Under no circumstances should you use this pharmacy for your prescriptions. I've been using this cvs for years and not have a single positive experience here. Every time I go to pick up necessary prescriptions, they mess something up. The techs are all incredibly rude, and I have seen one woman there make multiple people cry as a result of her attitude. The pharmacist, Vela, is terrible at her job. The pharmacy constantly mixes up prescriptions, says they are ready then are confused why you are there to pick up prescriptions, and fill prescriptions without notice when they are not on auto fill. This has caused many problems, as they refuse to fill them when they are actioned, because they secretly filled it without notice. These people hurt people. They don't care that they hurt people. They lie about actions. They make sick and old customers cry. These people should lose their license. While I will not be returning, I will be reporting these people for the good for others. This is for the pharmacy and overall piss poor customer service provided here. Came here because my kids have pink eye. Doctor called in medicine two days ago...took us that long to get the medicine because the pharmacy closes earlier than when we get off from work. When I arrived, they were not busy but it took them 7 minutes to even address me. When they finally did they told me my medicine wasn't ready. Telling me I needed an override. I explained the circumstances that the medicine (eye drops) were misplaced which is why the doctor's office called it in again. Instead of being helpful, they told me to call my insurance myself to get an override. That makes no sense since I've worked in a pharmacy before. The PHARMACY can call the insurance to get an override especially if the doctor called in more than one Rx AND left notes as the reason for another Rx which my doctor's office did. Another gentleman came up to get a COVID test and the pharmacist acted like she had no clue where he could get one and told him to go to the front of the store. His response was, no one was at the front which I can confirm because when I walked in, didn't see anyone either. The parking is horrible for this location. If I can help it, based on the service received, I will NEVER come back here. read more

Truly a terrible CVS. Very low stock and their pharmacy has given me more issues with filling my prescription than I have ever experienced in my life. Transferring my out of state script to here was such a pain in the ass and they wouldn't fill it exactly the way it was written - which was for a 90 day supply. When I got a new script for here the same exact script, it also wasn't filled the way I asked my provider to do it. I have placed orders for my script to be filled and they cancel it without any reason and I can't get anyone on the phone for it to be explained. I hate that this is the closest CVS because it really FUCKING SUCKS! read more

The pharmacists at this location have been wonderful. Had many Rx for my elderly mom there when she moved from out of state. They helped with changing insurance providers, ensuring best financial option, obtaining refills, and calling other locations when they did not have medicine in stock. I will never go back to this CVS again. Today was the straw that broke the camels back on a list of issues I've had here. That issue was MY CAR WAS TOWED while I was in the store for 7 mins. There is NO PARKING WHATSOEVER to access this store, unless you're going to pay $5, $7 (who knows how much) in a distant parking garage. Dominion Towing is running a scam with the shopping center parking lot across the street - and CVS could very well be in on it. If you park there, they have an employee sitting nearby who calls the tow truck driver as soon as you exit your vehicle and walk to the CVS. Someone from Dominion told me this. So to avoid the constant parking issues just DO NOT COME HERE. Additionally, the pharmacy is source of harassment. The pharmacist (not a robot, the actual pharmacist) will call you weekly to ask the same questions over and over. I have begged to be removed from the calls. I received a call at 3 AM once while on travel in a different time zone. And it's always "do you want to fill xyz prescription?" as if I don't know how to call and have it filled when I'm ready. No, I don't want to fill it, I want to be left alone. The general store employees are worse. Today I observed someone's personal phone, snack and beverage laying out on a cart that was being used to stock shelves. Once, I walked up to a register and the employee was leaned over using her phone and jumped up: "oops, you snuck up on me!" How can I - THE CUSTOMER - sneak up on YOU by approaching the cash register that you're working?? This store was a waste of prime retail space in the neighborhood. read more

Convenient location just across the street from Eisenhower Station. The CVS offers basic services you'd expect with a pharmacy, some snack food, and beverages. They just opened, so selections seemed a little limited. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Store was clean and shelves were well maintained. Overall, pleasant enough and I'd return if I needed something last minute (ice cream). read more

I guess because of its location, it is a bit expensive, and sometimes I just can't purchase things there because they seem way over the top inflated.....like six dollars for the toothpaste I like? No.....I'll wait. But it has everything I need within steps from my apartment and I guess sometimes you just have to pay for that convenience. With that being said, the store is well organized and clean and the staff is exceptionally nice. We go there for those times when we're looking for a snack or maybe something we forgot at the regular super market. They even carry a brand of shampoo I use for my grey hair that is not that easy to find. The check out people are always nice to chat with and make it a very pleasant place to shop. If I had to choose between these guys or going to that wretched 7-11 down the block I'd pick this place every time. I just wish they had later hours. read more

The store is well-stocked, however every time I go in (I work in the building above) there is a long line at the cashier. This is especially noticeable at lunchtime, when they should anticipate more customers. I usually run down while on a 10- minute break, and today had to give up and leave because there were not enough cashiers. Can they add some self-checkouts if they can't hire more staff? I don't have the time to stand in the store in line to buy one small item. read more

The pharmacists here are very professional and caring, and the pharmacy is a well run operation. The rest of the store is always fully stocked with food and pharmacy items, and I haven't had to wait too long at checkout. This location is definitely not a grocery store, but it does have a lot of basics, like frozen dinners, ice cream, cereal, tuna, and cookies. I'm very glad it opened last year in my neighborhood. read more

I was disappointed when I came in here recently. I bought some Ajax (14 oz., $1.09), some WD-40 (8 oz., $9.29), a laundry bag ($6,79), three magazines ($12.99, $13.99, & $9.99), and eight razor blades ($9.49). The total came to $67.45 for what should have been maybe a $35 purchase. The sizes of the Ajax and WD-40 were about half the sizes of the containers these products usually come in (28 oz. and 16 oz., respectively). CVS has been rapidly expanding in the D,C. area, so there is much less pharmacy competition than there used to be. Some of the Rite-Aids have closed (https://yeswecoupon.com/good-bye-rite-aid-is-yours-closing/) and Eckerd (now defunct, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eckerd_Corporation) is no longer in the D.C. market. Another factor for the high prices could be their commercial landlord stiffing them on the rent, which happens often in big cities. In D.C. itself, many neighborhood businesses of many decades are closing because of the increasing rents. In Alexandria, the Belle View plaza where Safeway is has a very high turnover in tenants for similar reasons. I know this because I used to live in Belle View before recently moving to Franconia. The Belle View CVS is similarly expensive to this one. The store is clean and well stocked, and the staff is friendly, but the prices seem way too high. I would not come in here to stock up on first aid supplies. Maybe go to Amazon or Wal-Mart if you want to stock up. This place is conveniently located near the Metro if you need a few items in a hurry, but that is it. read more

The CVS here is pretty clean since it's a newer establishment. They are generally well stocked. They have snacks, medicine, and beauty products. The pharmacists here are okay, not terrible. They seem to have a high turnover of pharmacists here though. The pharmacist that started here when they opened is not the same pharmacist that is here now. The people at the cashier are okay, at least I have not had any issue with them. I can't say that with all the CVS stores though. Hours could be better with this place, like staying open until midnight or making it a 24 hr pharmacy would be nice! read more
