I found this place via online through Yelp. At first, I am kind of optimistic about it since there weren't much review and all the reviews are 4 to 5 stars. My first massage from this place is 60 minutes session with Francisco. He asked about the reason for the visit. I described to him that I have chronic upper shoulder/neck pain due to work. I also do exercise quite a lot and want to relax as well. He spent roughly 30 minutes on upper body (shoulder, neck, and the back) and 30 minutes on my lower body (calves and thighs). As the massage begins, he started on my shoulder/neck area to feel out my muscles and the next thing I know he is working on my knots. As the time goes by he goes down to my lower body and I didn't expect I will feel so much pain from my calves and thighs. As 30 minutes hit, he asked me to turn around and start to work on my shoulder and arms then back down to my legs again. I never felt asleep during massage but every time I come to this place I know I fell asleep and feel relax as I walked out the door. Overall, I would recommend this place for a full body massage! But try not to book too much time from Francisco, so I can still get a spot when needed lol... read more

Found this place through Schedulicity and found out it's the same place my mom goes to so I had a great referral! I booked a 75 minute Intro Massage with Francisco a couple days before my appointment - booking online is fast, easy, and they have great availability! I arrived to my appointment a few minutes early to fill out paperwork and to discuss where I was having issues, desired pressure, etc. Francisco does a great job of assessing what you want done and getting a background of your daily life so he can help you during the massage. The building is very calming and the rooms were great. Other massage places I've gone to they have a small light in the room but in the rooms here it's a small blue light - I really liked this because it makes the room just a little bit darker and blue is a calming color anyway. The whole experience was great and I felt so much better after the massage - I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and it completely disappeared and I felt much more relaxed. My wife and I have been seeing Francisco for our massage needs for over a year now and I am really excited to hear he is opening his own massage business. After bouncing around for a while, unable to find someone who did a really great deep tissue massage I finally found Francisco. In our first meeting a few questions helped him quickly find my major complaints and then in a hour he basically fixed them. My back and neck always give me problems, even after new chairs, better ergonomics and yoga. When those have done what they can Francisco fixes the rest of my problems. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great massage (and now in his own place at a great rate as well). Also, my wife highly recommends him for any prenatal massage needs since she says his is one of the few who can give a real prenatal massage rather then just a rubbing with oil. read more

Had my first prenatal massage with Francisco and Im used to deep tissue massages. All my tensions and knots were alleviated, finally. He is great with deep tissue and yes, pregnant women can have deep tissue massages! Wow, seeing him again soon! Btw he knows prenatal massages well! Update: I still go to Francisco post pregnancy. He provides the optimal amount of pressure to loosen the knots and also finds them in areas I didn't know they had existed. If you need a relaxing moment, this is the place. Terri was amazing! It was my first visit and she was warm and friendly. I have been getting super intense trigger points in my glutes and soreness in my heel and Terri was able to use her magic to work these out! I had gotten a massage 5 days earlier elsewhere for the same issues but when I got home, it started cramping and the trigger points felt bruised. Terri fixed this immediately and not only did the bruising sensation go away, it hasn't cramped up since! Will definitely be back soon! read more

Francisco is an amazing massage therapist! After I discovered him a couple of years ago at his previous place of business, I never "cheated"on him with another therapist, even when word got out about his talents and his schedule would be booked out for weeks in advance. He does a great deep tissue massage, and is able to read my body to determine what needs to be fixed at any given visit. No "fufu" massages here. Now that he has branched out on his own, I am very selfishlishly feeling a little conflicted about giving him this well deserved 5 star review because while I want him use his talents to help others, I am also loving being able to book with relatively short notice. How incredible is Francisco? I pester him all the time to become a teacher. I've offer to videotape his technique if he wants to make DVDs. I research ways that he can avoid repetitive stress injuries to his hands. Why? Because he is SO good and SO much better than any other masseuse I've seen. I'm a massage addict--I've had countless massages over the past 10 years. And NOTHING compares to Francisco. A deep tissue massage from him is a REVELATION. He's the only masseuse where I leave completely flabbergasted--and I've been seeing him for years, so you'd think I'd get over the surprise. But it's to the point that I've actually GRILLED him on many occasions on his technique! Because I've seen a lot of massueses that are very good--smart, dedicated, experienced, from top massage schools. And I just cannot understand how Francisco can be SO much better than them, outside of being some sort of warlock. Head and shoulders above. I could go on and on, but since no one wants to read an essay, here are two things that never fail to amaze me: He magically finds your tight spots and scar tissue. I have some rotator cuff injuries that literally NO OTHER masseuse is able to treat. Even when I specifically point out the areas, they end up not working the right muscles. To the point where I stopped even bothering to ask masseuses to treat those areas. First time I see Francisco, he instantly finds those areas without me saying a word, and works the exact right muscles! It never ceases to amaze me how well he is able to find your sore spots. I sometimes don't even tell him where I'm sore, because it's cool to see him naturally find it. And frequently he finds spots that I didn't even realize were tight. Two, he works tight areas better than anyone I've ever seen. I think it's because he uses his hands instead of his elbows for deep tissue. After experiencing deep tissue w hands through Francisco, I have to say there really is no comparison--the specificity, the angles, etc., all the things that I don't think you could do with your elbows. To be fair, I don't think other masseuses would be able to do that, Francisco looks like he could crush a baseball with his hand. I honestly believe every person who likes deep tissue massage should get a massage from Francisco at some point in their lives, just to experience the difference. read more

I have been getting massages for years... lots of different spas and masseuses... and think I know the difference between someone who knows how to give a massage for pleasure and one who becomes genuinely in tune with your body and uses her powers and talent to heal. Terri, at Customized Massage Therapy, is the REAL DEAL. I found it incredible how Terri was able to find the areas in my body that were giving me problems (that even I couldn't direct her to) and alleviate the tension, stress and pain. I have recently been bothered by tightness and aches in my right hip, calf and went to yoga to try and work things out. Then I went to get a massage with Francisco. All I can say is wow. I have had tons of massages in my lifetime and haven't in 15 years of getting massages found someone as intuitive and knowledgeable. I have had rotator cup problems since I was a teenager and whenever I get stressed, work on computer too much, I have sharp, unbearable shoulder pains. He went right to the problem and alleviated the tension. I usually love painful massages b/c I want the therapist to go deep into the massage. Francisco's massage is actually not painful but at the same time, was deeper than any other massage I've had. I think it's b/c his movement is slower so as to get maximum therapy and minimal pain. I got a gift certificate for this place, and of course I checked it out on Yelp before I went. The good reviews didn't lead me astray! Francisco was great and very professional. I appreciated that he texted me the morning of my massage to give me very clear directions on how to get there. That was essential, because his place is hard to find! With his instructions I had no problem figuring it out, though. His place seems to be just him, so it's small - just a reception area and the massage room. However, it was nicely decorated, relaxing, and plenty big enough. The massage itself was wonderful. At one point I'm pretty sure I drifted off to sleep because I was so relaxed!
