I HAD to write a review! The past few times I've gone to the pharmacy they have gone above and beyond for me there without even expecting or asking for them to do the most. My favorite pharmacy! I love that they are 24hr as well which makes it extremely convenient. This review is for the Pharmacy. CVS pharmacies are a hit and miss; depending on the store, the quality of service varies from poor to excellent and as any service business, customer satisfaction is directly related with the management and employees commitment to excellence or the lack of it. In all my years of using pharmacy services from CVS and other stores, my experiences after using this pharmacy was the worst I've ever had. I stopped here to fill a prescription because it was the closest CVS to the hospital were I picked up my wife after a knee surgery. The drop off window has the slowest and inefficient procedure whether you are a current or new CVS customer. The woman working at this station was extremely insensitive and should not be assigned to work in a customer service position. I was waiting for the prescription and got a call from my wife telling me that the she got a text from the pharmacy and the prescription was filled about 10 minutes earlier. I approached the clerk at the same drop off window asking the status of my prescription and she told me to wait at the end of the pick up line. I said; "what kind of business are you running in this place". I've been waiting for my prescription and you want me to wait at the end of the line? This is crazy! You place the waiting customer in front of the walk in line. Unfortunately our prescription provider is CVS and you are required to purchase your regular medications from them or pay full price. Can't wait for 2019 insurance changes that may offer an alternative or new prprovider. read more

The pharmacy section staff especially the Pharmacy assistant: Cashier is extremely rude and mean.., she had the attitude in a very hurried way, does not smile or even greet customers, there's no good attitude towards the customers. Atleast be pleasant, she had a face but the service are poor. We are treated poorly and rusher especially with that who works on Sundays around 8 pm, it is a disappointment. Atleast treat other people with respect even though your workload seems to be overwhelming. That is not fair for us, we are just picking up our medications and we are not treated with a good conduct or manner. I felt so rush by that cashier and that is very unprofessional and unpleasant. read more

I shop at this CVS so much because it's close to where I live and they're opened 24 hours. I would rather go to Target but the closest Targets are in Pasadena and Monrovia. The store is very large but surprisingly they don't have as big of a selection as I would expect. Their cosmetics section has limited selections on the colors that they carry. The positive is the store is always pretty clean and well organized. The line is usually not that long but once in a blue moon I would end up waiting in a huge line with one checker opened. The staff is fairly nice but I think the service could be better. read more

I called the pharmacy in advance to ensure they had my prescription after other locations didn't have it in stock. They let me know they did have it. After an excruciatingly slow checkin process, I wandered the store. My name was called 15 minutes later back to the drop-off window. The pharmacist let me know they misread the prescription and don't have it in stock. Two stars because the pharmacist tried calling other locations to see if they had inventory.. Cvs on Baldwin ave Arcadia - personnel are not reliable. I transferred all my prescriptions from walgreen to cvs. I gave them Walgreens info. Are they not suppose to get all my prescription info from Walgreen? When I asked for a refill for one of my Rx they wanted me to provide Walgreens phone no. Which. I had already given them in person. They need to add more people since they seem to be very busy and not able to attend to the needs of their clients. read more

My family and I hit up this CVS all the time, it's close, convenient and hassle-free. This CVS is larger than usual so I was surprised by everything they had when I first visited. They have food, drink, medicine, toys, cosmetics, you name it they have it. The pharmacy people are also pretty nice too so that's a plus, I got my flu shot here one time. They even have one of those Dr. Scholls orthotics machines that will tell you which inserts to get for your shoes to help with back pain etc. Pretty legit. The only thing to be careful about is EVERY time I go here I see an accident in the parking lot. It's weird, it's like the lot is jinxed or something. But actually I think it's because the parking spaces were constructed so that it's very difficult to see when someone else is pulling out at the same time as you which causes many collisions to occur. So BE CAREFUL when you are parking and pulling out of your parking space. Seriously it's crazy how many people don't pay attention. read more

This location is open 24 hours, which can be very handy. It was recently remodeled and is a pleasant place to shop. The main problem with the recent remodel is that nearly all of the cash registers were removed.. now you usually have to take your items to the customer service desk in order to pay for things. Obviously this isn't a problem if you're just picking up your prescription. read more

Bartender's Guide of What's Still Open After 2. I've been coming here since when it was Savon and something else and now CVS. There's this one phillipino lady tha's been working the graveyard shift for so many years and she's just an angel. Cashers are sooooooooo much nicer in the night time. I guess they are more stress free? You do get the DMV type ladies here if you go in the daytime. That's why I hardly do. Do sign up for their CVS card you get alot of discount coupons. When you go in the night time, those guys are pretty loose about applying the coupons to anything! read more

One star for being open 24 hours. They only have one lady working both the drop off and pick up line as well as answer all phone calls. I was third in line to drop off and waited 50 minutes. I was told that it would take an hour to fill my prescription. I returned and was once agin third in line and waited yet another hour. Hire some people already. read more

We should thank this CVS opens 24 hours because it made things easier when we need to get something after all other stores and markets closed, especially the pharmacy they have here, if we got any prescription from the ER and even though we left The ER (Emergency) at "3am", we are still able to pick up the medicine we need at this place. I know many people have been complaining about the customer services from the pharmacy, but I have to say something for them- they could get extremely busy here and they don't have a lot of staffs here, it's like one staff is working on three staffs' work! So it is normal when you run out of patience when you trying to get all the things done but at the same time they have to give the services to so many many customers in there, and every customers have different issues; it's like the chef at a restaurant have to come out to serve the customers at the same time and also have to answer so many many questions and problems coming from all kinds of customers. For the restroom part, I don't think you guys get to complaint either, because I know not all the CVS Pharmacy will have public restroom, it's nice enough that they let anyone who walk in to the place and use their restroom, which means even if you didn't buy anything here, you still get to "use" their restroom without permission. Some places even have quarters machine to charge you on the restroom door, or, a code number you have to get from the cashier register! Will you do the same like this CVS if you own a store? And sometimes people leave a mess in the restroom or used all the toilet paper in here, and it is a hassle for people who work here have to take care of it, not you. read more

If you're going to be open 24 hours, you have to help people at the late hours too, even if it's 11:50 PM. I even made eye contact with the cashiers chatting at the front (couldn't find anyone on the floor) ... I knew after 20 minutes I wasn't going to get help but I kept wandering anyway, as a messed-up exercise to see how long it could go on. Huge 24-7 CVS five minutes from our house. This is where we call in all our family's prescriptions, but that's probably only because we rarely get prescriptions, so the long wait at the pharmacy doesn't seem that bad. Occasionally, there is not a wait. Avoid "peak" times such as evenings if possible. Don't bring the kids; you and they will not survive the line, and you'll end up buying all sorts of toys for them and chocolate for yourself (hey, it's on sale!) to recover. The bathroom always seems to have an "Out of Order" sign on it, which I always mention to an employee, who always says, "That's weird, it should be working fine," and lets me in. Large selection of random things on sale to try to entertain you during your wait. Overall, doable. read more

This is the worst experience I ever have in a market. Tonight the cashier was really mean to ask my husband have to leave his backpack to her, if he doesn't leave his backpack, she won't let he in! I asked her where is the notes or policy tell about that?! She said there is no policy, she just need to see which person should leave their own bag!!! And I didn't see any locker for customers to put their backpacks! That is really unreasonable and rude!!! read more

So I dropped a prescription off on Saturday at about 2pm. The pharmacist Michelle assured me that they'd order it on Monday, receive it by Tuesday, and it'd be ready by Tuesday afternoon. I waltzed in Weds night when I never received a text notification letting me know it was ready. I spoke to Alice and inquired when it would be ready for pick up. She said Thursday or Friday. I asked if I could pull the prescription and she could check another CVS that may have it. She said she'd have to call up each one to find out and if I wanted to pull the prescription I'd have to wait in the "drop off" line. Horrible customer service and terrible accountability! Not sure who dropped the ball on this one but clearly theres a reason this CVS has bad reviews. read more

The worst cvs I have ever been to. Came to get my medicine at 950 , lady says I need my ID .! Told her I had to go home to get my ID... she says okay and I walk away. Go home get back at 10:00. Walk up and they tell me they shut their stuff down already... which apparently they close at 10 now. I work in customer service... don't understand how she wouldn't have told me that. She knew I was going home and coming back which I had 10 minutes to do and didn't say anything about the time they were closing. Walk up and the guy keeps saying they closed all the computers and I need to come back tomorrow. Obviously I was pissed because of the whole situation... and it was clear that I wasn't happy. I walked away trying not to be upset and hear them talking about me and making fun of me for getting upset until they realized I had walked down the cold medicine aisle. Not to mention that this is my anxiety medicine... so instead of losing my mind I'm writing this review. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional staff in my life. I came here, because the pharmacy is 24 hours and the CVS pharmacy near my house was closed. Omg this was the filthiest CVS I have ever been to. It was so gross. There was trash left on the shelves and trash cluttered in weird places. The restroom was unbelievably disgusting. I could not believe that CVS would allow to have such a dirty restroom. The toilet was dirty, there wasn't any toilet paper, the toilet seat covers were on the filthy floor, there was no hand soap, the hand soap dispenser was on the dirty floor, and even the door was filthy. The sink was extremely dirty. The "Employees Must Wash Hands" sign made me laugh, because there was no soap. There was actually a Lysol bottle of bleach, but it was clearly never used in there. So gross!!!!!!! The only thing I can say that is nice about this place is the pharmacy staff. They were patient and attentive. read more

Dear CVS: It all started when my husband had a sweet craving in the middle of the night. His first thought was to go to Pavillions only to find the store was already closed. He remembered that the shopping center across the street had a CVS which is open 24 hours a day. Thinking it was a good idea, he decided to go there. Boy was he wrong!!! The minute he entered the store he heard someone on the intercom say "eye on cameras," he didn't think anything of it and proceeded to look around the store to fulfill his need of sweets in the middle of the night. As he continued to walk through the store, he realized that the security guard kept a close eye on him. He picked up the item that he wanted and proceeded to the checkout. As he was exiting the store and realized he was the only customer in the building, he came to realization that the "eye on cameras" comment was specifically meant for him. His crime? Being a black man walking to a CVS store in the middle of the night to purchase an insignificant item to calm his craving. I guess the fact that this particular store is not located in a predominately "African American" neighborhood made him that much more of a suspect! I think it's time you practice what you preach about transparency and human rights and show your employees to treat ALL customers the same! If you or any other company can not do that, then maybe you shouldn't be in business. Of course you must know by now that WE WILL NEVER SHOP AT YOUR STORES EVER AGAIN! I have been a patron since I was a child, once upon a time when you were Sav-On pharmacy. My family and I have had numerous prescriptions filled at your locations all our lives. You can rest assured that none of them will continue to provide you their business. There is plenty of Walgreens and other pharmacies that will gladly take our business. It breaks my heart to know that this day in age and with all the situations going on across the country where black people and people of color in general continue to be targets because of the color of their skin; to know that you too are part of this problem. You would think a company as big as yours would want to lead an example and change things for the better. Rather you decide to keep things as they are! I am writing this as I am sitting here now, for almost an hour to pick up two prescriptions. This one insanely stupid girl that works here (Daisy) has been with the same customer, literally, for half an hour. There is a line of about 10 people who have no idea what is taking so long. This is like the few pharmacy open 24 hours in San Gabriel Valley, this can be extreme helpful in late night that most other one just closed. Price here can be a big in the high side if they not on sale, just like most pharmacy. They got a lot different variety of items, first time you notice when you walk in is the lottery ticket machine. The parking lot is huge, however I been approach by bumper paint repair fraud artist. They claim to work for mechanic but in reality they noting more than a scammer. This could occur in many other place, but was surprise they will show up here. read more

Slowest pharmacy in existence. CVS's already aren't the greatest (unfortunately it's the only pharmacy my insurance allows me to go to) but this specific pharmacy takes bad service to an entirely different level. There's always a wait.. Even if there's NO ONE else in line and 3 techs dilly dallying. Some people could defend them and say they're busy filling, talking to insurance, requesting refills from doctors. But I've worked at a CVS as a tech before! I know how it works.. They just don't care here. Only read on if you want a long story.. An example of one of my many bad experiences here: I get a phone call that my prescription is ready. I come in to pick it up. Takes a few minutes to find my prescription for some reason, but no biggie. They tell me my copay has miraculously increased by about $60. Doesn't sound right.. So I question him and he says it went through insurance.. And in my experience as a pharmacy tech for years I usually call the insurance for clients because it usually streamlines the process. Nope, he told me to call and figure it out myself. Sure no problem I got this.. I talk to my insurance to find out my auto bill pay hasn't been working. So I pay my balance.. Insurance is back in effect! I come back & wait in the pick up line to pick up my prescription.. Oh tech is confused again! He says it's still $60 and did go through insurance.. Asked to see if I got a new card? (Assuming I'm stupid) Nope, I explained to him the problem and to please just rerun my insurance. Apparently he's not capable of this (which I know he is because once again I've worked as a pharmacy tech), but can't argue when he tells me to go to drop off so another tech can rerun my insurance. So of course there's a long line.. Once I get to front the new tech does not believe I know what I'm talking about. But at least she called my insurance company.. Made an effort. BUT the help desk apparently can't help.. Gave her another number to call.. But surprise! It's only open 8-5. So I am another day without my meds. Yay read more

This got to one of the MOST UNFRIENDLY places to shop! I was looking for oyster shell calcium. The pharmacist just waved me off ... if it's not on the shelves, we don't carry it. Come back another time, she told me. I asked if these could be ordered fir me to pickup. Go to the front we don't order. She said. So I've lined up at the front cashiers and asked re ordering. Again, I was told, if we don't have it on the shelves we don't order it. So I explained, I was asked to go to them for ordering. Only met with a rather orated voice by the Asian lady at the cashier " The pharmacy don't know what they're talking about!" Wow! There's no way I'll be back to this place!! read more

Very disappointed in this CVS! I went to an emergency room in Long Beach, and found out I have gallstones. I was given a prescription for a pain reliever for my gallbladder pain. I moved to El Monte and once again had terrible gallbladder pain around 3 AM. Desperately in need to the medication, I looked up a 24 hour pharmacy and was so relieved and grateful to have found this location. Someone drive me here, and it was a little far, but worth it because I would not be in so much pain after handing them my prescription. When we arrived I was told to wait by the pharmacist. It was very obvious that I was still in pain, and it was 4 in the morning, the only reason anyone would rush to a 24 hour pharmacy at that time would be for an urgency!!! Finally, he asked what I needed and I explained my situation to him. I just needed what was on the prescription. He looked at it very confused. What could be so confusing??? Gallbladder related medical conditions are very common. Norco is very commonly prescribed. He said is this from another area? And I told him I was in an emergency room in long beach but lived in El Monte and needed it urgently. He refused to help me because the prescription was written in long beach. Out of the area. WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN? What if that was the ONLY 24 hour pharmacy in ALL of CALIFORNIA????????? Are you kidding me?! That's wrong. There's no reason for someone to not take a prescription. No matter where it is "from" unless out of state... I left in a lot of pain, very disappointed in this cvs. Wasted a lot of gas. A lot of time. First time here to come pick up medicine, already got called in the morning that its ready. Came in the afternoon and was told nothing is in the computer and asked me what medicine I am picking up. A month later coming to pick up for the second time, told me the same thing and asked me what medicine I am picking up. Told her it was suppose to be auto refill and she checked and told me she doesn't know why but it wasn't set as auto refill, but she can refill for me now in 10 mins and she will call the name and I don't have to wait in line again. 15 mins after I didn't hear anything so I get in line AGAIN with another cashier and got my medicine. Going back to the cvs on las tunes because they don't know any customer service. read more
