I've been a loyal customer for more than 2 years. I tip 25% on top of the charges every time. I made an appointment for 1pm. I was across the street picking up a prescription earlier in the morning so I swung by to see if they were busy or not, thinking maybe I'll get one sooner if they're slow. They were not slow, so they said to come back. I drove home to Leavenworth. I came back for my appointment but accidentally came at 1:45 (thinking my appointment was at 2pm). They let my know I "no showed". I asked why they didn't call. They said they don't call people they just mark them no show. I said "well it's clearly not like me to not show up, would have been nice to call" The lady hair cutter asked if I wanted to have her cut me, or wait for the male cutter. I asked how long the wait would be, she said 30 minutes, and I said "okay" and was sitting there patiently waiting using my phone. The male hair dresser calls me over 2 minutes later and accuses me of being mean to the lady hair cutter. I asked him how I was being mean and he could not answer me. I told him that I was sitting there patiently waiting, and that he's causing a problem now for no reason. He raised his voice, and I told him that he's the one causing problems, and again reiterated that I was sitting there content to wait. I'm not sure why he called me over just to yell at me when I was patiently waiting. They both yelled at me that I should be apologizing to them for being late. I told them it was an honest mistake. Who do you think you are to demand a customer apologize to you for being late? Life happens. I let him know that I won't be spoken to like this and told him I would find a new hair cutter. How dare you? I have been loyal to you for 2 years. I have tipped you hundreds of dollars that I did not have to tip. Learn some customer service, my experience today was wildly inappropriate and the business owner escalated things for no reason after everything was fine. Re: business owner response. Again, how exactly was I mean? Your wife or sister or whoever that is thinks I was mean because I said "okay"? What else am I supposed to respond with, when asked if something is okay, other than by agreeing and saying "okay"? You can't even articulate what I allegedly did wrong. Edit 2- Dude I was never rude to your wife. I was on my phone. She asked if I wanted her to cut my hair or if I wanted to wait. I've seen her ask everyone this question over the past 2 years. I went here to get my 2 year olds first hair cut because it had good reviews on here they were nice people. I came to my appointment at 4 that I booked online on time still had to wait like 10 minutes I tried to help the guy who cut my baby's hair because he was seeming pretty impatient with us coming in. I tried to help with my toddler because he was squirming around. I don't know if I was being helpful or not I'm a first time mom and was his first haircut, it was an okay experience except the guy who cut his hair seems inpatient. If you are in a hurry to get the next customer to keep up fast service please take off your service of cutting little kids hair you have to be patient with the parents and children He's two he doesn't know any better other than a stranger is taking something up to his head, that is loud. If you are looking for someone to cut your toddlers hair for the first time this is definitely not the right place to go. Sorry not sorry the sides are fine other than you went to far up on the back of his head he looks like an egg. you f-ed up my baby's curls by cutting the top too short and don't even try to defend yourself bc we agreed on half the length and it's clearly not just half the length it's way shorter. I could have done this sh at home. And probably would have looked better. This response is after looking at it for too long because at first I thought it looked fine. I'm livid not going to lie. pls don't reply to this I really couldn't care less what you got to say and you probably don't care either bc you got an attitude problem for real. also I NEVER write reviews but I had to for this one. read more

I was in need of a haircut - at least the 500th haircut of my life! - and went to cuts & fades. I was helped right away, and after discussing how much to cut, the stylist proceeded. I soon noticed that her scissors were quite dull, giving a sort of tearing effect as she cut. Nevertheless, trusting the stylist, I let her proceed. It was far from the best haircut I've ever had, but also not the worst, and she did seem to take care in her work. She cut more length off than requested, but no worries, as it will grow back. But I should have protested about the too-dull scissors, as I now understand that this was probably damaging to my hair. The shop itself is clean, and spacious, though the language barrier was not quite relaxing. read more

I asked for 1-2 inches off and she cut off 4 or 5 and charged me $10 extra because they don't tell you they changed the prices for specifics. Good luck trying to get anything decent here. read more
