I wanted to leave an honest review about my experience because I almost allowed the negative reviews to influence my decision -- and I'm glad I didn't. I brought my dog Abundance to this location in McDonough, GA. When I first arrived, I asked whether she would need dematting or detangling and was initially told she looked fine. Later, I received a call that she would need some dematting, which could range from $10-$25. I'll be honest -- I became concerned because I had already read reviews about upcharging, and I was also working within a very tight budget at the time. I expressed my concern, and in hindsight, I regret how I approached it. The groomer was understandably offended, and I truly felt bad afterward. I apologized because I realized she was simply doing her job and being honest about what my dog needed. Despite the uncomfortable start, she still moved forward and groomed Abundance -- and I am so glad she did. Not only did she do a good job, but something very important stood out to me: My dog came back HAPPY. Abundance goes to the groomer regularly, and typically when she comes home, she's quiet, withdrawn, and goes straight to her bed. This time was completely different. She came back happy, spunky, and in great spirits -- like her normal joyful self. As a dog mom, that meant everything to me. The groomer also chose not to charge me for the detangling, which I truly appreciated, especially given my situation. That level of kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. I also want to say -- don't let negative reviews automatically discourage you. Every experience is different, and in my case, the groomer showed patience, professionalism, and compassion. I plan to return to tip her again when I'm able because I truly appreciated her work and how she treated my dog. Bubble puppies owner is very racist & she has trained her staff to be the same. I was talked down to in a racist manner. This office does not value the black community. The owner & staff showed no empathy when I was paralyzed & refused to come out to grab my puppy out my vehicle. However I did witness this happening with a Caucasian customer. Her dog was picked up from this woman but not mines. Without checking with me the owner flagged my account stating I was bothered by receiving reminders for grooming & this was not true at all. I took my puppy to Bubble Puppies grooming, and they butchered and nicked him all over. He was in such discomfort that I had to take him to the vet so we could find some relief. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with burns from the clippers and cuts from scissors. My initial request for grooming was to shave him lower but keep his facial hair. The groomer advised he had some matting; I acknowledged but was insistent they keep his FACIAL HAIR. Unfortunately, the services provided were sloppy and lazily done. I've had my pup's ears plucked by this groomer in the past, and he's never come home with inflamed ears and bleeding. The ears were so aggressively plucked his vet provided him with a wash and ointment to relieve him of the pain and to lessen the risk of infection of the sores. You can see from the photos they did not bother to groom him. Instead, they shaved him bald as the easiest way to overcome the matting. The owner (Amber) refused to acknowledge the state in which they returned my puppy. She stated he was biting... I would assume he did. I'm sure I would act in the same manner if my ears were being tortured and I was being burned and cut all over my body. There was no apology! Instead, she advised that I sign a waiver dismissing the company of any responsibilities for nicks, cuts, or abrasions. There was no communication regarding the severity of matting and the steps they needed to take to overcome it. I would have refused service if I'd known they would have to cut, nick, and treat my puppy like a rag doll to make him look like a RAG DOLL! This service costs $120! I visited this establishment a total of 2 times. My fist visit everything was fine from customer service to the wait time for my furbaby. Now let's talk about my return. I got to my appointment 30 min early and was informed that it would be a 4 hr wait until her grooming was completed. I was a little uneasy about that wait time and was offered to bump her to the top of the list for an additional $20. I decided to decline the offer and agreed to leave my baby for the 4 hours. Fast forward 5 hours. I decided to call seeing that 4 hours had past and I got no correspondence from the grooming staff. The customer service and understanding to my frustration was non existent. And I was informed that my dog would be another 2 hours. When I expressed my anger that I wasn't contacted on the delay the reception replied by stating "well I offered you to bump her for $20" as if that was a solution. That only angered me further. My dogs appointment was on 8/30 and I'm still waiting on the follow up call from the owner. When I got my pup after 7.5 hours she practically finished an entire 16oz bottle of water and desperately had to use the bathroom. Same conversation McKenna, tells me they took in dogs that came in early. I called back to speak to Liz groomer (wouldn't come to the phone they said she was grooming) to make sure everything was good to make sure my pet wasn't going to get mistreated, I asked, do y'all want me business here, do y'all like me, and what happened to the 15min grace period? McKenna said yes there is a grace period; then said let me check and came back and said No there isn't. So y'all better be on time. I let them know its bad business and the tones are very patronizing (high pitched nice nasty voice). while I was on the phone with McKenna, she tells me actually they allowed two dogs an 8a slot and thats the truth about Nola getting bumped not that she was 5-6min late. I said that logically this isn't fair. All the while, (per McKenna, Liz is on the phone with Amber explaining the issue, (Liz who couldn't speak to me and the only reason I take Nola). I got a text message while still on the phone McKenna saying "Nola was ready to be picked up". The is just 30min after I dropped her. I asked McKenna , what's going on? are y'all kicking Nola out? She said I'm not. Amber didn't answer any of my calls.When I got there McKenna was holding Nola.On my way there I made another grooming appointment at Pet Kingdom for tomorrow (got lucky) based on Two referrals. It's nice and clean & they have the space w/4 groomers, they take your pets out for potty breaks & they have jewels & necklaces for the dogs. My point is go where you're wanted. I loved the ability to make the appointment online and the reminder emails they send out. When arriving my yorkies were barking at everyone and every other dog, but the groomers were friendly and patient. I told the receptionist once I leave they'll be fine, so the groomer came and quickly took them to the back. I was told it would be 4 hours, and sure enough I got a call 4 hours on the dot. I love the fact they stayed true to this time because it helped me plan my day. When I picked my babies up, they both were happy and calm, and looked really great after their groom. This was my second time taking my puppy to this business the first time I took him he received a puppy groom, I was advised to bring him back in a few months for a full groom because he wasn't old enough. Today I took him in for his full groom only to be called stating they couldn't groom him because he was afraid of the clippers. I tried asking what they would suggest and was met with the response "I don't know" Needless to say I picked my dog up when they brought him out he didn't have his collar on he didn't have the cute little handkerchief they gave last time and only thing groomed was his face. Upon speaking to one of the reps she stated that she specifically put notes in his file saying he needed to come back more frequently to get use to the clippers mind you I WAS NEVER GIVEN THIS INFORMATION during his first groom and when I scheduled his full groom again I WAS NEVER GIVEN THIS INFORMATION. I asked about getting some type of discount due to me not being satisfied and didn't get any help. I've been taking my dog to this salon for about 5 years, if not more. Every time we have a different experience and almost always have a different groomer. Even with pictures, they still don't get it right. They could care less about loyalty and customer service. They are never available when I need an appointment, even after being a repeat customer for years. Once you do get an appointment, they last all day. I've dropped my dog off at 9am and he wasn't ready until like 3pm or 4pm on several occasions. I thought things would get better being under new management but the new manger just makes excuses for everything and it's always the customers fault. I was informed when I called to schedule my grooming bill would be either $45 or $55 because my mini golden doodle is 34lbs. This included gland expression and an additional $7 fee for nail grinding. I said fine and made the appointment. I picked my dog up who looked GREAT, but my bill was $135!!!!!! Almost 3x the amount I was quoted and was told he is a special breed level 5. I don't know if it was just me but they seemed very lazy and hard to work with. Stay away from this place! This is the 2nd time I had my babies groomed at this location. I was really hoping this place was just as good as it looks on the inside. Anyhow, here's my story. The 1st time I dropped my Miniature Schnauzers to be groomed, I was greeted by Amber. She assured me that I was going to absolutely love their Schnauzers cuts and couldn't wait to get started. I finally received a phone call a few hours later letting me know that they were ready for pickup. Once I arrived, I immediately could tell that one of my Schnauzers beards had been butchered! They trimmed, what appeared to have been with scissors, straight across leaving no hair at the bottom of the mustache, only on the sides. This looked very foolish in my opinion, but the other baby looked fine, so I didn't complain much. Fast forward, time for next visit. I decided to give them another chance. I reserved another appointment. Amber greeted me again. I explained to her what I wanted done. She acknowledged, asked a few more questions about my expectations and promised me that my girls were in good hands. She said Lauren was there this time, and she had excellent grooming skills. She was so confident in her ability to mimic a Schnauzer cut . I explained to them that I was looking for a Schnauzer cut and pointed out my concerns with our last visit with beard. The beard was very important to me. That was really my main concern with the cut. Fix the beard and make look like a Schnauzer! Amber understood. Fast forward, Amber called a few hours later letting me know that my babies cuts were absolutely beautiful and how Lauren did such an awesome job! Amber stated I was going to absolutely love how everything turned out. I arrived and was greeted by Amber. She said, "I can't wait for you to see your babies!" She attempted to go back to get them, but had a change of heart. She said it just made more sense to pay for them first, then she would go get them. That should've been a red flag. I paid for them and then she called Lauren to bring them from the back. Next thing I know, my babies started running towards the register. I kid you not, the look on my face. All of their face hair was GONE! I could barely recognize them! They looked awful. Amber had the audacity to ask me what I thought about their cuts! Are you serious?!? I advised her right away that I disliked their cuts! She explained to me that Natalie butchered their hair last time. She said it was so bad and uneven, they had no choice but to cut it all off so it can grow back evenly. She told me Lauren was the best groomer in the shop, and that she would just stick me with her going forward because Natalie didn't know what she was doing! She offered my pups a treat, and walked me to my car. What just happened, I thought to myself! As I started driving away, I was almost in tears. I called back in and asked Amber who was this Natalie person. She said it was one of their other groomers and that she wouldn't be allowed to cut them anymore. She reiterated that Natalie was the one that butchered their beards with scissors and that after Lauren pointed it out, she (Amber) made the decision to cut it all off! I was enraged! Did you not think to call me first? I just held the phone in silence as she tried to make me feel better about the cut. She even went as far as telling me that she would take some of the money off of my NEXT visit. Are you serious? I just paid you $95.00 for what?!? I told her that I was very troubled by this and unhappy with the results! She told me that she was the owner, and that she was going to call her business partner and call me right back. It has now been OVER 24 hours, and I still have NOT received a phone call back! Terrible service! I will try to upload a picture of my "Schnauzer cuts" here. Their policies change without notice to the customer and they are extremely inconsistent. Their tone is offensive and unapologetic when responding to reviews on Google. ABSOLUTELY the WORST experience EVER!!! I dropped my baby off for a full groom. After I left I was called to say she would need to be shaved down. I told them I didn't want a shave if possible and can we do a detangle shampoo to help save as much hair as possible? The lady said yes that would help but no promises or they can do a mini groom and not touch the body. I told her I would call right back to discuss with my husband if he wants to just come get her so we could detangle her or go ahead with the shave or mini groom. I called back 5 mins later and advised her to go ahead and try the detangle shampoo and if she still needed to be shaved that would be fine. She advised they would try to save as much hair as possible and try the shampoo. I thanked her and we hung up. 10mins later she calls me to say the OWNER replaced my appointment and my baby would need to be picked up! I was told when I said I didn't want her shaved and would call right back the appointment was replaced. HOW??? Why??? Are they that money hungry? Inpatient? Inconsiderate? Unprofessional? Why wasn't I told that before being allowed to go over other options and give them a call back? So my baby had to sit up there untouched! Disappointed is an understatement. Having our dog groomed here resulted in a trip to the vet and three prescriptions. They nicked his tail and the vet had to shave it and treat it. He is now on antibiotics and two anti-inflammatory medications. We chose to try this shop because they advertised on site cameras. Of course the day our dog was there, the cameras were not working. Employees were unfriendly. When we called back to talk to the manager about what happened to our dog, we are told there is no manager available. When you call they never answer, their website doesn't work, and when they say they will call you when your furry baby is done, they never do. I had an appointment at 9:30 am and I patiently waited until 11:30 am just to check up and get an estimated time on when my baby would be done, but they wouldn't answer their phone, so I went back up there. They told me that they still had two more dogs in front of her to be cut, so I went home. I waited and waited until 3:00 pm (they close at 4:00 pm) for them to tell me she was done at 12:00 pm?!?!?! I was taking Cash to PetSmart but one day during drop off they called me 2 hrs after drop off saying he was having a seizure and they were rushing him to the hospital. He's a baby and no medical issues at all. I know PetSmart dropped the ball and allowed him to eat something in the crate he was in and that's what happened. Recently, my daughter took our yorkie to this grooming salon for the 2nd time. Giving them the benefit of the doubt after my husband gave them a try and was a sceptic. I travel for my job and upon my return, I found my baby to be butchered. His cut was uneven. He was scalped on his legs and behind his ears. The groomer by the name of Natalie G. did a terrible job. I visited the salon the following Tuesday when they reopened and we ( my baby) and I walked in, he begin trembling like a leaf. I immediately took notice and ask the young lady at the receptionist desk if Natalie G was available. Up on her entrance into the area, my baby begin to literally crawled up me which is clearly a sign of mistreatment an or abuse. I pointed out to the young lady that the service she performed on my yorkie the Friday past was beyond unprofessional and a terrible job. I was beyond unhappy and disgusted with him grooming. I asked if she was a student learning and wanted my money back for the terrible service. I then asked if she or anyone there mistreated him because he was terrified of being there. His nails were never trimmed either time he visited. This place should not be in business if Natalie G continues to work there. Please be warned, do not allow this Young lady to touch your precious babies. As a mother, I know when my child and I know when my baby is in an uncomfortable place due to how they react when certain people who has mistreated come around. They're reactions are clear indications that they have been mistreated or abused. I took my dog here yesterday and sadly wish we would have never been recommended this place. Let's see where to start: 1. The price online did not reflect what they charged me at check-out and when I asked the cashier why the price difference she didn't know. I then spoke with the manager Josh who told me that price on line is for dogs 10 pounds and under--my baby is about 13! I asked why wasn't this on line and he told me some excuse about needing to update their website and then had to nerve to say, well aren't you happy with our services as if that negates the lack of honesty and integrity! 2. I told the groomer upon drop off that she had a few mats because we had been growing her hair out. It was not until this morning that I discovered tangles still in her hair. I brushed her this morning and I had to go back and cut tangles from her hair. 3. I had to cut her off of her tail which was left with these shaggy pieces. I had been going to Pet Smart for years and in my baby's 5 short years of life I have NEVER had to come home and do what the groomer should have done. I like to support these type of businesses, but not if the integrity is going to be lacking and fulfilling the service I am requesting and paying for. I am HIGHLY disappointed. I take Bailey here all the time and she loves it. She just walks right into the kennel. We have the monthly grooming membership. Sometimes she could be bathed a little more but most of the time they do a really good job. They are always willing and flexible to squeeze me in. read more

The boutique started off good, and I recommended it, not only to friends and family, but in my neighborhood newsletter. It got progressively worse, however, and kept my little dog 7 hours for a grooming! She was traumatized and didn't want to go back. I forgave it that time, and carried her back again. Her latest grooming was atrocious! No puppy cut, which she usually gets, ears not the same length. I carried her back and let the owner, not the groomer, see her and he said she was not right, and refunded my money. My daughter had a horrible experience there, so we would warn you to beware!!!
