I went to pick up my prescriptions August 20 2026. I just want to point out the screen where your information is entered is big enough for other customers to see. I would like my info to be confidential. I mentioned this to the cashier who looked at me with indifference. When I explained I feel my birthday should be confidential she replied ,"it's just a birthday". People can obtain a lot of information with access to cvs prescription information and I'm concerned about identity theft. Also I had two skinny pop popcorn bags which rang up $5 on sale from $7.99. I told her the tag below the product advertised as two for $7.00. Again I received a blank stare along with her explanation that I was saving $2.99 each from the $7.00 full price. My cvs savings card appeared to be entered with my RX access info so I didn't ask if she needed my keyring cvs tag, just gave up frustrated and will avoid shopping for anything besides prescriptions. Sadly my insurance is partnered with CVS or I would fill them elsewhere. I was disappointed she didn't check for the actual price and so had the items canceled. I did confirm the sale price before exiting the store and stuck the sale tag I removed from the product shelf next to the pharmacy register hoping CSHR#2902172 will see it at some point. I would have asked to see a manager but the one cashier at the front register was waiting on someone, no one at the pharmacy even looked up and I'm tired of having to make a federal case for good sense and good service. read more

I would give zero if I could! This is for the pharmacist primarily.....I've been using this pharmacy for years....and the staff there have mostly been very accommodating and nice. However, I had to discuss an issue today with the pharmacist. While he was still working on another RX, he asks, curtly, what I needed. I told him my RX refill was being sent to the wrong dr so they were not responding. So he goes about updating...he speaking in a whisper, I wear a hearing aid and have to ask multiple times for him to repeat. He was visibly upset by that and then began asking with a louder voice, very rudely. I going to presume as a pharmacist that he has many older patients who use hearing aids, so I would think his demeanor MIGHT be a bit more on the gentler side! If he dislikes customers maybe he should find a different line of work. I have read multiple reviews on yelp from people with the same complaint. Ridiculous!!! read more

Lately, they have a pharmacist on duty who clearly has no sense of customer care and overly efficious and clearly has an attitude that customers are only annoying and demanding. I've been coming here for years with good and prompt service in all parts of the store, and great service at the minute clinic. There are still some employees doing a good job. The one star is for more recent untimely (important prescription delayed for a week, app says they're ready when they aren't, pharmacy staff takes their time when you arrive), incompetent and rude service at the pharmacy, which has me infuriated. Be aware and make sure they fill your medications correctly--amount and medication type--before you leave. read more

I was in the middle of a conversation with a woman who works in the pharmacy when we were interrupted by another woman who abruptly told me to come back at 2 after their lunch break. If you're taking a lunch break, don't invite new customers up to counter and interrupt them mid-sentence and tell them to leave. read more

The front door was locked and there was a sign that noted that the store was closed due to electrical issues. I needed to pick up my medication so I repeatedly called to see if the pharmacy would be reopening later in the day. No one ever answered the phone, but eventually the store reopened. The pharmacy was fast and efficient in dispensing my medication. This was one of the best CVS locations that I have visited in recent memory. The location was well lit, very well stocked, clean, and organized. I wish I noted his name, but I received great customer service from a young man with dreds. I had an armful of items and he went out of his way to get me a shopping cart. He was very knowledgeable about the store stock and I was able to locate several items with his assistance. I was annoyed by this loud sound that kept going off whenever I walked near the shelves. The sound really hurt my ears, but I understand that this is likely a theft deterrent measure. All in all I would recommend this location and I will return. read more

I was trying to purchase a money order and was ask by the so called manager if I had cash . I replied no but I am using my debit card which is the same as cash . The manager then said I couldn't use a debit card to purchase a money order . When asked why I was able to purchase a money order at a different CVS location her reply was she doesn't know what the other location is doing but here at the Belle View location they were told only cash for money orders and even Safeway required cash to purchase money orders . Clearly all information online states that you can purchase a money order from CVS with cash or money order . Please train your managers better Belle View CVS so customers won't be turned away ! read more

As many times as this place has jerked my chain, I cannot believe that I haven't reviewed it yet. On the surface, it looks like any other CVS, and you are likely to run into some nice people back behind the pharmacy counter, but dig a little deeper and you will find a black abyss of customer service. This is a store that often finds customers waiting in line while one teller desperately calls in the back for assistance. Yeah, lots a luck with that one, poor frazzled clerk . You're co-worker is hiding the back while the rest of us endure shopping purgatory. Yup, throw in a clueless customer trying to count her coupons at the checkout counter, and you have a recipe for frustration. anger, and misery. Now, what I find is that Darwinism hadn't weeded out Miss Coupon's ancestors long ago. I mean, certainly they must have stood looking at a strange piece of fruit or a weirdly shaped rock, unaware of some hungry predator on the prowl for a quick snack. Unfortunately for those of us standing in line, Miss Coupon's ancestors managed to dodge that beastie. So now the rest of us are now left to languish in CVS's ever-growing line. Screaming into the phone/intercom: "I need help on checkout!!" Please, I think to myself, We might as well be waiting for Godot. Time crawled by as Miss Coupon droned on about the true value of her treasured coupons, and no one arrived to assist our beleaguered checkout clerk. I really started to feel sorry for her, but I also reminded myself that the clerk could have had Miss Coupon move to the side until she got her coupon crap together....But no, those of us trapped in line really needed to learn about the intricacies of the double coupon. This has got to be the worst of the worst CVS pharmacy. I deal with them because of both insurance and location or I would never visit this place. Every prescription is a problem and nonone in pharmacy knows the answer to anything. My daughter has a med that is critical to her especially on school days. I always make sure Dr office calls in and it's there for when her refill ready. I completely get the need to not pick up early etc; but my Dr said call to be sure they got it and that they know to fill on day 40- did that they said call back next day, did that on the 30th day, call they said nope two more days I am like she took her last pill she got school tomorrow... he then says it can be filled the next day, well I needed to get when they opened bc she needed the next day when I ask when would it be ready and when they open the pharmacist was a complete jerk! His name is Ben, he sounded like he just graduated from school but they claim he been there a long time! These issues ALWAYs happening at this location!!! And it's not always this script it's everything! CVS needs to do an overhaul of this location!!! read more

Horrendous service. If you are a veteran, avoid at all costs. They couldn't figure out how to input the plan numbers provided by the VA. Even with the VA calling and providing them the information they were still unable to fill the prescription. And these clowns are in the system for the Mission Act. The only reason I went here is because the VA website listed them as in the system. read more

At 5:45 Pharmacist said would be an hour wait so I agree to check back in an hours. I actually gave her over 2 hours but was told another 20-30 minutes more when I came back! I know there's only 1 pharmacist but don't lie to people about the wait. Finally got my meds 30 minutes before pharmacy closed so I can get some much needed rest. It also didn't help that the pharmacist was rude when I first dropped off. I really miss The pharmacists I had at Rite Aid before they were bought and closed by Walgreens. read more

CVS now offers ear piercing at certain locations, including this one. You supposedly can make an appointment online. I booked an appointment for last Saturday and was told that the "beauty consultant" didn't start until an hour and a half after my appt time. I went back at that later time and the consultant had not come in. I then made an appt for this past Wednesday and called first. The consultant was not scheduled to be in that day. Both times the clerk that I talked to was helpful and apologetic for my inconvenience. Both times I requested that the manager call me back about the situation. He never called back. Obviously, CVS has a problem with its online scheduling. Obviously, this store manager isn't interested in correcting the problem. The pharmacist I encountered was incredibly unprofessional, with a complete lack of awareness of her workplace, surroundings, and how to offer customers "5 star service". The lack of customer service was abhorrent. 1. a CVS pharmacist/ any employee at the store, ESPECIALLY during a global pandemic, should understand where to locate COVID tests or at least communicate to the customer where to find them in a store. 2. as someone who pays 5 dollars a month to be a carepass member, I have coupons. Several. That's the point and why I go to CVS. This employee refused to believe the customer was right (customer service 101?) and acted as though I was crazy for thinking I had any. After a back and forth banter and a line piling up, I told her to void my order altogether and I'd go up front for help. the lovely cashier there couldn't believe that I saved nearly 60 dollars on my order - wow! I seriously hate this CVS, and the only reason why I give it two stars is because I can actually walk to the store. So, it's a convenience thing. Not only can I never find everything that I'm looking for, but customer service/check out is ridiculous. Ok, it's a small store. I should expect that their stock is limited. But, it's still off-putting when you notice empty spot after empty spot of where merchandise should be. Do they not stock regularly? Also, if you're looking to get in and out quickly, forget it. They often only have one person at the front cash registers, and it doesn't seem to faze them or the rest of the staff as the check-out line winds it's way down the center aisle. When someone finally does come up to open another cash register, they certainly aren't in any hurry. One woman staff worker in particular. She'll do everything else first, including walking slow as molasses, before finally making her way to the cash register. And, of course, there is always a super slow customer or customer who wants to play chatty Cathy. While I'm fine with the cashier being friendly and gracious, at some point you've got to cut them off and wish them on their way. Don't let the rest of us just stand there endlessly, accumulating other customers to our never-ending "we may not get out of here alive" line. Of course I'll continue to come in because of its proximity. Frankly, that's probably the only way this particular location stays in business is because it's next to a Safeway and its main clientele are people who live in the neighborhood. read more

I hate to give the entire store a single star, because the staff outside of the pharmacy is pretty good. In fact, I'd give them 5 stars, which means I'm giving the pharmacy -5 And that's generous. Unfortunately, this is the only pharmacy within walking distance for me. I honestly cannot remember a single time that I've gone there where all of the following occurred: 1) the pharmacist was pleasant 2) there wasn't a long (as in, 10+ minute) wait 3) They were able to find my script quickly 4) they were able to submit the script without me having to call my doctor and/or insurance company. At least one of the four occurs every time, and usually more than one. Usually, there are between four and six people working the pharmacy, but even if the pickup or drop-lines get to be ten people deep, no one will jump in and help out, they just keep filling jars in the most leisurely manner possible. There is a serious language barrier with some of the pharmacists, and more than once I've given up to come back later rather than try to have a conversation with her. CVS seriously needs to address these shortcomings. Edited on 1 August, 2017. Case in point: It's 8:00pm. There are four people in line at the pharmacy pickup. One register open (why they have three back there is a mystery). The two people at the head of the line are both elderly, with difficulty hearing, and both seem to have some insurance issue. Thus there is a lot of discussion going on, as the clerk tries to take care of their issues. So, for 20 minutes, I wait in line. During that time, the woman who is THE pharmacist, which ostensibly makes her the department head does the following: Takes out the trash. Reorganizes the plastic baskets near the checkout. Goes behind the counter to get more baskets. Adjusts those. And a few other tasks. What she DOESN'T do is see if she can help the elderly customers. Or see if her clerk can use a hand. Or, heaven forbid, open up another register. Clearly should could not give a crap about the customer service in her department. With an attitude like that with the department head, is it any wonder that the rest of the pharmacy employees are rude, slow, and lazy? read more

I've come to this pharmacy to pick up prescriptions for myself and my parents multiple times. Every single time, and I really do mean every single time, there is a problem. Medications are sometimes unavailable with no explanation given, just blank stares. Prescriptions are filled when I've specifically asked them not to fill them. They just don't seem to listen to their customers. I've been told it would take 15 minutes to fill a prescription multiple times, only to come back and have them tell me they never were told to fill it. I really think CVS needs to do a better job at training these pharmacists in customer service. I understand that its an important job, and I'm grateful for the services they provide, but at a certain point you start to wonder if these people are being incompetent on purpose. It also doesn't help that I've talked to multiple people working other positions at this CVS who have told me how horrible it is working in the pharmacy department. This problem has been ongoing for 5+ years with no change. Please CVS, I implore you, if you care about providing good customer service, and at a bare minimum accurate filling of prescriptions, retrain these people. Look into who is in positions of power and how they are trying to improve these problems because nothing is working. read more

NEVER have my prescriptions ready or not messed up even refills they text me to come pick up are MIA when I get there. Staff is rude on a good day. Horrible service!!! I had a good visit at the Minute Clinic--prompt and efficient. They electronically sent the prescription to the pharmacy and then it all went wrong. Over an hour wait for a simple, preboxed item. It wasn't like pills or something that needed to be counted. All they needed was to slap a label on a box. As someone new to the area, I just can't believe there aren't more Walgreens here. CVS always seems somewhat worse than Walgreens but so much better than Rite Aid. Not this one. It's on Rite Aid level. Trinh Bui in the pharmacy is not helpful nor does she offer any customer service. I was most horrified by her lack of concern for privacy/confidentiality as she asked for my scripts while she was also dealing with someone trying to get a flu shot. As she worked on the computer, she named out every single one of my prescriptions in front of the other customer. I should not have known the other person was there for a flu shot, and she shouldn't have known the name of every single one of my scripts. It looks like people have already beaten me to the punch but I still want to leave this review in order to really drive the point home. The signs at this store are incredibly misleading and the staff is not helpful. They refused to honor a sign that said "Buy One Get 2nd Free," citing that it can only be used on the same brand. However, the sign did not specify those terms and the signs were place on multiple brands of the product. When an entire aisle has the same sign on each product, how on earth would someone reasonably deduce some made up terms!? The staff were unhelpful and too absent minded to understand that their signage was misleading. I will never be shopping at this CVS, and honestly, it makes me question the CVS brand in general if they are letting a store run like this (and what other reviewers mentioned). read more
