Levi is a jerk!!! He called me for a cancellation spot was sweet as pie and as soon as I walked in he looked at me like I was annoying him to even walk in. I told him who I was and just continued to be rude. I still left my puppy for a puppy cut because I've been going to this location since it was CJ's pet grooming over 20 years now. When returning Levi asked me to pay I asked him if I could see my puppy first he asked why. I explained before I paid a tip I'd like to see him. He got frustrated with me and went and got him and put him on the counter I looked at my puppy saw that he needed his butt area trimmed he grabbed my puppy took him to a lady groomer whispered in her ear and before I knew it they shaved his whole butt area. I think Levi has poor communication skills and is very rude. He has lost me and my entire family as a groomer and 4 of us used to go there. read more

If I can give 0 stars I would. Took my frenchie here for a groom, when I went to pick him up he was overheating. As soon as I walked in to pick him up it felt overly humid. Mind you it didn't feel that way when my bf dropped him off. They didn't seem to care either he went straight for the water I had for him. He was drooling so much from where he was overheating he didn't even look clean anymore. Definitely don't recommend if you have any type of bulldogs or any dogs that are sensitive to heat. I've taken my dogs here for their grooming for the last 4 yrs. Today was our last day. The man that owns the business is VERY rude. I comb my dog 3x a week and he said "we'll ur not doing a very good job bcuz he's still matted and it's going to be extra". I went back to get my dog and heard him tell 3 people ahead of me there would be an extra charge bcuz of the matting. I've been taking my dogs here for years but today was a total disappointment! Three times a strike! I took my two dogs today and when I was picking one of them up the owner handed me the wrong dog when i noticed the mistake and told him about it he was speechless not a single apology plus they clipped one of her ears, never said anything about that at all. My dogs are miniature schnauzers and they have a high pitch tone bark that being said while I was waiting for the second dog to be handed to me I noticed the lady with the glasses changed my dog to another kennel because she wanted her to be quiet, she put a towel or sheet on that kennel for her to stop barking but I could still hear all of the other dogs do the same - bark, she didn't changed her ID card on the new kennel so when it was time to pick her up they couldn't find her, the owner immediately asked the groomer and she told him where she put the dog at first, then I proceeded to tell the groomer what I saw this lady do and told her where my dog was and that i didn't needed to hear that lady mumble how annoying was my dog when she came back inside the grooming area. I recently took my chow chow over the weekend.for some reason we werent in their system. Last visit was back at the end of October 2023. We were told that the my dog's fur was incredibly matted. Highly believe it was extremely matted . We have taken my dog looking the way he did on Saturday before and always had a trim the works. Never had an issue until now. A nice woman always took care of my dog before and always made me feel welcomed as a customer there. They completely shaved my dog to bare skin. My dog is extremely depressed. I dont know what to do. They cut him and didn't trim correctly in between his nails. I called to see if they can leave some fur on him but at the the time i called they had already shaved him off. I requested for them to leave his head fluffy and it's all butchered. My dog is incredibly depressed! They could have left him with some fur. A tall guy with tattoos always looks like he hates it there. Chow chows get depressed when they shave ALL of his fur off. They are the professionals and they should know this and not sure why they offered to shave him all Off. his fur was clearly not extremely matted. They are professionals and i trusted them. I just hope my dog doesn't die of depression. He doesn't eat or play. I am extremely worried! I am extremely upset. For 115 plus 20 dollar tip. Wow. I just had my red Aussie groomed here. I didn't get the name of the groomer, and they are closed now so I can't call to ask. The groomer told me when I dropped off my dog that his undercoat was so matted that he would have to shave him. I was surprised, because he was in worse shape the last time I brought him here after living outside on a ranch for 3 years, and the lady who groomed him did not shave him. I was disappointed, because my dog had beautiful long red hair/fur, his topcoat. It was his undercoat that was matted on his chest, rear end, and legs. I do not like the way my dog looks having been shaved. The groomer told me it was because I didn't take good care of him. True, I seldom brushed him because he has been an outdoors dog for so long. I used to just cut the burrs out of his undercoat, which grows back fast. I got home and got online to see how long before his fur grows back. There I saw in bold letters: "NEVER SHAVE THIS BREED!" The undercoat and top coat work together to regulate his temperature and protect him from the sun. Mats and clumps may be cut out, as the undercoat doesn't clump next to the skin, and it grows back quickly. The topcoat, which helps keep him clean and gives sun protection, will take up to 2 years to grow back and it may never grow back correctly after being shaved. I wish I had checked this information BEFORE I took him to the groomer. That being said, I expected the groomer to be knowledgeable about the breeds he is paid to service. I trusted him because he is a professional. I still believe he should have known not to shave this breed. I must keep sweaters on my dog, who is a large dog, to keep him warm, and lighter clothing even in sunlight that isn't harsh, which doesn't happen in the desert. I won't know for a couple of years if his coat has grown back correctly. I was charged $103 and added a $20 tip. I was charged $15 for a package that included brushing the undercoat and using a special shampoo and conditioner. I assumed after the groomer told me he would "have to" shave him that he would skip the extra brushing I asked for. They told me I asked for the package so they used the special products on him but brushing wasn't done because he was shaved. I brought my dog to this same salon less than a year ago, after he had lived outside for 3 years, and a different groomer did not shave him but cut out the clumps, charged me for the underbrushing, and made him look gorgeous! This guy felt around on my dog, said his mats were too extreme to do anything but shave him. I have to wonder if he wasn't simply reluctant to do the work. Shaving was the easy way. Regardless, I believe he should have known not to shave an Aussie, or at least looked up some notes. I thought professional dog groomers were familiar with how to groom specific breeds. I'm not as concerned with the cosmetic--I'm concerned that my dog will be unable to regulate temperatures as God intended him to. Where do I find clothing for him? I'm concerned that he must avoid outdoor Arizona sun for the next couple years. He loves the outdoors. I have yet to call the shop to find out the groomers name, they were closing up when I got there. I'm sure the groomer will find a way to blame me, or my dog, or someone else and deny that he should have known this breed should never be shaved. According to what I've read, and according to the way the groomer last year did it-- cutting out clumps in the undercoat is part of the grooming, and brushing the topcoat. The undercoat should not be brushed until the clumps are cut out. Eventually, if the dog is an outdoors dog, the clumps in the undercoat will fall out. Never shave this breed. read more

Never again will I ever come here. This was my second time taking my dogs to this place to get serviced. The first time they did good on their haircuts but I noticed they didn't smell good. This second time I walked in and it REEKED of cigarettes. As I was signing my name in I seen and heard one of the staff assisting another dog very aggressively and talking to it very mean and impatient, the dog was a small breed and want not even being fussy, just was moving around a tad bit. The thing that really ticked me off was when I went to pick up my dog the lady who was releasing my dogs gave me the wrong dog! I was so upset. Once upon a time it was a good place to go to. After today, I will never take my cats or dogs there. Groomers on their phones while cutting, owner about as useless as they come and I could go on and on. One of my dogs still had hair coming off left and right and they were all dropped off for a bath, brush and toes. Toes are still long and no grinding done but spent $100 for I am not sure what. After picking up my dog from the groomers I noticed he had a dark spot above one of his eyes, but didn't think anything of it since his skin is light pick with brown spots and thought I hadn't noticed it because his hair was normally longer. The next morning his eyes were bloodshot red and that's when I realized he'd actually been hurt while at this groomers and what I thought was another spot was a bruise. When I picked him up not one person mentioned any sort of accident or said anything regarding this incident but yet had the audacity to ask for a tip before handing me my dog and without a word that he had been hurt. I will definitely not be bringing my dog back to this groomers. They are clearly not trained well enough to handle our babies and don't even have the decency to let you know when something has gone wrong. Imagine the hit my dog received for his eye to bruise and eye vein to pop! It is unacceptable that they don't advise the pet owner of the incident! I've been bringing my dog, Bubba to this groomer for over 5 years and today will be the LAST time I ever do! The person who took Bubba in today was as rude and unpleasant a person I've ever experienced. For years I've come in with my dog, put him down, took his leash off and signed in. Today, whoever this person was, decided that I had to either pick my dog up or put him on a leash, and wasn't to pleasant about telling me. Then told me I had to stand, "in a certain place". It seems she was doing everything she could to make me SNAP on her, curse her out, and then be invited to leave.
