Stopped in at TJ Maxx on a Friday afternoon to check out the home goods. It was packed with people…read moreand with inventory. That store carries a lot of stuff! I had a hard time taking it all in because I was so overwhelmed. One of the sections I spent some time checking out was the gourmet snacks. I saw lots of scrumptious looking food, like cookie packages with half shortbread clotted cream cookies and half gingerbread with dark chocolate pieces. They also had lots of different types of pasta, coffee, tea, candy, chips, cocktail mixes, and more. I didn't buy anything because I'm trying to cut back on snacks, but I'm still thinking about the shortbread/gingerbread cookies days later. Overall the store was neat and tidy despite the crowded shelves, and the line to checkout was pretty short. In addition to gourmet snacks, the home goods section offers decorative items for the kitchen, garden, and home, as well as necessities like pots & pans, serving dishes, drink-ware, towels, etc. I didn't buy any items, but did make note of some nice home decor I might want to go back for (as well as those cookies).

It's neat and organized that you can easily get lost in there. The staff were so friendly and approachable when I had questions about finding some items for Christmas! The line was super long, especially with the holidays around the corner. The cashier was super nice as she wrapped some wine glasses for us! Good shopping experience!

I've been wanting to go to Redemption for several months and finally made it to downtown Campbell…read moretoday to check it out. It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

I bought a tank top and it was $42 which was pretty steep but I didn't mind. Until today, I had washed the top I purchased ONCE and after only 2 or 3 wears it starts pilling almost everywhere! Sometimes the my washer does this which isn't avoidable, but I had washed it with like colors and fabric types so it shouldn't have done this. There's also weird lines in the fabric now so not sure if I would wear this outside my house anymore.

Macy's backstage Oakridge is located on the 2nd floor by the children's clothing and men's undergarments. They have a good selection for all genders, but my favorite is the shoe section. It is well organized and they have lots of designs/styles to choose from. Some of the juniors/women's clothing is not the best price, but they are constantly rotating things in and out. Don't forget, you only have 30 days to exchange/return, unlike the original Macy's!

I walked all over the store trying to find an open fitting room and all but ONE were blocked from customer use, as in, closed due to their fears about COVID, I guess. I know we're still in a pandemic, and we need to be careful, but I've shopped at other clothing stores since the post-lockdown reopening and most of them allow us to use ALL fitting rooms in the store as long as we keep our masks on while trying clothes on. Sorry they think so low of their customers that we all gotta be funneled into ONE fitting room and wait our damn turn in a big long line to try on our clothes. I had 5 dresses weighing my arm down and was not gonna wait my turn to try them on when there are 3 other large fitting rooms they could have opened up for their customers. And this is a BIG store and I walked all over the place trying to find the only open fitting room. Totally absurd and I'm sure other shoppers called bs and gave up too. That is potentially a lot of lost revenue for Macy's. The ONE fitting room had a huge line backed up down the aisle so I decided to put the dresses back onto their various racks, (way too nice of me, but again, this is not the fault of the salesforce), and I walked out. What a waste of my time and a bummer since I was so excited to try on the cute dresses. I give them one star for the cute clothes and kind service, (the ladies at each counter were very friendly), but 4 blank stars for the company's stupid policy that put me through this buzzkill, and for them not trusting their customers to keep our masks on in all their fitting rooms.
