Hi Yelpers, My regular coffee order is a 16oz soy white mocha, lightly sweetened. ...and Cutters point gets it right every single time. I really appreciate a coffee shop that knows how to keep it consistent. No offence, Starbucks - but I've had a few drinks that weren't up to par. My only wish is for them to open a location downtown because it seems like they only have locations in Des Moines and further South. Anywho, Cutters Point is definitely an easy 5 stars for me. The coffee has its own rich unique flavour, nothing like any other coffee shop I've been too. The baristas are always super friendly as well! This is our favorite coffee stand along the 99. They have great mochas, blends, and an awesome simple Americano every time. The service is friendly, they have good lunch options, and plenty of things for the kids too. The chicken salad sandwich I shared the other day was outstanding. This is also the place we stop for our Fishmans Blend - sending coffee to those jealous friends and family is always a great gift. And now they have happy hour, 3-6pm, with $1 off all drinks! Damn, I should've written a review a long time ago. Tbh I don't know why the hell this place has so many stars!!! It sucks. The inside is pretty nice looking. But then last time I went it reeked of fucking old smoke and piss and holy hot damn there was a group of like 10 homeless people in there (without drinks) sitting all over the floor and at the counters. I was confused af as to what they were doing. In fact I'm still confused. They had no drinks or food or anything from CP so idk. But whatever. The prices tho!!! I swear someone else said the same thing but they CHANGE THE PRICES OF DRINKS!! I can order the same thing at the same time every day and be charged anywhere from $3.50-$4.50. WTF. And the ladies who work here are so annoying. They try and make small talk with you but it's not worth it because they just leave and walk away and bang around and shit. Plus they always ask me about my baby (he's normally babbling in the back) or my wedding ring and say "HOW OLD ARE YOU? Ohhhhhh YOU'RE TOO YOUNG TO BE MARRIED/HAVE A BABY!" Tf you bitches it's none of your business. But thanks for the compliment, I know my face is on fleek and these wrinkles are covered up by my shades but thanks yo And their coffee honestly is not that good. Any iced drink is SOOOOOO watered down. I got an iced americano with half water and extra ice and it was light orange in color and yup it tasted. just. like. water. Coffee toffee crunch frap, oh how I've missed you!!! I don't live in the area, but there was a time in my life would I would make excuses to drive down here just to get my fix. I'm thinking I would like to "visit" the Fred Myers soon, haha. The frap smashes Starbucks drinks! It's just so freaking good and their menu is CRAZY! There's a cupcake frap, snickers frap, pretty much anything you could ever want is available here! I'm afraid to try new things since I'm so loyal to my favorite one. My hubby is always a happy camper when he gets his drink-on here. I'm not sure about straight-forward coffee. A true coffee drinker knows that good coffee is primarily dependent on the barista. I came here thinking the coffee would be good, but was disappointed to experience my decaf rice milk pumpkin spice latte was watered down coffee and over sweet. All I could taste was a hint of coffee and sugar. I was also disappointed that no one at the shop knew if they used water process or not for their decaf. What was irritating was the barista stirred the coffee so there was no froth. The froth is what keeps the coffee's flavor sealed and preventing it getting cold. The froth is the MAIN Key to good latte. It was a WASTE of $5!!! The service was great, but the coffee was disappointing!!!!!!!! Not coming back for sure. read more

sooo I came back today and ordered a snickers mocha frappe and the hubby got the almond joy frappe. both were underwhelming... I still think this place is cool due to all the frappe choices they offer but I will only come back for just the coffee toffee crunch. Either way I'm glad I tried this place out again. oh yeah, the first time we came our drinks only came out to 6.00 which I thought was a steal of a deal... but today it was 8.00 which is just like starbucks... Quite frankly tried Cutters because I was just sick of Starbucks. Started going through the Cutters drive through at random times and the coffee was great. Smooth and tasty. Very nice. I then went inside and Wow! what a nice, cool, cozy spot. I do enjoy very much their breakfast sandwich/breakfast burrito options. Very tasty and filling. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was "man this place is clean". The baristas were proactively cleaning. They were both welcoming and genuinely friendly. I'm addicted to mochas. Tried to stop, lose weight, I'm powerless, but refuse to turn it over to my Higher Power. Well! This place makes a "zebra," "nun falling down stairs," "Bush foreign policy," "Black & White" which they call a Vache' Mocha. They spent a LOT of money on ambience. They have a beautiful wood saloon bar. And a nice fire place. Could use some checkers, chess and Settlers of Cataan games. Oh, and the staff, Jessica, Joy, Brandy, et al are getting to be my best friends. They're gorgeous and friendly. Do me a favor: order a "Hot Nathan." I'd be so honored. I really like this place and I'd rate it a solid 5 stars based on the coffee and the people who work there. The coffee tastes great and it's strong but not bitter. I only come in twice a week but they know my drink already and I swear, management has either lucked out with some of the friendliest employees in Seattle or else they screen their applicants really well. All the employees are top notch. The only knock against them for me are their munchies. I've tried their blueberry scones, coffee cake and lemon loaf and they're all just "eh". That's really a knock against their supplier though but I'm half Italian and I need my sweets. read more

This Establishment is not open during the posted store hours. we Arrived at 530 after pressing the open now filter on yelp and when we arrived they were closed. we were on a time schedule so going out of our way to a closed shop was a little frustrating. So let's see is it just me or do they not charge for soy or syrups here. If so then I'm a convert! I didn't see prices on the drive through menu for it and my price for the latte (toffee nut made with soy) and bagel and cream cheese with tip was about $6. I don't get coffee that often and I prefer lighter blends so I'm quite happy to not have a bitter strong coffee tasting latte! I've been going to Cutter's Point for my morning and weekend coffee for the last 2 years. If I was just rating this place on brewed coffee, it would get 5 stars. Everything else about it is top shelf though. The staff is extremely friendly and always greets customers by their first name, which is a nice touch. Their pastries and sandwiches are good quality even if I don't partake that often. They also have a ton of different varieties of whole bean coffee for sale. It's also quite and comfortable if you need to relax, not loud like some other coffee shops. Fantastic coffee, super friendly staff, and their owner didn't sell the SuperSonics. read more
