I went 24 hours without pain medication after a major surgery. My husband went in person to plead with them to fill it, and they looked him in the eye and said "sorry, it won't be filled until tomorrow." Terrible people, terrible company. Will NEVER go to another Walgreens.

Are you even talk to the security guard while waiting for my Uber after the purchase. Walgreens is everywhere which is good. After dinner nearby at this shopping complex, I headed to Walgreens to pick up some stuff. It was after 7:30 PM on a Monday night and it was already dark. Daylight savings time has ended and it got dark early. The store was largely empty, with a few people roaming around in the back of the store and a few people were in line ready to pay. During my time here, I probably spent about 30 minutes, looking for what I needed. And then, stood in aforementioned line while waiting to check out. Walgreens has everything that you could want on a daily basis. Usually. I didn't need the pharmacy, but glad it was there for people who need it. The store is quite clean and spotless, organized to a tee. I figured out where things were within 10 minutes into finding what I needed, picked it up, and headed towards the cashier area. It was a quick process and you always want to be in and out quicker than you thought it would be. The service was definitely friendly and professional, I thought you could tell that sometimes you just don't wanna be there. And it kind of shows. Still, it was nice that this Walgreens was conveniently located for me because I needed stuff and it was basically a short walk from the restaurant I was dining in that night. So, if you're in the area and need stuff for everyday use, this being at your base cap for all things you need for a daily basis. They got everything pretty much for you and what you need. The overall experience here at this Walgreens particular location is typical yet uneventful at the same time. I found what I needed in record time, which is pretty cool for me. They sell namebrand products as well as generic stuff too. Walgreens can be a little pricey, but they sell body products and a reserve price. It just depends on what you need on a particular day or night. I basically purchased a few bottle drinks and some lite snacks to have while in my hotel room watching TV later that evening. Nothing special. They have a plethora of snacks and assorted drinks, soda, pop, energy, drinks, and even alcohol. Unfortunately, also the alcohol is not refrigerated and you have to do that yourself after you get home. That's a total bummer for sure. I think that this one is 24 hours, but I'm not too sure on that. My favorite thing about Walgreens that they're everywhere, like Walmart, Starbucks, and McDonald's. Very very convenient location for me and a place to go where you needs stuff. I can definitely count on Walgreens to have the stuff that I need and add a cheap price - or at least at a reasonable cost. For the most part, though, it was a good experience because I didn't have to take an Uber to get here. It was just a walk from the restaurant that I had dinner in previously. It was quick and painless so on a good day - or evening. I can definitely say that I enjoyed my shopping time here, even at a Walgreens. Yes Walgreens. If you're ever near here, get your stuff here at Walgreens, best decision ever. This particular Walgreens is located at 1234 Main St. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is part of a shopping complex called amble mall. Like many retail chains nowadays, they accept both major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a huge parking lot for you all to park here, since it's part of a shopping destination Mecca. I'm not sure if the Albuquerque public transportation system comes to here, and it should. Best bet is to check online for the Albuquerque public transportation system, and see if it does. There's of course, Uber and Lyft to get you here in an instant. After my purchase here at this, Walgreens, I made a little chitchat with the security guard outside while waiting for my Uber. He's a good guy. It was a nice short conversation that made me think about life and how it can be transformative as well as cruel at the same time. Made me think things that they just not often to be thought of. With that said, it is definitely a good thing that I came to this Walgreens. It helped me think of things while having a good shopping experience and a blessed night in Albuquerque. So, if you're ever here in the area, consider coming to this Walgreens For your needs. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

Surprised at all the negative reviews. My online orders are always ready quickly and items are…read morealways in stock. When I use the pharmacy, either in-person or drive-thru, my meds are usually ready in a timely fashion. Even if there was a mistake, my prescriptions are usually filled same day within 30 minutes. Been very happy with using this Walgreens as my pharmacy.

I was prescribed antibiotics from an urgent care center. I had it called in to this Walgreens and…read morereceived a text right away that they were working on it. When I got there I checked in and gave the clerk my new insurance card. Several minutes later I got a text saying it was ready so I went to the counter to retrieve the prescription. The clerk waved the bag with my prescription in front of me and said my insurance had not updated them on the price of the prescription so she could not release it to me. She asked me to wait. About 10 minutes later she called me up, said they still had not updated the price and that she could not release the prescription. She said I should go home; that she would call me when the insurance had updated them. No call came after 5 hours so I called my insurance, who said they did not have any contact from Walgreens about my prescription and if the computer systems weren't talking to each other Walgreens could have called them about the order to get the price. I called Walgreens and spoke with a different clerk who said since the price wasn't up I could pay $11 out of pocket for the prescription. I said yes, of course that was what I wanted and why had I not been given the option when I was there earlier? He said some people get angry having to pay out of pocket. When I picked up the prescription the original clerk told me she was trying to be considerate to my wanting to save money. My generic prescription copay is $10 so she had saved me $1 and it had resulted in my having to wait 5 hours with an active bacterial infection. All the techs I dealt with at this location either weren't thinking or didn't care.
