I've been wanting to go to Redemption for several months and finally made it to downtown Campbell…read moretoday to check it out. It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

I bought a tank top and it was $42 which was pretty steep but I didn't mind. Until today, I had washed the top I purchased ONCE and after only 2 or 3 wears it starts pilling almost everywhere! Sometimes the my washer does this which isn't avoidable, but I had washed it with like colors and fabric types so it shouldn't have done this. There's also weird lines in the fabric now so not sure if I would wear this outside my house anymore.

Macy's backstage Oakridge is located on the 2nd floor by the children's clothing and men's undergarments. They have a good selection for all genders, but my favorite is the shoe section. It is well organized and they have lots of designs/styles to choose from. Some of the juniors/women's clothing is not the best price, but they are constantly rotating things in and out. Don't forget, you only have 30 days to exchange/return, unlike the original Macy's!

I walked all over the store trying to find an open fitting room and all but ONE were blocked from customer use, as in, closed due to their fears about COVID, I guess. I know we're still in a pandemic, and we need to be careful, but I've shopped at other clothing stores since the post-lockdown reopening and most of them allow us to use ALL fitting rooms in the store as long as we keep our masks on while trying clothes on. Sorry they think so low of their customers that we all gotta be funneled into ONE fitting room and wait our damn turn in a big long line to try on our clothes. I had 5 dresses weighing my arm down and was not gonna wait my turn to try them on when there are 3 other large fitting rooms they could have opened up for their customers. And this is a BIG store and I walked all over the place trying to find the only open fitting room. Totally absurd and I'm sure other shoppers called bs and gave up too. That is potentially a lot of lost revenue for Macy's. The ONE fitting room had a huge line backed up down the aisle so I decided to put the dresses back onto their various racks, (way too nice of me, but again, this is not the fault of the salesforce), and I walked out. What a waste of my time and a bummer since I was so excited to try on the cute dresses. I give them one star for the cute clothes and kind service, (the ladies at each counter were very friendly), but 4 blank stars for the company's stupid policy that put me through this buzzkill, and for them not trusting their customers to keep our masks on in all their fitting rooms.

Sephora inside Kohl's - Blossom Hill (San Jose) 890 Blossom…read moreHill Rd, San Jose, CA 95123 Yesterday, January 3, 2026, at approximately 3:05 p.m., my wife, baby, and I visited Kohl's to exchange baby clothes that were gifted to us but ended up being too small. I want to start by saying that the Kohl's return experience itself was excellent, especially considering we did not have a gift receipt. The associate made the exchange simple and efficient using my ID, and I was genuinely grateful for how smoothly the process went. On our way out, we decided to stop by the Sephora section inside Kohl's. We were browsing and initially looking for It's A 10 products, which we later learned are carried by Ulta rather than Sephora. Unfortunately, our experience in the Sephora area was very uncomfortable. A security guard began closely following us almost immediately. When I first acknowledged him with a greeting, there was no response. As we moved toward the back wall looking for scent strips, he continued to hover nearby. While I understand the need for loss prevention, especially given the current retail climate, his continued presence through every aisle became excessive and made us feel uneasy. At one point, a Sephora staff member kindly asked if we needed help. She was polite and professional, and under different circumstances I would have welcomed assistance. However, by that point, the constant hovering had already made the situation uncomfortable, and I declined. When we moved toward the front to sample body sprays (such as Sol de Janeiro), the security guard remained nearby, watching us closely. As someone who worked in security myself after high school, I understand the mindset and challenges of the role. That said, effective loss prevention should be discreet and professional. Hovering over the same customers, especially a family with a baby, creates discomfort and risks pushing genuine customers away, without necessarily deterring actual theft. This experience left us feeling judged, whether due to casual clothing on a relaxed day, or assumptions that may be made based on appearance or background. I also recognize that there are situations where individuals misuse strollers for theft, so I understand the need for awareness. However, customer service should always be the first line of engagement, not intimidation. I recommend additional training for security staff on discreet monitoring and coordination with store associates. If there is concern, it should be communicated quietly to staff so that friendly customer service can be used first. Reviewing store footage from around 3:10 p.m. on January 3rd may also be helpful for internal training purposes. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced why I often prefer shopping online rather than in-store. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future customers feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable while shopping.

I think I lost an hour of my time when I only came in to look at pots and pans The employees were helpful when we asked about some of the promotions going on right now which was helpful in us determining when we'd come back to shop more. There were so many deals going on! I think there was a buy $50 and get $10 off, plus an additional $10 off and more! Definitely check the app when shopping because that will tell you what sales are happening and what's applicable when checking out. Definitely coming back before the Xmas season is over!
