Anytime I'm in the Tacoma area it's a must to stop and get an amazing coffee. The coffee is consistently good and never disappoints.

Went up to window and to ask a question about the drinks. Rude blonde girl with big eyebrows says "oh I'm not on the clock so she'll be taking care you soon" Meanwhile other girl is frantically making drinks. Blonde then proceeds to chat away with employee making drinks with not a care in the world. After 5 min we left, I understand labor laws but to not be able to answer a question? We live close and tried this drive up expresso years ago and really liked it. We don't drink them often, or let's just say we can go a year between them. However, in the last few months we have stopped in a couple times. Friendly staff and the hot lattes and moacas are still great. We drive by the place often as it's near our house and it seems to be busy most of the time. They take orders from both sides and you can enter off Woodland or 112th. My favorite coffee shop. I go out of my way to stop by here before work even when it's the opposite direction. Just one complaint. The new girl!!! Please follow the recipes!!! I've had 3 different drinks from her and they are the only drinks that deviate from everyone else's. I serve and bartend, and the worst thing you can do to a business is not provide consistency to your customers. The cookie dough pumpkin chai should NOT have butterscotch. I should NOT have to drive back to my house to add chocolate syrup to my mocha because you made it with less pumps of chocolate than what the recipe says. I have never had this problem with any of the other baristas. I'm at the point to where if I see her in the window, I will drive past and not order coffee from there. I was visiting from out of state and the girl working was incredibly kind, helpful, and awesome! They have a lot of different types of coffee and non coffee drinks. I asked the girl working what's a good pumpkin something drink and she made me a white chocolate pumpkin latte. It was delicious! The drive through and layout of this coffee shop is super cool. i stop by here on my way home and I did not regret it it was absolutely the best drink I've had. I love peanut butter and coffee but the one thing I could never really find anywhere was a coffee drink that had real peanut butter in it. I pulled up think I'll just try one of there frappe and then I saw the nutty fox. I'm in love. 10/10 would recommend the coffee shop and the drink. read more

I've always had this coffee shop on my list of to-go spots when in this area and now that I live near by I get to visit more often! The girls are always friendly and the drinks are pretty delish! I don't recall ever having a bad drink here no matter when or who is there. I find this to be a great quality in a coffee shop especially when you don't go often. Prices are decent, cheaper than Starbucks by far and the line goes fast when they are busy! They offer a punch card still which I have noticed some small shops are straying away from. read more

This place is just an absolute terrible experience. The owner does not show up on time to work her shifts on multiple occasions per week. They say they open at 5 but at 5:15 no one is there. They say they open at 6 on the weekends but at 6:30 no one is there. The baristas have no consistency whatsoever between prices and how the drinks are being made. I frequently get an iced drink and it's served to me warm with flavor powder still stuck to the bottom. Some days I pay $2, some days I pay $4 for the exact same drink. read more

The wife and I stopped here yesterday, Sunday at about 11am wanting to get coffee to take with our breakfast to go we ordered from Marcia's silverspoon cafe. I have to actually thank the mindless barista for her poor customer service and not even greeting us or saying we will be right with you after we sat idle for two minutes watching her pull TERRIBLE dirt brown shots and pouring them into two 20 oz hot drinks while we sat ignored. I understand you are pulling multiple shots right now but you should at least acknowledge the window. Like i said i was actually thankful to drive off because the shots she pulled and then let sit were in no way going to make a good drink. She was frazzled, maybe she was new. maybe the girl who was working with her who made herself an iced mocha and then took the trash out should have assisted while there were 2 people on either side of the drive thru waiting. The quality of the bean is masked by the insane amount of flavors and add ins, and generally coffee here is too sugary for me. I get the Banana smoothie if I get anything at all now, and even that is suspiciously too flavorful and sweet. I do think this little stand does a good job of being a non Starbucks stop in a weird place in town for coffee. I came here back in September, and just never got around to posting a review, but I travel past this place daily, and I boil every time I do. I came here because I was running late, and my neighbors told me that this was the spot to go to. So I gave it a shot. Decent customer service. Not amazing, but it was ok. I ordered a 20oz americano, with half white chocolate and half peppermint. The menu read $2.99 or something along those lines. The barista made my drink, brought it to me, and told me my total. She told me my drink was almost $8. When she told me that, I paused, snatched my card back and asked if that price is correct, she advised me that it was and tried to justify why the cheapest thing on the menu got up to almost $8, on how they have to charge for syrup and blah blah blah. She then told me the menu is out of date. I refuse to ever come back here. I get coffee daily, literally. I live half a mile from this place. They lost out on a loyal customer, and my neighbors couldn't believe what happened. They stopped going as well. Word of mouth goes a long way, especially when you work with a large company, with a lot of employees who love to hear about new places to try. I for one told them all to avoid this place. read more

Since this new lady (maybe even owner) has helped me 3 times out of my 10, she told me that I had to pay the difference between what I ordered for my free and what my average drink is. The owner is great but the last 2 times I've tried to go there has been a bust. 1 time no one was there at my normal time, then today they had 2 cars there and no one would come to the window to take my order.
