I've been wanting to go to Redemption for several months and finally made it to downtown Campbell today to check it out. It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. This was my first time checking out this cute little store!! I know I did the beer walk a couple years ago as well as a wine walk but I think I just stayed outside because I didn't know you could venture into the stores with your drinks in hand! Lol oops! This particular day we were walking around and discovered this cute little store!! I thought these mixed drink bottles were so cute. I had to take a picture!! For 10 or $20 you could buy one of these along with a bottle for your friend or as a cute housewarming present!! They had different sizes, different flavors and different mixes that went for everything!! They even had a fruit punch, one with just fermented, dried fruits inside! I really like this idea! Store had a bunch of other little odds and ends as well as some local soaps, candles, clothes, and baby items and some interesting maps or posters that showed different astrological signs as well as were certain vegetations grow within the state or even the time of year!! I'm not much of a gardener, but I would love to get into it! I also don't have the space but I liked the posters! I also thought I took a picture of the poster, but apparently I forgot! It was still really cute though! The lady in the store was very welcoming and friendly and if you check on the app, you get a discount with your purchase! So I'll have to save that for next time! I stopped by this small business a couple weeks ago and everything was as expected, prices of items were pretty high and especially for San Jose but nothing unexpected. I bought a tank top and it was $42 which was pretty steep but I didn't mind. Until today, I had washed the top I purchased ONCE and after only 2 or 3 wears it starts pilling almost everywhere! Sometimes the my washer does this which isn't avoidable, but I had washed it with like colors and fabric types so it shouldn't have done this. There's also weird lines in the fabric now so not sure if I would wear this outside my house anymore. read more

Really nice shop! Staff was friendly. They had so many "clean" ingredient items for skin care & your home. I will definitely be back. There was also a nice variety of clothing, just not anything in my size. But there were several pieces I thought were cute. I did find the most amazing headbands. Love this shop!! We came in while strolling the Campbell's Farmers Marker because I'd been wanting some cute gold filled earrings and knew Redemption had them. Their jewelry is so cute and all are either 18k gold, sterling silver or gold filled which makes me super happy as a customer to be looking at a high quality selection (never have to wonder if it's going to tarnish, etc). We went straight for the jewelry display case and Amelia helped us right away - she was so friendly, knowledgeable and super nice. Ended up browsing the rest of the store but walked away with 2 pairs of earrings and a bracelet (I didn't catch the name of the other sales associate but she helped us look at a bunch of earrings and bracelets too, and was super friendly and helpful). Such a neat store! There are so many fun items ranging from clothes, skin care, coffee replacement (mud water), hand made mugs and jewelry. Looking for a unique hand made gift for a friend or partner? This is definitely your place! Pros: great range of items and they now have Osea an all organic and vegan skin care like! I love their red algae mask as well as their body butter and eye cream. I highly recommend. The not so great things: the folks working there don't leave you alone. They really took a keen liking to my friend and I for some reason? They wouldn't stop talking to us and it was annoying since I hadn't seen my friend for a few weeks and we were trying to catch up. It's ok if we asked a question but gosh... they wouldn't stop asking what we are looking for etc. I had this problem before last year when I came with my bf they watched us like a Hawk but thought maybe they were bored. Edit** in response to the owner: it's not the lack of "hi". It's the fact that she was right by me as I was looking at the jumpers and she helped another customer and then followed me to the display of trays near the jewelry case and then again when I was at the table of teeshirts and again when I went back to the clothing area. You'd think with a full day and a busy shop she would have better things to do than follow me around the shop without saying a word. If that's not profiling, I don't know what is. I was in the shop less than 15 minutes, 10 tops. Original post: The tall blonde lady needs to stop profiling. As soon as I walked in she was a shadow but never said a word to me, not even "hi". I can see her engage with clients around me that would browse, while staying on me... which was hilarious given my clothes were casual (lululemon cameo cropped hoodie jacket, BR sport joggers and Sandro skipper tee) but I had hidden by sleeves Hermes apple Kelly double tour and enamel bangle... but none of that should matter actually. I get it, shrink happens. Small retail stores gotta have the employees double as clerks and loss prevention reps but at least be a bit more subtle about it. Everything in the store was reasonably priced, kid tees (which a petite adult can fit) @$32. But the attitude of that tall blonde in the jumper was such a turnoff. read more

I love their ethos and that their products are all from local vendors/artists (we desperately need more places like this in the South Bay). If there's one boutique I absolutely KNOW I will be leaving with a purchase in hand, it's this one. Redemption features very boho & modern-inspired art, clothing, jewelry, and more that are made in California, and many happen to also be made by local artists which is even better. My new favorite item of theirs are the "brami" (bra + cami -- you learn something new every day!) tops. I bought a one-shoulder ribbed top in baby blue and LOVE it so of course I had to get another in a different style & color. Over the years I've been in & out of this shop and have purchased art prints, lots of clothes, jewelry (including a necklace I wore literally every day until the chain broke), stickers, and I'm sure even more that I'm not thinking of right now. Never have I ever felt nearly emotionally moved by a retail experience.. but this is a first! This so much more than a retail store. This shop is a family of very thoughtful and loving people only procuring and selling ethical items made in California by really cool companies that treat their employees fairly just like Redemption clearly does! That was a mouthful but this place makes you feel warm and fuzzy (and SAFE during the pandemic) about being in there and spending your hard earned money. I bought an amazing hand drawn map of the Monterey Bay with a gorgeous wooden magnetic from for my brother who worships the ocean daily. I bought the most amazing body oil from Osea that I'm officially addicted to using post shower. I also bought cozy pajama pants and a super soft cropped sweater. Chelsea and Dave helped us from a safe distance in masks and made my young son and I feel welcome and cared for. I can't wait to go back and find more special gifts for others and myself. This is an excellent retail store specializing in California made products. Parking is street only which means there is no parking, so you'll be trying your luck on a side street, one of the back lots, or that parking garage over on second street. This is a thoroughly charming store. Everything in it was made by a California based company. It's heavy on fashion and home decor type items, with a larger then expected selection of men's fashion, both in clothing and lifestyle. For you beardy types (hipsters or otherwise) the stock of beard care products is pretty deep. Lots of quality selections for waxing, trimming and whatnot. But wait there's more-lots of candles, soaps, cute blouses and hand made denim. Also a small but well equipped section for baby clothes and earth friendly teething toys, along with yes, stationary items-cards, writing sets,fancy pens and whatnot. There is a variety of things of offer even for non uber hip pompadours. Pricing is whatever you want to spend. Sure you can drop 100 plus dollars on an outfit and 20 some odd dollars on a ipa scented candle (They are over by the beard wax. You're welcome.) but there is a lot of stuff that is more affordable. I was parking my hot rod in front of Redemption when out walked this cool cat. We started talking muscle cars. After about 15 min of conversation I asked his name. He said his name is David and that he and his bride owned the shop. I asked him what he sold? He said everthing in the store is made right here in CA. (Not the whole U.S.A. but just CA!) They sell lots of wemon stuff there (wifey loved it ) as well as some very cool lights (see pics) I got to say I really,really liked the almond scented hand cream as well as the grapefruit scented hand cream (all natural ) (just please don't tell my friends as the think that I only use grease for hand cream ) Wifey walked out with natural lip balm and we are going to order a copper chain necklace for one of her necklace thingy's. Came here on a whim. Walked in an immediately fell in love. First stop!? The candle section! And it is amazing! This is now the only place I will buy candles from. Not only are they the best scents, they are a wonderful little accessory to my home with how they are jarred. Onto the clothing area.... omg if I had a baby! The cutest little baby clothes EVER! Basically this adorable shop has something for everyone and yes, even dogs. Love the clothing lines they carry and the accessories are to die for. I usually make a special trip to Redemption when I'm in need of ideas for birthday or Christmas gifts. I love that all of their products are made in California. They have a nice selection of soap, which always makes for a nice gift. They also sell chocolate bars and caramel for those who have a sweet tooth. I found a lovely jewelry tray for a gift and a very pretty candle that had a flower pressed into it. When looking for gifts and you don't have many ideas, Redemption is the first place I look to-- there have very nice quality gifts and you're supporting Californian artists and makers. Most of the staff ignored us, until we picked a few items, than sort of followed me around and then asked if they could hold the items we picked up front. I'd say that coming to Redemption burned a hole in my wallet except that before I came here I didn't even have a wallet for which to burn a hole in. My credits card, ID and perpetual collection of loose crumpled up singles that always tally $3 just floated around my purse willy nilly, like they do in the bag of every 30-something who's old enough to know better but for whatever reason just cannot get her sh*t together. Well folks, as of today, I'm officially on the road to maybe, but not definitely, but hopefully, someday having her sh*t together because I sprung for some really rad Cali-born, locally crafted goods that I have a hunch might be essential to getting my life in order. Enter sleek/slim men's black leather wallet. Enter tiny flat purse without holes in the lining so I don't think I've been robbed every day when I can't feel out which hole my credit card and IDs slipped through. Enter super cool hat that won't help me have my sh*t together any more or less but that will cover up bad hair/dirty hair days pretty darn well. Enter secondhand sweater that looks good enough to be first hand at a Free People store but cost less than the sandwich I had for lunch yesterday. The shop people are not only friendly and mighty attractive, if I do say so myself, but they put a lot of effort into curating a really fine menagerie of California-crafted goods, from soaps made from hops to leather-bound bags that support bay area women survivors of domestic abuse, and pretty much everything the Pendleton lover in life could want but doesn't yet have. Nothing in the store was extravagant to the point where I'd bat an eyelash at the price. Most items ranged from $10-$60, with the most extreme price point I saw being a small rack of fancy sunglasses on the counter. From the jewelry to the home-goods, to the clothing I probably could have pulled a real Pinterest on myself and felt like I was here for 10-minutes browsing when in reality I'd have spent the whole afternoon mentally re-inventing my lifestyle. Cute, smart, Eco-friendly, sexy boutique in Campbell with straight five star reviews, and totally deserved. We wandered into Redemption while strolling the sidewalks of Campbell. It's custom denim and designer candles pulled at us like gravity. Before long my +1 was spraying scents on her wrist, cooing and saying "smell this!" A sure sign that gifts will flow from this spring in the future. Then the candles that are made by a local artisan from recycled wine bottles. Burn one down, bring the votive back and it's refilled for a $5 discounted price. Recycled candles, pretty sweet. I'm not even a "scent" guy and gotta admit they smelled amazing. The girl behind the counter is a pre-school teacher helping her friend (the owner) while on their honeymoon. She had as much passion about California-made, environmentally conscious and cool products as I imagine the owners do. She was very pleasant to talk with in a "we kinda wanna have drinks with you" sort of way. Teas with a Prozac-like effect? Yup, got'm. Sexy distressed denim overalls? Um, yeah. One of my favorite stores in DT Campbell. A bit pricey, but I love the clothes, bags/purses, and jewelry, everything!. Everyone is friendly & they didn't rush or kick me out of the shop when I was still deciding which flower petal necklace to purchase during closing time. The earrings are made with copper material, supposedly hypoallergenic, so hopefully no allergies. Only downside is the store can get uncomfortably crowded. read more

When I walked into Redemption while shopping in Downtown Campbell, my wife and I immediately fell in love with their inventory! The selection of clothing and accessories for men and women are fantastic. It's been a long time since I've been in such a cool boutique. Everything is crafted in California. The staff are really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The pieces are very unique and the quality is phenomenal!! The baby clothes is what my wife and I enjoyed the most. We bought my baby girl a few onesies here, and she not only loves to wear them but they are cute and classic styles that she can wear for at least a year. I am obsessed with this store! Tammy and her husband, the owners, are fantastic at curating local California goods for their shop. I follow their Instagram and fall in love with new items on the daily. During COVID, the staff have been fantastic about having customers gel their hands at the door and limiting how many people can be in the store at one time.
