the door. It's also where things went sideways. Dick asked to come back the next day and put the trim on the inside and make the outside look "like it did before." We didn't stay home for this and that we regret terribly. The outside was a disaster. We were speechless at the quality of the job and that he had the nerve to tell us that's what it looked like before when we called to complain. If you compared the back door to our front door and every window (and there are many), it's clear it is not. No j-channel, exposed wood, and some weird hack at the top of the frame that likely would create ice dams in winter. We had someone come out and he wouldn't even touch it because he had no idea how he did what he did; another two agreed it needed correcting. When we refused to pay the balance until we could get it sorted out, he conceded that it didn't come out as he expected and it was harder than he anticipated. Yet, he got angry that we'd have someone else correct it. Manfriend asked him out to explain what he did, in hopes of having someone else properly fix it. Against his better judgement, manfriend decided to let him come back with a siding person to properly repair the back. It's mostly ok; the siding wasn't cut long enough to properly slide under the j-channel in a few spots, but overall it is a vast improvement over what was originally done. We would never hire Dick Frye to do anything for us after this experience; like I said, his name is almost a dirty word in our house. I feel lucky that manfriend has construction experience because I don't think he was expecting us to push back at all and in the state the outside of our door originally was left, we would've had wood rot and water damage in a few years. I'm only giving two stars because the installation of the overall door itself was fine.
