This is my go to cafe. I love this place from the amazing wooden walls too the small details of cat pills and cat pictures hanging. There bathroom is very clean and hip too. Plus when it's nice weather they have a seating area in the back of the store. The staff there is always pleasant and it's never a long wait for my order. If you get something to stay they will bring it over to you at your table. They also have WiFi and plenty of outlets if you need to get some work done. Another bonus is there coffee station which you put your own sugar,simple sugar and or any milk you may use. Which I love because I make it to my own liking. read more

Having only visited this place for coffee, This review will only reflect that and the service. Both of which are outstanding!. Upon entering, there are several tables with a window view of the street. In the back there are several more tables with what looks to be an outdoor area for seating in the warmer months. There is a showcase near the barista with fresh baked goods, such as croissant, cinnamon bun and other continental treats. They also serve a selection of fresh handmade sandwiches and salads. Having only consumed the coffee and espresso, I can tell you that this place serves quality coffee and makes an excellent espresso. Strong, not bitter and the sugar floats on the soft foam just for a moment before it plunges into the dark of the caffeine. The staff is always friendly and polite and will offer you samples if you are unsure. I always stop by when I am in the area. read more

This spot is confusing and misleading. The cute cafe has a total of 3 cat photos. One of which is on the cup sleeve. This cafe is more greek themed in appearance and less cat than the title would suggest. Drinks: I ordered the Frappuccino but I was wrong for knowing what that was. Turns out I've been having Frappuccino's every time I order ice coffee. It missed the mark. My date has a white chocolate latte, the taste was expected. The art was non existent. It was sad to say the least. Food: an order of the Nutella waffles and turkey sandwich. The Nutella waffles was more of an eggo. It was frozen and not made from batter. It takes longer to reheat the frozen waffle then make it from pre-made batter, with worse flavor to top it off. Turkey sandwich was cold. The sandwiches are panini pressed, but only for aesthetics. The grill lines on the sandwich does not mean your cheese is grilled. You are met with solid pieces of cheese when you bite. It was dripping in Mayo, with an egg included. I ordered an Acai smoothie and a Volcano sandwich and both were very good. The spaciousness and ambience are perfect to do studying and work. There are outdoor areas to study too which are very nice. We had always been passing by and decided to try for breakfast today. First of all, the place is extremely cute just as their name! Nicely decorated, cozy and friendly. The staff working there friendly as well. However, they need couple more staff cuz the two kids were both taking and preparing the orders which causes waiting long. I received my sandwich 5 minutes later than my husband:) I ordered Gobble sandwich with Turkey and my husband got Kikiriki with Chicken. They were both tasty, filling and served with potato chips. Coffee was average but tea was not good to be honest. Tasted like just water and my husband didn't even finish it. Came here last night at around 7pm. The cafe is a decent size with tables in the front, back, and (from what i saw) a seating area outside, which looked like it would be nice in the Spring/Summer. You can sit wherever you'd like and, even though you have to walk back to the register to order, your food is brought to your table. I ordered the Gandhi Bagel (hummus, cucumber, tomato and avocado). I didn't get cucumber because, yuck, but it was SO good. They give such a generous amount of avocado and the bagel was pretty thick (it tasted homemade). I also got lemonade which the server confirmed was freshly squeezed. My younger cousin ordered a chai latte and a cheesecake which she enjoyed as well. They have a small amount of pastries; I saw two types of cheesecake, what looked like tiramisu, croissants, and danishes. All in all really good :). read more

I love this cafe- very good atmosphere. I just moved to ridgewood and this is becoming the place I go to to eat some food and do computer work. There are plenty of outlets that make this an easy and comfortable place for that. I like that I see many families and people of different nationalities coming here to sit and relax- that's what makes ridgewood so great. Just a couple constructive requests that I hope the owners will see and address- I've been ordering sandwiches here and most of the time the fillings are kind of small for the price. I think one slice of lox and tiny bit of cream cheese in an $8 lox bagel is a bit skimpy. Also, every time I've come I've noticed fruit flies and regular flies. The cafe is popular on weekends but I don't mind and still come here to do work, and I'll keep coming back! read more

On 9/2 at night, I ordered the lox bagel, waffle toast w/ fruits, chai latte w/ oat milk, and acai smoothie. Before coming to the store, I was expecting great things because the pictures looked pretty and it had a high rating. However, the experience was disappointing. The smoothie wasnt even a smoothie w/ a thick texture. It was ultra watered down and it tasted like tap water. The lox bagel was mediocre and there were no capers at all. The chai latte also tasted like nothing. It was seriously a waste of money. Was the employee new? It would be nice if there was something to compensate for this especially the smoothie because it was literally as if somebody put water and food coloring. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Over the past few months I've come here multiple times a week to do my work. I'm simple, I usually just get the black drip coffee and sit there for as long as I need to. It's $2. Today, I didn't want coffee, so I got a bottle of water instead. After doing my work for about an hour and a half, one of the baristas came up to me and asked me to leave because I "only" got a bottle of water. The place was not even half full. I left, pretty annoyed, not before telling them that it makes no sense. Here is why this makes NO sense and why this demonstrates poor judgement and bad management: 1) There's no sign that says that if you buy a bottle of water you can't sit down for an extended period of time. Meaning, they pick and choose when they want to use this rule. 2) The place wasn't even close to half full. I could take a made up, wishy washy rule if it seemed like you were trying to accommodate other customers in a crowded situation, but not when there are no people clamoring for space. 3) I come here regularly, I know they know my face. The price difference between a bottle of water and the drip coffee I usually get is fifty cents. If making a sale is what you care about, why lose a recurring customer over FIFTY CENTS? Why can I sit in the space as long as I want if I pay $2 but not if i pay $1.50? Make it make sense. 4) I see people sit in here alllll the time with no food or drink, just chatting with their friends. My bigger point is this: When you make up arbitrary rules like this - on a seeming whim - a woman can't help but feel singled out, and prejudiced against. I hope management considers this so that other people don't go through the same thing. Won't be going here again. read more

I recently tried their breakfast plate and it's filled with veg and it's both tasty and filling! Best part is it's healthy so I don't feel guilty just chowing down the entire thing! The whole two stars goes completely to the vibe of this place. The food was so bad and the staff was just rude. To top it off their menu says nutella waffles but it's not real Nutella, the whole waffle taste like it's missing something... like the flavor. We asked for ketchup for the eggs, they don't have ketchup in the place?! They give you chips with your sandwich and they are little the cheapest things ever, i could get better at the deli, the sandwich bread was really hard and the meals came out one by one.
