I heard of this spa from a friend and it's worth the HYPE! My friends and I booked a room with a hot tub, cold plunge, and a steam room sauna. This cost us $58/person for an hour on weekday which is such a steal! Book in advance online for sure. If you come early to your appt time, you must wait patiently. The space is really clean, relaxing waterfall, cute gift shop. The private room was so luxurious! We had so much fun hanging out and relaxing. I feel like the facilities are so clean which is important for spas. This is the best way to have a spa day with friends after work. I feel like the price was great for the experience and felt accessible. I highly recommend this spa for a treat yourself moment!

Small parking lot for customers. Six dragonflies: nice room with a lounge bed, hot tub, cold plunge and steam room (attached to shower). One hour is a good amount of time to relax, without feeling rushed. I do wish they provided robes and slippers as it can be inconvenient to use the outside bathrooms if you're already wet. Pro tip: keep your shoes/socks slightly elevated to keep them dry when you go in/out of the various water sources. If management is reading this, consider having a shoe rack in the tub rooms so that shoes and socks don't accidentally get wet and lotion in the bathrooms.

This was a nice relaxing girls hang out We booked a hot tub room for an hour ($40 per person) and I for one cannot stand a hot tub for longer than 20 minutes so it was more than enough time The inside is cute and clean, and they have showers. The little store inside is also so cute - they have JellyCat plushies too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also offer you tea / ice water when you walk in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Watercourse Way is the most relaxing place I've ever been to. It's a great way to end a stressful day of work. It's very peaceful, quiet, and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff will always offer water or tea after check-in and ensure you know how to utilize the jets, music, etc. (there are a lot of buttons!).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been here a couple times for the hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna. They also have showers. I really like this place and I will be coming back.

This is probably hands down one of the best spas I've been to in Palo Alto -- and definitely recommended if you're trying to splurge and be fancy! They're a little bit hidden on Channing Road, but once you see their logo, you'll be able to recognize which business it is :) The type of care that they give to patrons is quite honestly good -- ones where you will not regret at all costs. They had spas, and also offered massage services as well. I want to thank the staff at Watercourse Way Spa for being very welcoming, and accommodating to our needs. They had quite a bit of complimentary stuff while we were checking in to our spa, and asked if we needed any assistance or extra things while we were there. Me and my friend came here on a very sudden whim, and honestly one of the best decisions ever that we made. We got the Eight Stars package, and honestly it was worth it for two peoples' price overall. The amenities came with a cold plunge, a spa, and a sauna -- all of which we used. Our bodies were not really feeling the cold plunge that morning, so we only used it for probably five minutes out of the 70 minutes that we were actually there. It was quite secluded, very private, and it even included a shower. Overall, I'd recommend this place once more if you're looking to getaway for a little bit from the troubles of this world. Your body will definitely thank you for it :)

This spa is beautifully decorated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were very helpful and friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friends and I reserved hots tubs in adjoining rooms which included a steam shower, a sauna, and a cold plunge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had so much fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After our time in the hot tubs we each had an hour massage. We thoroughly enjoyed our massages. We will be back and we highly recommend this spa.

Cockroach from hot tub

Cockroach in the hot tub with my fiancée and I! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Let staff know and they weren't eager to resolve the issue with a refund.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Connie- whom checked my finance and I in was very unprofessional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She didn't attempt to mediate the situation, but rather sit back on her phone smirking while Kyler, another employee spoke to us[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. He mentioned there are bug traps and exterminators that come by- so I feel they're aware they have roaches and pretended to be surprised we found one in the tub. Do not spend money here! Will update to see if we're refunded. Disappointed that it wasn't an immediate fix. $100+ to soak with roaches. *Manager followed up after my fiancée called the next day. Our transaction was voided/ refunded and we were offered 50% off a future visit. (Unlikely to return, as there is a roach problem- but the gesture is professional)

Booked the hot tub for an hour evening soak. Upon arrival we were checked in and escorted to our room. We were given towels and changed inside the room. It was really nice. Warm and relaxing. The atmosphere was calm and low-key, nothing too fancy, which made it perfect for a simple unwind. Our room had a shower along with soaps for use after the soak. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the visit pleasant overall. A solid spot for a casual, stress-free spa break.

Spend an hour of relaxation here. Many rooms to choose from, look online for photos for different themes and set ups. I stayed in the nine bats room which has hot tub, steam room, shower, cold plunge and a bed to lie on. Next time I'd like to try rooms one, four, six. Good experience Wish there was a supply of more water or a water station outside of the room, def need it after hot tub, bring your own because there isn't any you can get inside the room.

This place is a hidden gem. It had been a while and after hearing about how amazing this place was , I had to come back and am happy I did. The place is clean and inviting and the rooms are serene and can't wait to be back to try out the cold plunge and sauna next. The staff is friendly and kind and definitely can't wait to be back !

I was having such a rough week so my boyfriend and I came to Watercourse to destress. We called and made an appointment for the same day. We opted for the 60min hot tub in the room Five Fish. The room was private & included a shower & a bed to relax. Definitely a great price for the service. Would definitely come back to try the massages.

Ask the Community - Watercourse Way

Do we need to come in wearing anything specific? thanks!

No, not at all. During your time there you'd be getting undressed anyways. The spa itself is very nice and there's a small shop on the first floor where reception is. Saying so, like I would wear something casual / nice sweat suit / work out attire.…

Our bathing suits optional?

Yes. Per Watercourse Way's FAQ swimsuits are not required in the private hot tub rooms. They advise some swimsuits color react poorly to the chlorine and they aren't responsible if your swimsuit becomes discolored from the chlorine.

Do you have a SPA day where people can use other amenities aside from buying a massage?

Yes, our private hot tub rooms can be booked separately. Also facials, wraps and scrubs.

Is towel or clothes allowed in the hot tub?

If u mean like a bathing suit, long tshirt to cover if not comfortable or trunks, yes it's allowed. My bf used a cold wet towel in the hot tub over his shoulders/head to keep from over heating. There's no rules that I know of that restricts towels…

Do you accept cash and walk-ins are ok (off-peak hrs)?

We do accept cash. To guarantee an appointment it is best reserve. We do not often have openings for…

Do you guys offer outdoor massages at all?? I am still being pretty cautious about covid....thanks!

Yes we do. Call our front desk crew and ask for a gazebo massage. 650-462-2000…

Hello I wanted to book the dragon room do I need a credit car to do that or can I just do it with my debit card?

We used a debit card. But, please call them directly to find out their policies.

Are we able to control the lighting in the rooms, like are we able to dim the lights?

Yes.

The website says some of the chiller for the cold plunge is currently out of order and the water is cool/lukewarm. Is cool just right? Because the actual chiller of 40F sounds like a heart attack temperature.

Yes, it's just cooler than the tub.

Does the Himalayan salt ritual include a body wrap?

Yes it does.

Couples massage available?

No when we went they weren't available.

Are they offering couples packages yet?

Are their hot tubs open for rentals again?

Hi Jennifer, Not yet. We are waiting for the County to move into the yellow tier. Thank you for…

Looking to get a prenatal massage and I'm a bit nervous? I have always loved my massages when I come here, but how are the prenatal massages?

Hi Jamie, We recommend you speak to your physician before booking a prenatal massage. That should help you decide.…

Hi do you guys charge per hour and/or per person for the private hot tub rooms? & are the prices different for each of the different styles of rooms?

Hi Christian, thanks for reaching out. The hot tub rooms are charged per person/per hour and rooms that include sauna or steam are priced a bit higher than rooms without (with sauna/steam are $40 per person/per hour, rooms without are $30 per…

Will you be open on Monday Labor Day?

Hi Anita! Yes we will be open our usual hours 8am to 11pm on Monday, Labor Day. Please call 650 462 2000 if you would like to book an appointment.…

Does the couple massage include the hot tub with sauna/steam room?

Steam yes but hot tub needs to be added, well worth it though!!!

Who hot tub rooms are the best?

Hi Sandra, thanks for reaching out! Since all of the rooms look different, it's really a matter of personal preference. But rooms One Pine, Six Dragonflies, Eight Stars and Nine Bats are our most popular.

Does anyone have information on how many people are allowed into the hot tub rooms at a time? Website says groups are welcome but doesn't state a maximum.

Hi Lynn, thank you for reaching out to us. All of our hot tubs rooms can accommodate at least 4 people. Rooms One Pine, Six Dragonflies, Eights Stars and Nine Bats can all accommodate up to 6 people; and rooms 8 & 9 can connect to one another and be…

I found Watercourse on SpaFinder. Do you accept gift cards through them still?

Yes we do. The only caveat is that if you use SpaFinder gift cards for a discounted service, you would lose the discount (for example, our normally discounted monthly spa special would revert to full price if SpaFinder gift cards are used). We hope…

I had booked lymphatic massage with Jane's Therapy after seeing great reviews about her massages…read more I received reminder via text message which was helpful. She's operating out of her home in Santa Clara. Finding her place was easy- she also came to parking area to make sure I find the place. A few things that led to a meh experience- I have been to multiple places, including some who operate out of home, so naturally I'm comparing against those. This one felt weird. 1. The table is set up in the living room with one divider to cover shorter side (head) only, so the table is exposed in the longer side and quite open, with almost zero privacy. 2. Communication: I was expecting lymphatic massage but she suggested lymphatic is not good as it is very mild. Instead she would do a combination of lymphatic and will use pressure points. She kept pushing for it so I reluctantly agreed. During the massage she checked a couple of times about pressure, which was good. However the massage itself was just okay. Towards end of the massage she said her fingers hurt because she had to massage using fingers vs elbow. And she asked if I still wanted lymphatic but we are already at one hour at that point - that felt very off and weird. I declined because I didn't know if that would mean extra cost or not. It was also weird that she rolled her eyes as it to indicate it's a burden for her. The bed was warm but room was cold, with sofa and all open mess around. Overall it was pretty bad experience. It could be because she operated out of her home, but it was weird.
