It used to be great. Friendly staff, clean, efficient. But in the last couple of years it's truly gone downhill. Little things are telling, like the fact that the 2nd drive-through lane, that uses one of those robotic transports, has been broken for a years. Harder and harder to find someone at the front register when you want to check out. And the pharmacy has gone from great to awful; today I waited 45 minutes at the drive through with ONE car in front of me. I finally gave up and went inside, and when I asked why they didn't just have that driver pull into a parking slot and wait, the brain-dead clerk (name starts with "G") had no explanation -- and actually seemed to find the situation amusing. I'm done with this place, until they get a new GM. read more

I stopped in for a passport photo and there was only one person working in the front, his name was Mohammad. He was very friendly and quickly let me know that he would be with me as soon as he could. After finishing up another passport photo customer, he rang up someone at the register and then came back to take my photo. He made this process quick and easy and was a very nice guy. Please professionally clean your he restroom. Why lock it when it is so disgusting? No paper towels, no soap, feces everywhere. Dust and muck. It is so obvious it is not cleaned. People who use the pharmacy are sick and carry germs. Not cleaning the restroom is a health hazard. The pharmacists are using this filthy restroom and handling the prescriptions. Their pharmacy is POORLY managed! The staff is irresponsible and clearly uneducated! Over time with this pharmacy I've had several frustrating encounters. Just a few examples, waiting in the driveway after getting to the window for 25+ mins. Or waiting in a line that moves very slow. I am not sure if they are understaffed or just not performing. Needless to say things need to change, because my self and many others will end up switching pharmacies. read more

A generally nice convenience store that provides several conveniences from medicines, to ingredients to make dinner when you forget something at the grocery store, and all occasion greeting and gift cards. I am no longer a customer of this location since the pharmacist on call decided that he would insert himself into my healthcare relationship between my doctor and I by not filling a prescription that had been emailed in on July 3, 2020. The doctor even called and left a voicemail after the pharmacy had closed on July 3, 2020 saying it was okay to fill. The pharmacy was closed on July 4, the second day I went without medication. On the 5th, I called the pharmacy to check the status. The pharmacy lied and said they never received that voicemail. I know it was a lie, because my doctor went out of his way to send me an email saying that he called and left a message - now on the 3rd day of not getting medication I needed. I went for a long weekend without medicine I needed, that my doctor authorized, because the pharmacists perceived himself to be an authority over my physician and didn't want to fill it. There is no policy that states that the prescription cannot be filled without the physician's consent. Instead, they gave me some lame reference to filling prescriptions early as a courtesy, but they absolutely chose not to in this case and even though my physician is fully aware of the situation and consented by sending a prescription for filling, the pharmacists refused, causing a worsening of my condition, which led to an emergency healthcare visit. It is utterly unacceptable for a pharmacist to override the instruction of a doctor. A pharmacist is not entitled to the privacy of the communications that occur between patients and their doctors. If a doctor sends in a prescription based upon a visit with a patient, that is substantial enough to be evidence of consent to prescribe medication. The doctor's DEA number is on the prescription, so if the doctor doesn't have a problem with sending a prescription, the pharmacist needs to fill it or just go ahead and become a doctor. But the arrogance of the pharmacist at this location was utterly unacceptable and led directly to a deterioration of my conditions. This is the second time I have had to have my physician team go above and beyond sending a prescription and then having to personally call the pharmacy because the pharmacist perceived themselves to be in a position above the doctor. This ultimately leads to patients not being able to get the treatment they need when they need it. This Walgreens has pharmacists on staff who believe that a prescription is not enough documentation between a patient and doctor; they will interfere in your care and have no qualms about unnecessarily delaying receipt of your medication whenever THEY feel it's okay. I have removed all of my prescriptions from this location because dealing with arrogant pharmacists is not good for anyone's health. I recommend that if you have prescriptions that you need to have filled without dealing with arrogant, bureaucratic hurdles that you remove your prescription from their care as well. This lack of professionalism and arrogance led directly to a decline in my medical condition. read more

I get my prescriptions here which is one thing and it's fine okay service but it can be super slow at time and even during crowds only one person is working the counter. It's really irritating, today when I got my Covid shot I made an appointment which you had to do and that was fine no problem but they where late and only had one person administering the shots. It was not okay for me to be waiting for around 20 mins after my appointment it was insane and when I tried to tell the pharmacist about the wait time she just blew me off and was not helpful or a very good listener at all so that is my review of this location for two different things. read more

Every time I've shopped in this store I've found the staff to be extremely professional and very helpful. I always use this store when I need photos printed and my most recent order had a size that couldn't be printed due to a broken machine. I asked them to keep my order on a wait list and print when the machine was fixed. Well, I just had a call from staff member Israel who explained the machine was repaired and he ran the job and it would be waiting for me. Israel went out of his way to call and explain to me. I just got home from picking up photos, from the Walgreens on Maple Grove Rd in Fitchburg WI, of our vacation trip. Over 150 4 x 6 photos. What a waste of money! Most pictures were cut off so bad that the photo was absolutely worthless. Example: A full length picture of the ARK at the Ark Experience. Only 3/4 of the Ark was in the picture. I would not want to show any of the pictures to anyone. In the trash they go, everyone of them. Now I'm going to give Shutterfly a try. Very Disappointing. read more

This pharmacy has the worst most unprofessional staff. It is the most poorly run pharmacy I have ever used. I will never be coming back! The never ordered my medicine! Even after I reminded them when I spoke to the pharmacist on the phone! My doctor sent the prescription to the pharmacy on Wednesday, and they still hadn't ordered it by Sunday. One pharmacist told me on the phone that she was going to put in the order right then on Sunday for me to pick up Monday, but she NEVER ORDERED MY MEDICATION! They still hadn't ordered it two days later so I had to call several other Walgreens to find one that had my medicine in stock. That should be considered professional malpractice! A pharmacist can't just refuse to fill a patient's prescription! This is unethical! I will never return here. read more

Finally first ever 24 hours pharmacy in Northern VA. king st store is way too small for retail, but this one is spacious and not a bad location. It has a drive-thru window and photo center. good location but to much drive for me to hassle...:P Friendly customer service with right altitude unlike other drugstores. No more worries of having to deal with troubling CVS. they answer your questions very detailed, straight forwardly. On beauty corner they have more brands than cvs including the The Face Shop Korean cosmetics brand. read more

I like this Walgreens. My prescriptions are always ready with absolutely no hassle from the pharmacist. This is a well lit, well stocked and properly laid out Walgreens. There's always plenty of staff here to assist you if you can't find what you need. They also keep the grounds very clean. There is plenty of handicapped parking & 1 or 2 parking spaces where electric cars can charge up! I sure hope it stays this way. read more

This Walgreens location is great. I love everything about it! It has a 24 hour pharmacy and a 24 hour photo lab. As far as the pharmacy goes, usually have about 2 members on staff. They are very informative and helpful. They have 2 drive-thru lanes that are super convenient, and pretty fast, if you need to only pick up your Rx. There photo lab is phenomenal. I use walgreens.com to upload and select pictures I want printed. Every time I send pictures to be printed at this location, they are usually finished within an hour or less depending on how many pictures I am getting printed. I had printed out some of my wedding pictures, and I had printed an 11"x14" poster to put in a frame and it was excellent quality. Not only do my prints always come out great, but they have awesome prices. I have never used the print kiosk there, where you insert your memory card, and select the pictures you want printed, but I have seen a staff member walk someone through each step until they were finished with setting up their order. Customer service there is great. I have never had an issue with any of the staff, they are very helpful. They inside of the store is always clean. Overall, this location is great, and the staff is nice and helpful. Just don't look at the Rite Aid that is across the street, it's pretty run down. read more

I had an appointment for a covid-19 booster vaccine. The store had a sign that said sign in for covid-19 vaccine. But when I went to the window the guy behind the counter said that I had to get in a long ass line even though I had an appointment. Needless to say, I dipped. It was an organized mess. In terms of sales floor aesthetics, this Walgreens is enticing and attractive. The pharmacy drive-thru is strategically placed at the back of the building so as not to impede customer access coming into the store's entrance. I use this pharmacy's fully automated telephone prescription refill service and have never been dissatisfied with pick-up and payment. Like a convenience store, there are plenty of over priced grocery-store-type items for sale. So, buyer beware. read more

Pharmacist today didn't know what she was doing. I needed a vaccine and the system says it is not allowed in the state but I was able to get one from CVS. Train your pharmacist how to use softwares. That will help a lot. It wasted my time and it was very inconvenient. Go to other pharmacy places where they know what they are doing. read more

Beware of false advertisement for this store. I searched on Walgreens and specifically entered this store and selected "in store" to verify pricing on formula. They had it listed for $35.59 and in store it was $39.99. I showed the clerk that the price was listed different (for their specific store) lower and they should honor that. She called the manager and not only did they not come up in person, but they refused to honor it. Extremely unethical. Beware Moms. I was thinking about switching my prescriptions here because of the drive through and now I will not. Hope that $5.00 being unethical was worth losing a customer. read more

Walgreen's is a great alternative to get odds and ends. It definitely beats the big box stores, especially if you're in a rush. A Walgreen's card lets you earn free money to use in the store. The staff at this location are generally nice, if not a little slow. A downside is their drink selection stinks. Other than that, great neighborhood pharmacy. read more

I have been using this Walgreens for awhile now. I love the location and the 24 hours. I stopped using the pharmacy because they don't communicate very well about your orders. I dropped off a prescription and came back about 3 days later after receiving a text it was finished. I went to pick it up and it wasn't filled for various reasons and I was leaving town early in the morning the next day. After a big go around with them,I decided to take it over to Rite-aid across the street. After I dropped it off, can you believe the pharmacist called Rite-aid and told them they will fill it now and wanted me to return. Your Kidding me!!!!! What was that all about?? Very strange situation on the different reasons they gave me. Take in mind that I have been filling the same prescription for months prior. GO FIGURE!! I won't be using their pharmacy anymore. Now for the front end counter. There's a older white guy who's the cashier every now and then. He is always chewing gum so loudly and he's not very customer friendly. He doesn't say HI, Thank you, Have a nice day, Nothing!!! Obviously he doesn't really care about his job and helping Walgreens with a name of customer satisfaction at it's best. pharmacists refuse to address patient questions - they answer and send the tech out to tell you, which is just unprofessional and unwarranted. they are the experts but they hide out in the back never coming into view. the techs are pretty great but the fact i have to wait 40 minutes for service - drive thru or in person - is unacceptable. this is at any hour on any day they're open. and i also have multiple times had to update or remind them that i am insured. as if they lost their records. i get charged full price about ever 3-4 visits. i also learned they're not IN NETWORK and so my $4 script continues to rise in price to where the same script is now $10. no explanation for the increase. but the techs are very professional and nice but they should not be responsible for communicating sensitive drug information to patients/patrons. i am now going to look into CVS as an IN NETWORK option. read more
