I was there today 4/3/2026 in the evening for the haircut. Girl name starts with K cut my hair in 5 minutes. She could be in hurry but never had this issue earlier. She could've done better, but I still paid her the tip. Advice: Take your time and don't rush otherwise you will lose the customer. We are paying $36 and expect better service. read more

i checked out yelp reviews and Cutz for Guys seemed like a place for me to check out. Convenient location. Short wait even though they were busy with lots of appts and walk ins. I was a walk-in around 2pm on a Monday. I explained what I wanted in my haircut and left thinking it was mission accomplished because it looked ok on location. Got home and wife hated the haircut because it didn't turn out the same as previous cuts from elsewhere. Next day after a shower, the haircut looked even worse. No biggie. I'll just try a different stylist next time. Clean interior. Would love to see better pricing. A simple cut (no wash) took about 15 mins and ran $34 with tip. read more

This was the worst haircut I've ever gotten. The clippers were dead, she rubbed shaving cream into my neck after hitting it with a straight razor and it looks absolutely terrible. Nothing is even. I'm going out to buy clippers just to fix it. I was at the end of the row so maybe if you're willing to risk it, go to a different person. Shampoo and steam towel with neck shave Every Month, love this establishment in short pump will not go anywhere else Can use a bit more phone service up front as I have showed to appt without a curtious call after hearing barber was dealing with emergency, which I drive 25 min one way to get my haircut done by BP. I've taken my two boys (ages 3 and 7) here recently for cuts, and have had huge success . We've had bad luck in the past with some places, as both of my boys have difficult hair to cut and style, but every time I have brought them, the stylists have quickly understood when I've explained the issues. They've immediately been able to recognize the need for a scissor cut specifically based on the nature of their hair, and have worked hard to avoid blunt cuts on their foreheads. They also make notes in their files for any future cuts. Lastly, they will change the TVs to something more kid friendly if they seem to be getting antsy, but the last few times there hasn't been a need because they have been easily entertained by everything else around them (and also can be bribed by the lollipops up for grabs). Overall, if you are a boy mom looking for a new stylist with walk-ins, this is a place to keep in mind. read more

I went there to get my haircut after a buddy of mine came back with a great line up from there and he told me to see Chelsea, so I did and just walking in the whole shop was very friendly and welcoming. When it came my turn Chelsea was super nice and had a great bubby personality. We conversed the whole time and made it feel like a barber shop like back in the old days and what you would see in movies. By the end of it I had the best fade, line up and beard shape I've ever had in my life. Been going to her ever since and have actually become pretty good friends with her. Was always my favorite place to get my hair cut! I started going there as soon as they opened and I've only stopped going because I moved further away. The prices are extremely reasonable (same average as any other general salon in the area) and I've never had a bad experience. I get a mixture of a #3 on the sides and keep it a little longer on the top so it can fold over on itself and I never had a stylist mess that up. They knew exactly what I meant when I asked for that (and after a couple of visits they had my preference in the computer so they only had to ask if that was the same thing I wanted this time). If you go on a Saturday, you can expect it to be slightly busy, but don't be surprised. If they do their jobs well, it makes sense that it'll be a little crowded! There were a few times I spent maybe 45 minutes total in the salon, but that never bothered me because I knew I would be getting service that was worth the wait. If you're in the area and you need a haircut, I would definitely recommend Cutz For Guys. (Don't be fooled by the name either, I've seen them do "Cutz" for ladies as well!!) read more

I've been looking for a "regular" place to go for cuts, and think I have finally found it. I have been going to a different barber shop for almost every cut for the past few years, hoping to find that stylist who's skills and personality that I can feel comfortable with and make me want to come back. A few days earlier, I was putting off my next cut, and my hair was starting to act up. I pulled out the clippers to clean it up and must've slipped behind my ear, because I shaved a small bald spot that I didn't even notice. She pointed it out for me before we even started, to make sure I knew that it wasn't her mistake (she was very polite about it). She then made sure she did everything possible to make it as inconspicuous as possible. She cut my hair in a style I had never had before (faded), and I couldn't be more happy with the result. I've been to many other places and asked for an undercut fade but everytime, they would cut it oddly as if they learned from googling how to fade hair. It has been a real challenge finding a good place to get my son's hair cut. We keep it on the somewhat longer side of things and for whatever reason, other places just couldn't get it right. Valerie did a great job with my active 3 year old both in terms of her demeanor and the quality of the cut. Now I get my hair cut here too. Not only is it a darn good cut for the cost, but it is also a much more friendly and enjoyable experience than that had at the nearby chain cutteries (that is a word right?). Most didn't listen to what I'd request and had some vision in their mind about how much or little I wanted cut. Then, out of desperation, I walked into Cutz for Guys. Honestly it's not the type of place I'd normally use. I was stuck thinking that because you have to make an appointment they must know how to cut hair. Anyway, I walked in and Margie changed my life. Not only was I able to walk right in for a cut, but she listened to what I wanted, talked to me as she cut my hair to make sure she delivered on my expectations, and even made notes so the next time I came in she'd know better what to do.
