I enjoy this spot for quick eats. My usual is the lunch special general Tso chicken which comes up to $10 each time

Soo many vegan options. One of ny favorite take out place this quarantine. So many options to choose from yet I keep ordering the same thing. I like knowing that it don't disappoint. I freaking love the fried wontons. So good. So crunchy on the outside with the delicious creamy filling in the inside. Each bit is like little piece of heaven in my mouth. Another favorite is their sugar cane drumsticks. I can them daily. It is a good thing I don't live close. Or else I would have gained so much weight.

My Basicl Protein Main dish Very delicious and slightly spicy.

Another day another rumbling stomach. My friend and I are trying to eat healthier together so he suggested a vegan dinner but unfortunately our regular go to spot was closed. Egads! I quickly hopped on Yelp and Grubhub to solve our emergency when I came upon this restaurant. He ordered General Taos (which he pronounced Tu-So's teehee) and I ordered a Basil dish. While the prices were pricey (about $14-$16 per dish) it was ok......he was paying. (Tee-hee) Anywho we drove out there and although there were tables and chairs blocking full entry (COVID) there was a very nice woman who was polite and quickly took my money and handed me my food (cash only!!). When we got back to my place we descended upon the food like vultures and.I must say I was impressed with the way things were packaged. They even included water bottles for each dish and had a cute little ziplocked packet of soy sauce, cutlery and a napkin which gave off a classy more refined polish for Chinese food. Upon first bite we both were delighted. The food tasted like quality, every bit of it.. My friend actually preferred my Basil dish but we both are up the two dishes and were quite full. I would definitely recommend this place whether you eat vegan or not; they have quite a large menu and even more appetizers that I am eager to try. Work overtime and treat yourself to some quality Chinese food folks, it will change your life I feel like a brand new woman!

Decent place for a lunch. They have lunch menu daily from 12-4. They had vegetarian food that imitated all the meets. We had scallion pancake, Malaysian pancake and vegetable dumpling to share and I had fish lunch, made to tofu instead of fish which was very good. It tasted and texture just like fish. I would definitely stop by again, if I wind up in the area. I would recommend. They give you tall glass of hot jasmine tea to start. Service was very good, too.

The food was very tasty here. Loved that everything on the menu was vegan. If I were rating the food only I'd give it a 5 start. The costumer service is not 5 star but very bearable. Needs better customer service. Customers shouldn't be questioned on whether or not they are allowed to have a brochure for the restaurant if they are paying for their food.

Amazing vegan options :) Everytime I pass Brooklyn will come here for sure :) I tried so many times to make the soup still can't figure the way to make it as yummy as like hers :) she has a guanyin in her store as well :) my grandma used to have a guanyin too :) thank you mama for the amazing vegan food reminds me of my grandma :)

Love-hate relationship with this place. Their delivery took 1.5 hours, and the delivery man didn't even come to the door -- he said you need to come outside to pick it up. I live 10 minutes away from the place. However, this is the best vegan Asian food you are going to get in this neighborhood. This place is way better than Franchia in the city that everyone always raves about -- and way cheaper. General Tso's Chicken has a good crispy texture on the outside with a sauce that isn't too sweet. Mango chicken is always a favorite. The Pad Thai is okay, but the mock chicken in it strangely reminds me of the way cat food smells. Not the best Asian vegan food I've had, but big portions and does the trick. They don't listen to special instructions for online orders, so make sure you call to confirm.

I always get the chicken nuggets and chicken teriyaki. Absolutely delicious!!! I should try some more items but these are my staEverything is amazing. The food comes out quickly, Jenny knows my name and my order. The best service ever. It's my cousin's favorite restaurant and he isn't even vegan. I have actually looked at apartments in the area just to be closer to this place. If that doesn't explain how good this place is I don't know what will. Just remember they only accept cash.

Sesame "Beef" - great savory flavor and not your sugary flavor from your local takeout! Good texture and chew as well. Garlic and Olive Oil Kale - this came out piping hot and all steamy but was definitely double-salted. We could not eat much of this but aside from the salt, it was flavored well. Great surprise ending was our bill was really low and I even asked if they charged us correctly (whats wrong with me you may ask)? We were told lunch items were half price on weekdays - woo! 5 star worthy if not for the kale!

You can get these drinks hot or iced. I had all of them iced! I also had one of the best iced matcha lattes ever from here with sweet coconut milk. WOW. From what I've seen, baked goods change daily and their drink menus change semi often as well, which is exciting!! Outside, there is some seating, lovely items and books for purchase and a window to order, as well as the menu items displayed on boards and items around the space. Inside is quite similar, but with more items for sale and more seating. The patty is…read morea mix of oats and mushrooms, and the "cheese"--which is actually a cashew-based creation with oil--has a subtle flavor. It also comes with a vegan ranch-style dressing. When I tried it, the overall taste was nutty and mushroom-forward. Does it taste like beef? Not really. It's more like a lightly seasoned, spongy mushroom patty with hints of the creamy cashew "cheese" and dressing. The burger is a bit messy and tends to fall apart, so you'll want to eat it over something or wrap it in plastic or parchment. Alternatively, you can order it as a wrap, including a gluten-free option for just $1 more. Honestly, I think the wrap might be the better choice over the burger bun. I also tried the chili, which had a distinct split pea flavor with plenty of beans and a nutty undertone. The potato salad was creamy, made with diced potatoes that were lightly seasoned. It wasn't particularly memorable, but it was fine. Overall, for $13, the meal was decent. I don't approach vegan food expecting it to mimic fast food; I look for quality and originality, and this place offers something that's passable. The vibe is very indie and hipster, with a sense that they put care and spirit into their food. I've walked past this place before--I even visited once with my sister to try the cornbread and chili, which were okay--so I figured I'd stop in again. The location has charm, but the food didn't leave a lasting impression. It's good for what it is, and I appreciate the effort, but nothing really stood out. I've read other reviews saying the quality was better pre-COVID, though I can't speak to that since I never ate here before the pandemic. If that's true, it makes sense. Would I come back? Maybe, but probably not on a budget. For what it is, though, it's worth trying if you're curious.
