Very frustrated with this branch. I had a script set in 6 days ago and they didn't fill it. They claim it must have been sent to a different pharmacy, but I have the conformation from my doctor it was sent here. I need it today and they don't stock it. Also a while back I had and issue with a pain medication. I just came from the Hospital and they refused to honor my scrip for pain meds. This was very frustrating and painful for hours. read more

Just wanted to say I had an excellent experience at the Minute Clinic today The nurse practitioner Sandhya Nambudripad was punctual knowledgeable and efficient not to mention extremely pleasant ..I was in and out in less than a half hour.Thankfully with an antibiotic (which was already waiting when I was ready to leave.) I went to 'CVS - manage my prescriptions' to check the status of one medication, which needed a prior authorization. For a week, the status was, "Good news: Your insurance has approved the request for this prescription. We're working on your order now and will let you know when it's ready." I contacted CVS to check on the delay. I was told that it was still pending approval and to contact my doctor. I tried to explain that the incorrect/misleading status message on CVS's website. There was no acknowledgement of what I had said, and, therefore, nothing was said about correcting the message to reflect the actual status. Poor form. read more

This is absolutely the worst CVS I have ever been to. The pharmacists are simply incompetent. The one message I want everyone to hear is COUNT YOUR PILLS BEFORE LEAVING THE PHARMACY! Do it right in front of them, so they know it's no joke. Think of the 100's of prescriptions they fill a day. Narcotics and stimulants. Skim a few off each script, sell them, walk away with at least an extra thousand a week in their pocket. Don't be fooled, it has happened, it continues to happen. Poor management. Will waste tons of your time! Pharmacy staff not friendly. Terrible communication. My family has been stuck without necessary medications many times due to zero follow up with practitioners. I've been told several times that we need pre approvals, only to find the process has been completed already! None of the other locations are this bad. read more

I had an appt. to get a Covid booster and am handicapped/on crutches. I waited 45 MINUTES WITH AN APPT., watching the Asian/male pharmacist wait on people who were 6 PEOPLE BEHIND ME IN LINE, taking 10 minutes to discuss dry hands and non-prescription hand cream. After 35 minutes, I told him it was difficult for me to sit or stand for any period of time without pain, which is why I had made an appt. and arrived on time. He continuously told me he'd "be with me in just a second", then continued waiting on people who came in 30/40 minutes after I did. Rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate. read more

I've been to so many CVS stores that they all start looking the same. This is one of the few that actually stands out, with it's brand new renovation to be the absolute best in the large string of CVS stores that accompany Massachusetts. Seriously, even though Walgreens is the largest pharmacy in America, Massachusetts DEFINITELY, 100%, has more CVS stores, and with the constant closures of Walgreens and continual openings of more and more CVS stores, it's clear that people of this state just like CVS better, and I'm starting to see why. I actually used to think Walgreens was cheaper most of the time, and for that matter, I still actually do. In general, their prices seem to be just less, with or without a sale. With that said, I came here with one mission, some SERIOUS shopping. I had recently watched a TV show regarding CVS and couponing, and started from there. Downloaded the app, attached my ExtraCare card, and started couponing from the Boston Globe and from their weekly ad. I came in here and not did they have everything I needed, they had a huge clearance section and so many snacks and candy on sale that I literally don't think there was ONE item at full price. After my multiple transactions totaling over $30, I noticed how much I saved and how well the coupons actually worked. Long story short, my suggestion is to download the app and start going through the weekly ad and finding the items you need that have a good deal. The benefit of this specific location is that you can get everything you need as the store is fully stocked (and doesn't have a half-full selection like my recent trial-and-fail at the CVS in Burlington, when I was up that way, and could barely purchase any of the items I had coupons for since their store was so small) and because anything else you need that is overpriced here (because in general, CVS is overpriced), can be found for less right next door at the Family Dollar. Service here is super pleasant and both management and the cashiers are more than happy to help and greet people with a smile. It's not all that busy and it's extremely spacious and open. Lighting is fabulous and the design employed by this CVS and very few others is what all CVS stores should strive for.... it's just above and beyond great. Highly suggest this CVS. The worst CVS pharmacy!!!! I wish I could rate it zero stars! Never saw such incompetence in my life...never have the meds that you need to refill and the staff have no idea what is going on! I had one person laugh in my face when I asked if we could send it to another pharmacy! Lines are always long and you have to wait over 10 minutes to pick up your refill! We have prescription insurance through CVS, otherwise I would never go here again. This has to be a management issue -- no pharmacist ever seems to stay, the ones they get present as very green ( often rude, always rushing, incomplete messages and communication, frustrated with customers, sometimes blatantly disrespectful), and the pharmacy is chronically behind in all areas. If I did my job the way they do theirs, I would be out of a job. If you have options, use them. read more

I went in to try to print passport sized photos of my infants on their photo machine. I made sure to take photos of my kids and crop them to the appropriate dimensions so I could quickly print them and get out. I tried every option on the machine to get the photos off my phone and printed including downloading the app and transferring via wifi, bluetooth transfer, wired transfer, etc. I then asked for assistance and the staff member couldn't help and suggested I go home and order on the computer and come back the next day. Less than an ideal solution, because I specifically came to the store to get this done, but a solution nonetheless, I tried to upload the pictures the next morning (after spending 45 min the day before), however there is no passport sized photo option for printing via cvs.com. I called the store to ask for assistance and both staff members didn't know and the "photo guy," who was the guy that helped me the night before, wasn't there today. The day prior I had also ordered a prescription to be ready at 11:00am and it wasn't ready when I arrive. I don't order my prescriptions at 11 so I can come in and wait 20 min with my kids. C'mon! Why offer this service if it actually takes as long to wait for your prescription! Additionally, while I was there some women came in to use the western union machine and when they asked a staff member for help. The staff member replied "I don't know" and walked away. Both the woman using the machine and I were taken aback by how rude she was to her. Honestly, one (or even two!) of these issues are par for the course, but this is ridiculous.
