But good thing, when you do come in, the entrance is the check in point and they have a variety of bath soaps, oils, scents that you can use while you are in their tub rooms. I also know that they have combo for different kind of treatments. We had an hour long for the room and it's pretty good amount to have the tub rooms all for ourselves. The staff are really nice, and they will explain to you how the jets, and stuff works before they leave you. My boyfriend and I did our first ever massage here as part of Valentine's Day weekend. Because we wanted to do a couples massage, we had to call to make a reservation. We called about a month prior to Valentine's Day (which was a Sat) - while the holiday itself was fully booked, the day after still had some openings. We arrived a few minutes prior to our 4 pm appointment. The location is a few blocks away from the main University Ave, and while they have a small parking lot, there was plenty of street parking nearby. We checked in and paid prior to the start of our appointment. Because they're part of the SpaFinder group, we were able to purchase SpaFinder gift cards at Costco and use them to pay. However they can only be used to cover the main cost of the service, but not tips. We booked a 1h Couples Swedish massage. We both agreed that we had an amazing and relaxing time, and our masseuses definitely contributed to that experience! They adjusted to our requests, mainly if we felt they were applying too much pressure or if a certain area was more sore than expected, ensuring the experience was comforting and relaxing. While the experience was great, it was quite costly to partake. The 1h Couples Swedish massage was $180 per person ($360 total), which seems to be pricier than other locations when looking. Having recently had a great facial experience somewhere else, I was reminded of my disappointing experience here last July. I had been neglecting my skin and knew it needed some help, so I booked the custom facial so the esthetician could choose what made sense instead of guessing myself. Now I could have just said no please stick with the original plan, but I was vulnerable... this was the first nice postpartum thing I had done for myself and did want to do what was needed for my skin. However, I ultimately felt like I was being upsold and having to make the decision to spend more money on the spot when I'm sitting there eyes closed trying to relax. It was too much mental load especially since I wasn't familiar with the facial options as a first time customer. The mention of the free product also made me feel like it was a sales pitch. I wasn't familiar with the product, and it wasn't going to play a factor in my facial choice. The facial overall seemed good and I did add on microderm abrasion which I do think make sense for my skin and would have been a simple add on without doing the mental math on the other facial types. At the end, she put on a tinted sunscreen that when I stepped out, made me appear slightly orange like a really poor foundation match so I ended up going home to wipe off my face instead of continuing along my day. An update after almost a year since our last visit. Ty and the staff were really understanding about my mix-up about booking the individual services for facial and massage. Our second visit was for 2 people but the booking turned out to be 1 person each service and not for 2 people each for the facial and massage. I should've been clearer while making the reservation so this was my bad - while we did not mind this, they were gracious to offer a small discount off our total which was so nice of them. As always, they offer you delicious tea before your stay. We were in the One Pine room this time around and I enjoyed this room with the skylight and dimmed down atmosphere. The water pressure is perfect, and the cold plunge and sauna are always a delight to go along with a hot tub soak. Lastly, Florence our masseuse and Kiyomi our esthetician did wonders on our muscles and skin. We were satisfied with our service and felt so calm it was hard not to doze off. It shows their years of experience and I have always felt so welcomed at Watercourse Way that I recommend it to all my friends who are looking for some R&R. read more
